The owner, Andy, is a sommelier with an extensive knowledge of wines, and is a wonderful source of information. He is very sensitive to a customer's needs, and can recommend a great wine for every taste and budget. They recently began offering some Spanish cheeses and salami, and I wish they would expand on this some more! There is also a small humidor offering cigars; it's built in to the front of the counter, and it's easy to miss. Andy's wife and co-owner Karla is the woman to talk to if you want them to find or carry something new (unless it's wine, and then Andy's your guy). The entire staff is knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. Come in between 4:30-7:00 pm on Fridays for free wine tasting and a little nosh!

They bring the flight out on a paddle with four slots, but only allow three beers, which seemed a little odd. The food was pretty good. We got the buffalo burger, crab dip, and beer cheese soup, and enjoyed everything. The ambience is definitely one of the highlights the brewery is located inside a repurposed firehouse, which makes it a really cool and unique space. Overall, we had a good experience. Service was friendly too. When I asked the clerk about allocated bourbon, he didn't give me that "get out of here tourist" look. But, rather offered up that his drop comes every Tuesday and Friday. Very kind. Minus one star for the LaCrema Chardonnay I bought on sale for $18.99. The metro guy in me is used to scoring this for $13 every day.
