    Very busy in morning!

Talk about a busy place in the morning! You gotta know it's good when you see many different construction, factory and delivery company employees come to this little, whole in the wall...place! Their breads and pastries are really good. On certain days they have specials on food and drinks.

    Chicken tamale is pretty decent.

I've tried every shady tamale seller in every parking lot I can get my hands on. This place has decent tamales and they're pretty big. They're clean and tasty. Can't wait to go try their tortas

So many hot drinks to choose from....

They were very patient, and kept things moving efficiently even with a steady line of customers. The highlight is their signature Japanese cheesecake. It's incredibly light, fluffy, and subtly sweet that I absolutely love as it melts in your mouth. I ordered 2 of these to go to share with friends and family. I also got a few of their cheese tarts because I like how crispy and buttery their crust is and how rich and smooth filling it contains. My overall feeling of being here is cozy and inviting. Watching the cheesecakes being freshly baked adds to the experience, and the sweet aroma fills the space in the best way possible. Definitely worth the visit if you're in the area.

We ordered the big size, it was ready with enough cookies on top! I just wished we had gotten 2 instead of 1 We did get 4 of the mini cheesecakes, and I was a little disappointed. The outer cookie shell was not flavorful, it was blend, but once you get past that, the filling was one: ube, matcha and regular flavorful were my faves. I was not a fan of black sesame seed, but my daughter liked it! I would come back, but for the bigger cheesecakes!

Since we were short on time, we decided to get our baked goods from here. My parents have been to this bakery several times since the usual go-to bakery Happy Bakery shut down. It was my first time going. This bakery had the usual Hong Kong style baked breads -- BBQ pork buns, dinner rolls, taro bread, egg tarts, sliced bread loaves, etc. There are trays and tongs you can use to hold your baked goods as you shop around. I bought some egg tarts to try. The egg tarts are delicious and probably one of the better ones I've tried. The egg tart crust is made is the same kind that is typically used to make fruit tarts (which I personally like). It isn't flaky or crispy, but does hold it's shape well. The custard is nice and creamy. There is a cake layer between the custard and the tart in some of the egg tarts I ate. The only thing I wish is that there was a bit more custard filling to even out the tart crust. Overall, I'd still come back to fill my egg tart craving, although I'm still on the search for the best egg tart. They have a small area with discounted bread/baked goods (probably from the day before). They accept credit cards and share a parking lot with a market and several smaller shops. There are plenty of parking spots.

Since we just had lunch, we picked up a few sweets like taro pastries (芋頭酥) as well as some little chicken cookies (鸡仔饼). Then we noticed they also had egg waffles (雞蛋仔) and had to order some. It was about a ten- minute wait, and the smells coming from the waffle iron made me drool. Everything tasted great and at a decent price, as well as the fact that the women behind the counter were friendly and welcoming. On top of that, there is plenty of parking at this plaza. Next time I'll give their dim sum a try.

Line moved pretty quickly though and good thing was they continued restocking throughout the day so everything's mostly in stock. They did provide few tables in the venue if you fancied enjoying your pastries straight away like us. We got their Garlic Bird for the cake, the mini croissants, and doubtlessly the egg tarts. The cake was prolly the only one that I thought so-so. Unique flavor with green grape yogurt and taro paste, but just okay in taste. The mini croissants were pretty good for the price. It wasn't like abundantly filled, but certainly not bad for being $2ish esp the salted yolk. The egg tarts should be the reason to come and come back again. Super affordable and the buttery case made them great! The Portugese one was certainly the default one to try but I personally loved the caramel croissant one.
