After checking out my trusty YELP, I came across Jeff. I called and he immediately responded. He said that he had several cars to look at but to text him about my car and situation so that he wouldn't forget about me. Several hours later (which I was fine with), he told me to come the next day at 10 am. When I arrived, Jeff immediately looked at my car and said it was my exhaust system and could need a new one. He said he did not do that but had someone around the corner who could do that. He then hopped on the dolly and looked under my car and said the exhaust must have dislodged when we went through the water puddle. He said he could weld it for us and the charge was only $70. I thought this automotive visit could easily been a big downer for our vacation but Jeff was honest and efficient and made a great experience. If you are on vacation or a native, use Jeff. Brilliantly, she offered they don't automatically replace the rotors -which is a wonderful high profit job for the usual shops, but often not necessary. That was beyond refreshing. This business is a keeper. It's a low overhead shop, so no glitzy outer building and signage, or waiting room (they do have a small spot, complete with a happy dog.) I was able to get an appointment very soon within my availability. The first time I need them to do a full diagnostic of my vehicle. As well as fixing a few present issues. This is on a Thursday. Every shop I called said maybe Saturday or next week. I was panicking! I called Jessie and he kindly agreed to come out after his last job. He arrived around 8 p.m. I had already had my friends take me to get the necessary part. So I thought we were set. Upon removing my tire Jessie found that my wheel bearing hub was bad. He took the time to discuss with me what was wrong and that he recommended that it be replaced. He then agreed to keep working on removing the wheel hub while we ran to Auto Zone, which thankfully had the part in stock and is open late. He then replaced the part and had completed the other repair. It was then about 9:30. Then, despite the late hour and that he looked exhausted he took the time to talk to me about when I got home to make sure I checked the other tires for similar issues. That these things have a way of happening together. He was beyond professional and courteous. I then get the bill and am incredibly happy!! In my area shops usually charge $130 an hour. Jessie is incredibly reasonable. I got fantastic service by a qualified mechanic for a great rate! Plus, he saved the day and I was able to get home for work. I am beyond pleased! Several months ago, I had a vehicle with a tire that had a screw in it that needed to be patched. I…read moretook it to Setos and they informed me that the tire could not be patched. I bought two new tires and asked them to keep the 2 best remaining tires on the back and install the new tires on the front. What happened was they put two new tires on the front and installed the tire that could not be patched on the back along with another one of the original tires. They did not inform me they put the unrepairable tire back on. When I returned a couple of days later to inform them that they put the wrong tire back on, they did not admit anything, refused any responsibility and said the only option i had was to install yet another two new tires. No apologies nor did they claim any responsibility. The most unprofessional place I have ever been to. Incompetent service.
