The arepa was a bit hard, but very overstuffed with steak, cheese and avacado. It was very much worth it for the cost. Service is counter order, they'll bring out your order to the table, but nothing more. It didn't take too long to get my order and was reasonable. They provide you with a carrier that has several sauces, so if you're a saucy person, there are a lot of options.

We opted for said patio seating, as the haze of hella fried food was too strong in the restaurant. When we walked in my husband (who's in food service management) immediately remarked on how they need to install or replace their grease trap/filter. There was a slight greasy film over everything, especially on the windows. Fingerprints/smudges everywhere. There was very little cleaning done. The general vibe of the restaurant is confusing. We weren't sure whether they gave table service or not as we saw others receiving it, but hubz had to go in and grab our food. I also want to note that it took 5ever for them to produce the little appetizer we got, which was a simple arepa sampler platter. And the quality just wasn't there to me. It was okay, but it wasn't anything that wowed me and I wanted to be wowed based on the reviews. The fillings themselves felt like plain ole' bagged mozzarella and unflavored Publix deli meat. We would have ordered more had this experience gone differently.

I reserved/ordered a cake on 03/24/2026 to be picked up on 03/26/2026 @ 9:00am (Today). When I ordered the cake I wanted something large enough that could give approximately 20 people a decent enough piece of cake to eat. The guy taking the order said a 10" cake is not shown in the display but it would probably be enough for 20 people. There was literally no special instructions, special messages or deviations from the same design that was in the display case. I asked if two days was sufficient time for this cake to be made and ready by 03/26/2026 at 9:00am to which he replied "the staff comes in at 3:00am and since it's two days it will be enough time". I paid and left. The morning of pickup (Today) approximately an hour before pickup time they called me from an unknown number several times and when I didn't pick up they texted me. They claimed they didn't see my order until this morning and that I needed to provide a week's notice for the type of cake I ordered (In direct conflict with what I was told on the day I ordered it). They then offered to push my pickup time back 3 hours and "try" to have it ready by then or give me a 7" cake and a 9" cake instead. After they messed up and didn't provide what I ordered in the first place, it's safe to say I didn't have much faith left in either of the alternatives they offered nor their word. I opted for a third option, my money back. This cake was supposed to be for a 96 year old grandmother's birthday and her friends. But never mind that, there's always next year, right? Potential customers be warned and make absolute SURE you VERIFY with whoever you're ordering about WHAT you're ordering before spending any money here. Edit: I will extend an olive branch and give one star back because they addressed the mistake and maintained communication in a professional manner.

But it wasn't like that at all. I had never been before, even though I've passed it so many times. I finally decided, "Let me just try it." The cashier was really nice and explained how everything worked. I asked her what her favorite salad was, but instead of going with her recommendation, I trusted my instincts and built mine based on the ingredients that stood out to me. I ordered the Polynesian chili mango salad with mint and added grilled shrimp. I wasn't a huge fan of the shrimp, but the salad itself was so good that I still ate the whole thing. The flavors were layered and intentional. Not generic, not bland. I love when salads don't taste like an afterthought. What really impressed me was the hot sauce bar. That blew me. They had multiple hot sauces, and as someone who's basically a hot sauce connoisseur, I appreciate that because different hot sauces pair better with different foods. That detail alone elevated the experience. The space was big, clean, bright, and full of color. It felt fresh. Overall, I was genuinely impressed. I definitely want to go back and try the other salads.

I booked a tea party lunch session on the weekend with my friend, and we both had a wonderful experience. They also accommodate a vegan menu for tea party bookings. Our names were printed on the menu, which was a very nice touch. There is a large collection of teas to choose from, along with a detailed menu. They let you smell the teas from a tea tray, which helps a lot when choosing the one you like. The staff explained each tea and recommended flavors based on our personal tastes. They also introduced and explained the sweet and savory items on the menu. We had panda tea and hibiscus tea. The sweet and savory tea party lunch set was delicious and represented Indonesian desserts well. We enjoyed the savory items more than the sweet ones, but we loved the great variety of desserts. We especially loved the presentation. Everything came together to create a lovely experience and a wonderful girls' hangout time. The place is quaint and cute. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Her posture while pouring tea was very elegant. It happened that the weekend we chose was right before Valentine's weekend, so the restaurant was not too crowded, which was a plus for us. However, their lunch party sessions are normally fully booked and busy, especially on weekends. You should definitely call and book ahead if you want to experience this lunch tea party. 12/10 highly recommend this experience, especially for girls' dates. I will come back to try other à la carte items from the menu.

I'm not sure what she ordered but I of course had to get a kaya toast with pandan and bajigur. My order came out super fast and I couldn't wait to get in the kaya toast. The toast was delicious but quite messy to eat since the butter was melting fast. The bajigur was very ginger heavy but had a nice sweetness and addition of coconut milk. The employee said I could ask for less ginger next time! Overall, I'm impressed with this place and would love to try more Indonesian treats! They also serve brunch on the weekends now.

The chicken is smokey and juicy! My kids really enjoyed the mie ayam bakso. The noodle is very thin, the chicken is chunky and so flavorful. The bakso is also homemade, not store bought. It's also come with fried wonton a.k.a pangsit goreng. We also try their empek2, batagor, and kwetiau goreng. It's so so in my opinion. I'm really disappointed with batagor. The tofu is stuff with so little fish paste and it's super dry. It's also come with pangsit goreng which have very little chewy meat on the inside. The peanut sauce is very sweet and over powered the whole dish. It's self service restaurant where you get your own drink and utensils including napkins. There was no sign in the front of the restaurant which made it hard to find, but it is there. The staff are friendly and willing to explain each item on the menu. We got the Martabak Telor, Mie Goreng Ayam/Baso/Udang, and Nasi Udik Komplit. The Martabak Telor was a flaky savory pastry that had beef, onion, scallion, and spices. It kind of tasted like an Indian samosa. Pretty solid. The Nasi Udik Komplit was a well balanced meal with carbohydrates, protein, and vegetables. The fried chicken was more tender than I thought it would be, which was a pleasant surprise. I kind of wish it was crispier, but maybe that is not the style for Indonesian cooking. The spicy egg and the perkedel (potato patty) tasted good too. I was not a fan of the coconut rice as I do not like coconut (I got this dish as I wanted to try what was part of it, specifically the perkedel). Overall, I thought the food was alright. With this being my second time having Indonesian food, I think my picky taste buds are still adapting to Indonesian cuisine and spices. It is clear that many people love this place and their food, so take my review with a grain of salt. I would give this spot a 3.5/5 stars if I could.

They have their own parking lot so there is ample parking so once I turned, I hopped into a park and we headed inside. Three Buddies has a simple decor as the design aesthetic is straightforward and leaves the focus on the restaurant name itself. The restaurant was very clean and had a diner style setup with ample seating. Once seated, the waitress approached us with a warm smile and cheerful greeting. She provided us with menus, took our drink order, and allowed us some time to review the menus in full. With a variation of halal items on the menu, Three Buddies had me wanting a little bit of everything. However, I decided to go with a classic approach and get the Chicken Sandwich (fried) with Onion Rings (both well done). Once our order was placed, it was back to the enjoyment of the ambiance as we engaged in our conversation. When our food arrived at the table, the visual presentation was extra enticing.
