I as so concerned I left. I now know she was saying to thin because my finger nails are also a disaster. I'm definitely not a pedicure junky....in fact, I've probably had 4 (now 5) in total. I noticed the Daisy Nails sign as I drove by the Stratham location and that put the thought into my head. so I Yelped pedi's, read some reviews on all of the salons that came up and weeks later decided on a whim to head to Daisy Nails. I will be back. Super clean, not sparsely furnished but tastefully so. There was a problem with the foot basin mechanism at the chair I was sitting in but it was handled professionally by two other staff while my wonderful technician kept workimg without missing a beat. I had the Deluxe and completely enjoyed the cooling masque on my lower legs and then fell in love with the hot towels wrapped around! My feet loom and, most importantly, feel like I've splurged. Looking good is a given, but feeling soft and scrubbed still over 3 hours later is magnificent. I love this place but there is a downside, they didn't round out the edges so I had to do it myself. Another downside is that the Korean women that did my nails was judging my nails. Mind you, I bite my nails without knowing and this was the first time I ever got acrylics. Since I was new at this, I had no idea how the process went. People have said that it hurts because your nail is getting filed down The only thing that hurt me was the blue LED light. I deviated from my preferred salon due to time constraints one day and I definitely regret it. I will start by saying that my classic pedicure was wonderful and the woman was very thorough. However, when I got my shellac manicure done afterwards, it was very rushed, the cuticle care was severely lacking, and it only lasted for 8 days (I think because the polish went sloppily onto my cuticles so started peeling early). I have been getting shellac manicures for a long time and this was definitely the least satisfactory. read more

In a nutshell terrible acrylic set, 9/10 nails broke (while doing normal non-strenuous activity ie. scratching my head) As soon as I sat down in the chair to have my nails done the nail tech had a huge attitude and was incredibly annoyed that I wanted long nails.She made a big deal about it gathering attention of people around me. She had me work with someone else which was fine. I had the new woman remove all of the tips that other lady lazily glued on which were not even straight! The new lady was great and my set looked very nice until I left and paid, went to scratch myself and it hurt. There clearly wasn't enough acrylic on the tip which is why they were so weak and left me with cat like scratch marks. I'm from outta state so had to make my way back home feeling less than satisfied. Two days later 2 nails broke. I was already heading to New Hampshire so figured I'd pop back up there. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Not one of my nails looks like the other, all of the shapes are different, they all look like shit. All of the lengths vary, I was drilled in the skin a few times which hurt! And she dug her nail underneath mine 10 times! The colors were not accurate whatsoever and I had her change one of them. I was charged $35 for a FILL, and a damn shitty one. Some places on the nail are missing nail polish and the nails are very lumpy, clearly not filled enough. She "attempted" to do a leaf design and tried twice before I made her take it off. It looked like her child did it, who was also there by the way, yelling and running around. It was very rushed, and she did a terrible job. I looked right at her and told her I was never coming back. The earlier review was spot on with calling and reserving an appointment - we figured we would be okay given it was in the earlier part of the day and a weekday but we still had a 45 min wait. Went in for a pedicure and was looking around at all the dust all over everything, It was a bad pollen season so I thought maybe they had had the door open or something, Went back a couple weeks later and not only was everything covered in dust but they also had construction tools and such right out on the floor. There was a LOUD horrid sound when they drained the foot baths so I looked around at the other patrons and we all exchanged a "WTF?" look but no one explained what it was to us until I asked. I do not think my foot bath was properly cleaned because I got an infection from an ingrown toenail. I got a mani and there was nail filing dust all over the tech's table. Very cluttered. The older manicurist that I was assigned to yelled across the salon at me that I was taking to too long to pick out a color and then things just went down hill from there. Although the majority of the employees were friendly and helpful, there is one that caused our experience to be less than stellar. Customer service can make or break a business and I would STRONGLY suggest that this company take that in to consideration. Being treated so disrespectfully and made to feel so unimportant is not the way to win over a customer. I'll start by saying that I wish I had read Samantha W.'s first review before going and I wish there was a 0 star option. I went in for the first time for an acrylic removal and manicure. I too, left almost in tears based on the pain that I had from my acrylic removal. I had initially asked for my nails to be soaked off in acetone, the technician said no, she would do it her own way because it would take too long. She then proceeded to USE AN ACRYLIC TIP TO RIP OFF MY ACRYLICS. This caused some of my nails to actually rip off, causing them to be even thinner than they would have had they been soaked off. Additionally, it tore my nail a decent amount into my nailed and bled on my left pointer finger. It wasn't until I refused to let the tech rip off the acrylic that they offered for me to soak my now bleeding, and open wounded fingers in acetone, OUCH!!!!!! My left middle finger was left so thin after the acrylic was improperly removed that it actually put a hole in my nail, which also began to bleed. By the time I had left the salon, I had nail glue and acrylic on one of my nails because it was ripped so far down. I left in a lot of pain, and the technicians I do not feel like did this properly, or respected my request to soak my nails off,t my nails. Finally, after my nails were painted, I was not shown to any type of UV finishing dryer as found in most salons, although I noticed there was one. I was told I should leave, only to have my nails almost all ruined within an hour of leaving because they did not dry with just the tiny fan I sat in front of at the manicure station. Finally, I was under the impression that the $20 included nail removal and a manicure, which typically includes a lotion/hand massage, as well as cuticle cleanup and trimming. Neither of these things were done. By the time I had left the salon, I had nail glue and acrylic on one of my nails because it was ripped so far down. I left in a lot of pain, and the technicians I do not feel like techs did this properly, or respected my request to soak my nails off, which although it would have taken longer, probably would have been almost pain free. I would not recommend going here for any type of acrylic work, both fill, or removal. read more

