I used to love coming here because of the friendly staff and nice inventory but I have stopped buying from here because of the quality. I bought pave bands and the diamonds have fallen out 3 times. I only use the rings on special occasions and do not wear them in the shower so this should not happen. Each time I go in to repair I have paid over 100$ which is not right. read more

I visited Brian at Dalia Diamonds early on a Wednesday morning on a last minute trip from DC to get my engagement ring redo. Basically what happened is, a few of my micro-pave stones had fallen out the day before, and had compromised the band. My husband was due to go abroad to asia for 6 months on that Friday morning, so we needed to get to NY asap to get a new setting. The jeweler that we purchased our engagement ring from about 7 years ago had moved out, and Brian and his family took over that storefront about 1 year ago (although he and his family have been in the business for decades). In a minor panic, I explained to him the situation, and he (without hesitation) told me he would redo my ring setting, EVEN despite the fact that he didn't even sell me my ring (ah-maze-ing!). I told him that in fact, I'm considering a whole new setting (but still similar to what I had), and he gladly said he would give me a credit towards a new setting of my choice. Within 20 minutes, I found something that I really liked (he has dozens, if not hundreds of choices in his shop) and I decided on it pretty quickly. He told me it takes about 10 days to custom make, and he'd be in touch with me when it's ready to arrange for the shipping. He called me the following Monday saying it was ready. I was ecstatic and so excited to get my ring back! He took a couple photos to show me before he packaged it. From the photo, it looked like it might not have been exactly like I wanted, and expressed that to him by email. He said "when you receive the ring in DC, and you don't like it, I am happy to remake it just to your exact specifications, and I'll do it in front of you so you can watch". WOW!! What exceptional customer service. He sent the package out on that Monday, and I received it on Wednesday morning, only 1 week after visiting his shop. I am absolutely thrilled how it came out, photos just don't do it justice. It fits my 2.93 cushion cut stone perfectly and I'm so impressed with his care and service throughout the entire process. I have no hesitation in recommending Brian and Dalia Diamonds to anyone in the market for fine jewelry. He is a likeable, trustworthy man in the midst of the craziness of diamond district NY. Brian, thank you so much for an absolutely gorgeous piece! JM and LR read more

We went to jewelers row to find the perfect engagement ring. We hit neighboring stores first. The people working therein were so pushy & annoying, we headed back to our car. On the way, we ran into a guy who suggested we go to Dalia. I said, I really can't handle the hard sales type staff, so I'm just going to leave. He promised me the staff at Dalia was not pushy salespeople, so I gave them a chance. And I'M SO HAPPY I DID!!! They had a huge selection of settings and they couldn't have been more helpful. I can't remember the guys name right now since this was a year ago, but he sat down with us and showed us different stones in the same carat, with varying grades, clarity, etc. I felt so well educated and chose the most perfect stone and setting. We're going back Sunday for diamond studs, as well as wedding bands. read more

1 star is too good for this low quality/deceiving store. This place will trick you into paying far too much than the actual price of of the rings or watches! You can always go check most of the neighboring store on 47th str just to make sure you're overpaying! read more

I brought in my Gucci watch because I needed a new battery. The man replaced the battery, but could not close the watch back up. He started using a lot of force with my watch, and decided to use a presser to close it up. He failed miserably. So I took it to another place the same day, and it turns out, you're not supposed to use a presser. He was supposed to take the red band out, put it around the cap and close it back with his hand, NOT using a presser. It also turns out that because he used the presser with so much force, he ruined my watch, incurring even more cost for me. If you don't know a thing about what you're supposed to be doing, especially with a luxury watch, don't be in the business. You ruined my watch and cost me more. read more

No need to walk all the way down 47th -- just go to Dalia! Our experience purchasing an engagement ring setting was flawless. We wandered in off the street with a only a general idea of the setting we wanted, and Natalia immediately sat us down in front of about 100 choices--all beautiful and unique, all worth considering. Over the next hour, she thoughtfully helped us narrow down our options, pointing out the benefits and drawbacks of each design. Finally, we found the perfect one. Dalia had a wonderful selection, and Natalia knew it inside and out. She was the perfect person to help make our vision a reality. read more

