Feb 2026 lost card due to 2 patrons @ outdoor restaurant fighting and tipping 3 high-top tables against railing causing items on table to tip against outer railing and fall onto edge of OHIO River. 1 clutch purse & wallet found 3 credit cards fell into river. Card replaced 1 week later with a minimal credit limit of $810. Took until today to get straight answer and they stated credit score low. Current score is 721 thru Experian Boost!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Many family/friends told me tell "CITI to take a long walk off a short pier"!! Okay I admit the terms looked good at the time. Should have checked YELP. What is it they say "live & learn". Will tell you their customer/call center is out of the country and of the 5 people I spoke with only 2 fairly easy to understand. My bank offered a loan without interest for 12 months to payoff & drop CITI ASAP TA DA !!!!!!!

When you say "hello" there is a slow talking, long introduction ("Hello.......this is Payturst..... calling for your code number shown on your screen..... hit 1 to proceed........more instructions then enter/speak the code on the screen. But you have to wait until the message ends before you can input the code. No way to short cut it by just saying the code. A small thing but.... Death by a thousand slashes! It's a real shame.... There aren't many programs like this that I know of. I had to finally dump it today. Even the cancellation process annoyed me.... I sent a letter and they responded with a letter saying I had to call to cancel. Then I got the operator whose second job is selling timeshares... and he would stop trying to keep me in. Sadly, Run away from this one. BooHoo.

When someone finally came online (Pretty sure they were offshore) I asked a question and she immediately put me back on hold for another 10 minutes without saying anything! When she finally came back online and i explained that I never received the check she said "Well we mailed it". Then she said I should contact the USPS! I asked if it was sent certified mail so I could track it. She said it wasn't. I said then how can it be tracked?! She said I could give them the check # to track it!! I asked to speak to a supervisor but was not allowed to. Finally I hung up and explained the situation online. The check was voided, I was charged $60 for canceling the check, and was told another check would be mailed. I never received that check either! This whole situation has been going on for almost a month! To say I'm upset is an understatement. The latest issue is regarding calling up to have them reset my password. Got one person on the phone only to be transferred to another person who tried transferring me to a third person who handles resetting passwords. Note that I said "tried transferring me to a third person who handles resetting passwords." While I was being transferred to that person, I suddenly got disconnected. It isn't the first time that has happened. My advice is to go instead to the local branches as you will get better customer service.
