Just your classic good ole burger joint. Everything is always good. I love stopping here before we head to the drive in theater or just if we are passing through. The onions rings are always a fav and of course a cheeseburger. The prices are good, it's family friendly and everyone is always kind.

Everything I need and nothing extra; perfect.

A few of the burger chains do pretty good, but it is hard to beat small-town pride! Daisy Queen has been serving good food in AR for over 50 years, and they are worth a stop! Extensive menu for a burger joint; I stuck to the basics. Cheeseburger w mustard, crinkle-cut fries w ketchup, drink w my meal - and a chocolate malt for dessert. Yumm! If you are an American fan; you must eat here. Imagine the pride of being a cheerleader at a highschool football game, crossed w a small-town 4th of July parade - in the form of food. This is it.

Stopped by on our way to LittleRock airport to get some treats. Reminds me of a throw back frosty freeze from California. Their ice cream menu is pretty endless and they have just about anything you could want when it comes to ice cream. Banana Split was pretty legit. Funnel fries were awesome and you can order with different fruit flavored dipping sauces. Probably about a million calories. We ordered a burger, fries, corn dog and chili cheese dog and all were pretty classic tasting. Chili cheese dog was a bit on the cold/soggy side. By brother and law said the burger was very tasty. Nice little quick stop joint and you can tell they are popular as there were plenty of cars and line outside. Building and dining was a little on the tires side but I don't think people visit for the atmosphere

We passed Daisy Queen on our drive further south, and literally turned around to go back and try it. This town didn't seem to have a lot of local spots open, and this place was hoppin'. We decided we would rather support Daisy Queen than a fast-food or franchise chain.  You could either order outside at the window, with a few picnic tables under umbrellas outside, or you could order inside and see the full menu and sit inside with several booths. The menu looked great, with your normal smatterings of burgers, hot dogs, milkshakes, chilli, etc. There was a section on the menu named something like "Other Things Of Interest" which I found to be humorous and cute. They also had a pineapple shake on the menu that I should have tried (reminded me of my hometown local drive-thru).  We ended up ordering two cheeseburgers and a butterscotch milkshake. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and fast. Our food was good and fresh, but it seemed to me like the hamburger patty was missing some seasoning. The butterscotch milkshake was somewhat disappointing. It tasted more like a vanilla shake.  Overall, I'm not sure if I'd ever stop by again, maybe if we're driving through again. However, I'm very glad we stopped here to support a local business. It was definitely better than a fast-food chain restaurant!

Cute place just be ready to wait. The menu has a variety of items so plenty to choose from! Food was cold but good.

There are out of the way restaurants that are truly destinations to visit. Then there are fast food places that have something really special about them. This Daisy Queen is a combination of those 2 types. It is a destination with a lot of special going on! It is next to a scenic overview of a valley. It is a long looking building of stone and brick work with a large bricked in outdoor seating area. The small round windows were interesting designs on the long stone covered side! There were festive Christmas decorations covering the posts. I assumed the ownership are University of Arkansas fans with the large razorback image as you walk by the seating area. The entry way allows you to order from the window or come on inside and order. We went in since it was raining. I fell in love with the menu as well as the old style yellow menu board. It isn't the typical dairy type fast food restaurant. They had all kinds of options! I listened to patrons in front of us and behind us rave on and on about what they had last time and what they wanted to try this time. Funny, as it actually sounded like some of the previous reviews! (Maybe these people were eating there again?) I just wanted a snack so we shared a BLT and a couple of Heath Bar Freezes. As I was waiting on the sandwich, I toured the place enroute to the restrooms. It was exceptionally clean and had the fresh smell of cleaner in the restroom and hall. This place has a large game room and a family were shooting pool and playing on one of the arcade games. The BLT had fresh crisp cold iceberg lettuce, juicy ripe tomato slices and crisp smokey bacon on well toasted bread slathered in mayonnaise. The freeze was full of Heath Bar pieces and very high quality dairy freeze ice cream. I actually felt jealous of the locals as they could come here way more often than I could. My next time, I'm in for the Deluxe Taco Salad!

    Cheeseburger

The cheeseburger is just like the ones I had growing up; it just has that taste. The taco salad is delicious especially with melted cheese and sides of sour cream and salsa, but if you want "salad" this is not it. The "salad" has a few small shreds of lettuce plus a couple of tomato bites. It's more like nachos... . The beef is well seasoned and warm, contrasting nicely with the cold sour cream. I would definitely eat here again.

    Fried Twinkie sundae! Delicious.

We've driven by this place many times on our drive to Little Rock and it always looked busy. We finally stopped by today after yet another trip to Little Rock, and I am glad we did! The menu is really large, and everything is really cheap. My fiancé and I had lunch for $18 which includes taco salad (weighed a ton!), small order of tots, a Colby Jack honey mustard chicken sandwich, and a fried Twinkie sundae. It was delicious and hit the spot! Service was a little bit slow, nothing outrageous, but it showed me they cooked everything fresh to order. My favorite part was that the cashier didn't make our sundae with our meal, so it wouldn't melt! That was super nice of her. All around, it's a cute place with surprisingly good food! And there's something for everybody. We'll be making a stop here when we can!

My favorites are the bacon jam burger and the fried mushrooms! Fun place to go for ice cream and to hang out and play pool with a friend.

Waited almost 20 minutes for our order and the food came out lukewarm at best. They were busy, but not THAT busy.

Never disappoints! A gem you pray stays around for more generations to enjoy. Beats all the chain fast foods for burgers and fries.