I have been going to this place for a couple years now. I love bringing my daughter here for girls days, and when I can catch a break after such a busy schedule of being a recording artist and business owner. The most fantastic thing I love is hat Tina is amazing!!! As the owner of the salon she is always making sure I have the most incredible visit. She is awesome! I am treated like a queen!! Kelly and Lisa are exceptional and I recently went in to have sns nails done as well as a parrafin hand wrap and I AM SO HAPPY! My nails and hands have never looked so gorgeous and they are my own nails! I would urge anyone to come to this salon for the most exceptional service ever! Get the new sns nails! Worst nail salon I have ever been too. We had appointments at 1000, when they open. The first employee did not arrive until 10:10. She was alone. Two other people walked in at the same time as us. She had us all sit down and reassured us more employees were on the way. So we waited until 1033 when three more employees arrived. So we were now 33 minutes past our appointment time. The pedicure was horrible, they person did not even massage my feet, he did not wipe all the scrub off. He did not do the same thing to either foot. The polish does not cover my entire toe. Then I had manicure. It came out horrible, no massage, no washing, there are bumps in it. He did not file my nails or do my cuticles. I had to go and get them redone. The place was also disgusting. There were other peoples fingernail clippings all over the place. It was dirty, dusty, you could feel and see the grime in the dryers, the tables and the chairs. There was food out and flies everywhere. So, not only was the customer service horrible, the place is dirty. It should be closed down. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. read more

So basically me(14) and my younger sister (8), went to go get our nails done and made an appointment for 2 regular manicures at 1:30. We get there at 1:25 giving us time to pick out what color we want in time for our 1:30 appointment. Then we wait 20 minutes, it's now 1:50 and we are still waiting. Then this group of three older women walk in, my guess is about 40/45 years old. They hadn't made an appointment, and all wanted pedicures. It's now about 2, a half an hour past our appointment. The three other lady's without appointments, got seated right away. And we are still sitting there, waiting. I finally go over to someone and ask how much longer they think it will be, and she said 5 minutes and pointed for me to go sit back down. But of course those 5 minutes turn into 15. Then I go over and say, we have been waiting here for 45 minutes to get regular manicures that we made an appointment for at 1:30, do you think this will be happening any time soon or should we come back later. At this point my 8 year old sister is losing her mind of boredom. And she said okay okay you can come sit here and pointed to the chair that we sit in to get our nails done. So now i'm thinking that it will be done quickly but 5 more minutes go by, and no one has even come over to me. Now it's about 2:25/2:20. My sister still isn't seated to get her nails done. Finally someone comes over and does my nails extremely badly. #nothappy read more

I loved this place so much. After a little bit of a wait, my technician sat me down asked me about all of my past nail experiences and made my nails beautiful. She was super precise and super sweet as well. The salon was a little messy and could definitely use some TLC, but the outcome was terrific. I am super clumsy and messed one of my nails up while they were drying, and they didn't even question it and fixed it within 5 minutes. I've gotten compliments all day on my set! Do not waste your time or money. The salon was disgusting on the inside, and they had a dog in the salon sitting with the nail techs as they did pedicures. Came here on Saturday. I called to see if they were busy or if there was a wait and they said no so I came by and asked again, they said they could take me right now but I ended up having to wait 40 mins for a pedi and mani!!!! The lady doing my pedicure was the older lady, she asked if I wanted to do a callous remover and I said yes well when I went to pay she said it was another $5 for it.... she didn't even tell me it was extra when she asked me. WORST experience of my life. After they were 30 min late for my appointment they took another woman who came in after me. Then halfway through switched who was doing my nails and the second woman had no idea what she was doing or where to start. Then after because I thought $10 extra for polish was steep the woman started yelling and arguing with me with the worst attitude I have ever seen. No problem but we were on a tight schedule. 15 minutes later two other people who came in after us were seated with a nail technician, including a woman who said she had just called in. If you're looking for good customer service, a friendly environment or your business to be valued, this is NOT the place! From the moment I walked through the door it was awful. First, I felt if they didn't acknowledge me I'd go away. Then they hollered from a back chair (they were sitting in on their phones, not with customers) can I help you? I hollered in front of everyone that I'd like a pedicure, awkward! They hollered back pick out a color. (they never got up) A very unfriendly older women called me over after a spell and if it wasn't for me asking how she was today she never would have spoke to me. She used one word or hand gestures to cue me where to put my feet, half the time I was confused as what she wanted. Pedicures are a necessary evil for me so I am stressed to the hilt during a pedicure. She kept telling me to relax my feet just as previous review was speaking of but they were as relaxed as I could get them. I've never had anyone tell me to relax my feet ever, never mind repeatedly. In any event, when she was done with me she pointed me in the direction of the light to dry and that was the end of any instruction. I sat there for at least 15-20 minutes with another women and we both decided to ask someone if we were done. I think they would have let us sit there for hours to be honest. I took the high road and tipped my manicurist but I will never go back and I will tell everyone I know not to use them. I also questioned the cleanliness as well. It really was that awful! read more

I discovered this place by chance and will become a regular. First of all, the place is clean and decorated in a simple, understated, pleasant way. The staff is exceptionally nice. They remember you, help you to decide what service or color and go out of their way to give a quality experience. I had another place screw up my pedicure and the girl here went out of her way to not only clean up the cuticles and nail beds, she gave such a great polish. Needless to say, great service.