I've had an amazing experience with Dalia Diamonds. I searched for my engagement ring for I'd say at least 6 months if not longer. I might have gone thru every diamond retailer in the district, but was never able to find exactly what I wanted, until I came to Dalias'. I ended up buying an amazing diamond, which Brian set for me in a great platinum setting. I couldn't be happier!!! The fact that I got a fabulous deal on the price is great, but also everyone in the store were extremely nice and helpful. The ladies behind the counter are the best!!! I'm looking to buy a pair of earrings and I will definitely make my purchase at Dalias' again. Thanks alot guys!! read more

There are two kinds of people in the world. New Yorkers and everyone else. If you happen to fall into the "everyone else" group and your are in the Diamond District of NY, you are most definitely aware that you are *not* a New Yorker. Buying jewelry is not unlike buying a car: there is always a fear of being taken advantage of. And, even though my husband and I had no real agenda, our guards were up. We went into a few stores, but none felt right. And then we happened upon Brian and Sharon at Dalia Diamonds. We found a piece that I loved. With some (entirely pleasant) back and forth, we landed on a price that felt good to everyone. It is a beautiful piece which I have no intention of ever taking off. The experience was a true pleasure. We got to chatting and mentioned that our son was being Bar Mitzvah-ed and we were thinking about maybe an ID bracelet to mark the occasion. Within moments we were holding samples and giving engraving instructions. Another pleasant experience. When we asked if they knew of a good place to get Kiddush cups they made a phone call and moments later, two beautiful Kiddush cups showed up. Was there no end to what they were willing and able to do for us? The next morning, we pulled up to collect the engraved items and I asked if they might be able to solder something onto my charm bracelet. Ten minutes later, it was done. Brian and his beautiful mother, Sharon are now officially our NY jewelers. They are lovely, honest people who practice exemplary customer service. We would recommend them without hesitation. Thank you for everything, Baruch and Sharon! read more

After shopping the diamond district we decided to stop into Dalia, mainly because they did not have the "hecklers" outside trying to lure you inside anyway possible. Worked with Natalia to design an amazing 2ct engagement ring. Great price, friendly service and most importantly, a stunning final product! The custom build took about 3 weeks and was well worth the wait. Final sizing and stone setting was done in our presence which made it a very unique and memorable experience. Would certainly recommend to anyone ring shopping. read more

I love Dalia Diamonds! Dalia was probably the 6th store I went to while looking to upgrade my wedding and engagement rings last year. I love their non pushy approach so much that this is why I decided to really give them a sale. They are all so nice and their quality of jewelry and selection is AMAZING. They also really take the time to explain the quality of the diamonds and how you can alter the clarity, color and size to fit your budget. I chose the rings back in April 2014 and put them on hold for a few hundred dollars. I said that I would be back in a few months to pay them off. I came back in August (with no question asked when I would be picking them up in between) and offered to pay them a little less to take the rings home that day. They said they couldn't offer an added discount but I could apply through their credit card company for a credit card to pay the $1500 I owed without interest for 6 months. So I did it and took the engagement ring home that day. They fit my diamond and my setting within 30 mins and I was on my way. I had told them I would come back in 2 months to pay for my wedding band but it ended up being more like 6 months and they didn't even bat an eyelid. They didn't call or anything they just kept it to the side with my name on it, half paid for. I came in and gave them the rest of the money to pay for the wedding band and they offered to clean my rings (for free) as often as I would like. I came back in 2 months later after a recent trip home where my sister noticed that the diamonds on both my wedding band and engagement ring didn't match up. I took them back to Dalia and they offered to add another diamond to my wedding band at no extra cost and had me go right up to the jeweler. The jeweler told me it would take an hour and asked if I wanted to wait. I didn't wait but came back a few days later to pick up my perfectly matched wedding band. Their service is TOP notch. I am not really one for service but these guys are OUTSTANDING. They really care and try to give you the best quality for your money. I would hands down recommend them to anyone that is looking for stunning jewelry. I am Australian and I have told all my friends back home about Dalia and i said if they ever make a trip to New York and want to upgrade to go to these guys. True professionals! I will also refer them in future through my wedding brand (XO Brides). Thank you Dalia for making my big purchase as easy and as simple as you could! read more

Wonderful (summary of what I say below) 1. pricing 2. selection 3. Quality 4.. lost diamond policy (1 year later I lost a diamond) I was in NYC last year and was looking for an engagement ring. I was a little nervous to walk into a shop in the diamond district and buy a ring not knowing anything about any of the shops. I decided to try it out and had a budget that was pretty low in mind and the first shop I went to was Dalia and found an amazing ring for an amazing price. They said lots of amazing things about the diamond quality and all that I didn't understand and maybe didn't believe at the time. When I returned home I had a small independent jeweler look at it and he said they were very good quality diamonds, better than I would get from a chain jewelry store, and for a FRACTION of the price!! Now - update a year later - I lost one of the small diamonds in my ring and remembered there was a warranty if they get lost (which cost nothing - at a chain jeweler it would have been hundreds of dollars). The only thing was I had to SHIP my ring to NYC from California. It made me nervous but I insured it (for the appraised value on the certificate they gave me which was MUCH more than I paid). They called and emailed me when they received the ring, putting me at ease and fedex'd it back the SAME DAY fully insured (paid by them). My ring is back on my finger in less than a week with a new diamond and refinished as well! read more

First and foremost, I always say when you are looking for a \"Stone" look for "Trust" fist and this you WILL find at Dalia Diamonds. With the help of Brian, I was able to propose to my gorgeous fiancé with a beautiful rose gold engagement ring with a great 1.2 ct. oval center stone! Great experience. We have made several purchases and continue to refer this business.

The staff is lovely and the ring settings are incredible! I love this place it is our go to jeweler.

I have been to Dalia Diamonds to buy a couple of jewellery pieces. The collection is great and prices very reasonable, but above all the staff is great ! They have never been pushy or pressured us into making a purchase. You go there again, because of the ease of business that they provide. They have been very helpful with our time constraints and issues and have great financing options too ! They showed us great solitaire pieces from the get go. Others shops have a tendency to first try and sell the slightly colored diamonds or extremely flawed diamonds. If you have not done your research about the cut clarity color & carat you could get fooled. But that was certainly not the case here. I would definitely refer this business. It's a great bargain where you will certainly get more bang for your buck. read more

DON'T BUY IF YOU AREN'T LOCAL! Got my engagement ring here 2 years ago. They say they will give you a deal if you make post a good review about them. The don't tell you their diamonds are enhanced until you are about to purchase AND READ THE FINE PRINT AT THE BOTTOM. Also never offered a warranty. They aren't personable and are impatient when you try to negotiate. Ring box is cheap and fell apart after a few times opening and closing it. Broke my ring and I called and sent an email for quote to fix or replace and NO RESPONSE. The next time I visited NYC, I went by and they acted like they were too busy to deal with me and I wasn't a past customer. Told me if I wanted a deal again, I should go somewhere else so that exactly what I did. Bought a new ring locally and don't regret a thing! read more

In this business that it critical to success. I live in Connecticut and believe me it is worth the time to travel and do business with Brian. I purchased my engagement ring and wedding bands from him and had a wonderful experience. He spent the time working with my fiancé and I to ensure we were completely satisfied with our choice and experience. His quality of diamonds and ability to customize and fabricate what you need is second to none. I own a lot of high end jewelry and watches and can attest to the quality he supplied. I had no idea of what to expect the gloomy afternoon I landed in the diamond district with the most wonderful man in the world who insisted on buying me an engagement ring that very day, that very moment. A sea of jewelry stores, some with fabulous inviting windows, some with none, but many with suited men standing just outside the door... less about inviting and more about intimidating. I felt as if we were soon to be surrounded by wolves. How I knew enough to jump onto my app, YELP, I'll never know. But I feel like the reviews of Dahlia Diamonds saved me! I have the most beautiful engagement ring! And I highly recommend Dalia Diamonds. There is something to be said about feeling very safe and also secure when making an investment. Brian was recommended by a friend of mine he bought his wife engagement ring and so did a friend of his. I bought my wife's engagement ring here about 2 years ago and got a great deal. They walked me through the education if the ring and diamond. My wife loved it and I was happy with it. Fast forward to weeks before my wedding i have big hands and was having a hard time finding a ring for myself. Local jewelers were telling me 2-3 weeks delivery and it just wasn't fast enough. I called Brian he told me to stop by and after a 15-20 min conversation he showed me the ring I wanted and told me he would have my ring in 5-7 days. Three days later he called me and said he got it in. Great price great service and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice ring for a great price. read more

My husband had purchased my engagement ring in 2009 when the store was still Milligree Jewelers. Recently the band on my ring split and when I called the store, Brian told me that even tho the store has since changed ownership and is now Dahlia Diamonds, that they would still honor our purchase and the life time warranty, and fix the ring. My husband went to the Dahlia Diamonds today to get the ring fixed. They did an excellent job right in front of my husband and my ring is as good as new now!!
