They sell pretty much the same kind of items a typical dollar store would, cheap tools and random supplies. The good thing is that they also sell the typical decent cheap but decent actual headphones for $4 and random cables that you couldn't usually find at Dollar Tree due to the prices. So in terms of electronics, these Dollarama is definitely a good place to go to. But at the end, this place is pretty much no more no less just another Dollaram, so if you've been to one before, it's pretty much the same.

From rugs to water guns, mirrors to Mars bars, you never know what you're going to find. On my most recent visit we found a North face t- shirt for $8 & Eddie Bauer lounge pants for $12. Lots of snack food, breakfast foods and drinks at discount prices. If you go in hoping to get something in particular, I'm afraid you will likely be disappointed. If on the other hand you're just looking for bargains, this place is hard to beat. Keep your wits about you and you'll do well here - just be sure to check the expiry dates as some items are closer to expiry than others.

It is metered parking on the side street and prices are upwards from $1 to $20, but the items are nicer. They don't have as much food items as other dollar stores, but they have quite a selection on the themes that they do have.

The area is very dirty and not well maintained. Once in the store the shelves are very high and narrow. It is a very overwhelming feeling if you are sensitive to small spaces/claustrophobic. The amount of items in there is very overwhelming as well. I didn't stay long and mostly stuck to the snacks and candy. They have a large area near the check out that has candy, gum etc. Purchased an aero bar, coffee crisp, kit kit and toffee candy bar. For 4 candy bars (I either didn't get a receipt, didn't take it or lost it but it was $4.07 USD. There were 3 self check outs and one staff there to check out as well. Saw employees in aisles but only one at registers. Overall it was an underwhelming and overwhelming experience and I would not go out of my way to go back if in the area.

We were not even here for 10 minutes when we were kicked out because touching our pockets automatically means we stole something. When I tried to explain we did not steal anything and that i was pulling out my phone from my pocket, they wouldn't let us speak and kicked us out without letting me finish. We were not doing anything suspicious and they were incredibly rude the entire time. I was simply trying to answer a text from my mother and I suppose having two minors there for around 4 minutes is suspicious. So suspicious that we should have been kicked out. 0/10. I also don't appreciate attitude, from the store manager when I want to exchange the item that fell apart before I, actually, got to use it. I bought three kitchen hand towels at the Dollar Tree on the corner of Knight St and Kingsway in Vancouver on March 3, 2026. I read the instructions on each towel which said 'wash before first use', which I did. When I laundered the towels, two of them were fine but the third one was fraying badly. I took that kitchen hand towel back to the Dollar Tree location mentioned above a few days later so within the same week. I expected the cashier to have the manager, a young woman that day, come to the counter to deal with me which she did. I showed the manager the towel. Then I heard the young female manager say, under her breath to the cashier, "What do you expect." As I said at the beginning of this piece, I expect better than that towel and better than attitude, from the store manager. In the end the young store manager did allow me to exchange the towel which is all I wanted but she could use a serious attitude adjustment. I don't usually shop at that location, and chances are highly unlikely that I'll ever shop there again.

It's definitely much smaller than most other similar stores, but they have the essentials, and they also do helium balloons, including the big metallic letters/numbers. I don't shop here often, aside from the aforementioned balloons, which I got for my wife's birthday, and they dutifully wrote my name down along with the day I'd need to pick them up. Other purchases have included random stuff like pop, batteries, etc. The reason I'm giving them five stars is because the older Korean couple running the store are some of the sweetest people you could ever hope to meet. They're so nice, I want to buy stuff I don't need just to give them business. Always friendly and helpful, and they apologized to ME because I tried to use my card to pay for something that was only a couple dollars but store policy is $3 and over. I gladly grabbed an LED flashlight and a Coke Zero to make it up. This shop is the definition of friendly mom and pop store.

I thought it was pretty decent for a dollar store , although it was a little bit small. The "dollar store" doesn't seem to be a literal thing anymore, as a lot of items were over a dollar. However, they had some more useful stuff than I usually see at a store like this one. They had some useful office supplies, Pyrex pie plates, and "acceptable", though probably not long lasting, looking cookware. I actually bought a couple small things there that I had been meaning to pick up at the hardware store. The most expensive thing I saw was a drying rack for $28. This seemed like a pleasant store to me and, bonus, it doesn't have the overwhelming smell of plastic. I am still thinking I need that glass pie plate. The area does not seem "touristy", but this store did have a selection of postcards and very small gifts (magnets, patches, pencils, postcards).

I was looking for some cheapo hand tools and the selection isn't the greatest. Also the aisles are a bit on the narrow side. Guess they were trying to cram in 1 more row of goodies. There is a security guy planted right at the exit. I feel bad for him. How would you ever catch a shoplifter here? Random piece of trivia: this place used to be a Blockbuster video store. The employees here that I've bumped into over the years had usually been pretty friendly. The only thing I'd change is that they do a preemptive strike on the price by raising it dramatically, like up to $3 right now. Reason is because due to inflations, I'm sure that its almost next to impossible to find the items they wanted that they could sell for $1.50, which is as of February 2022, the price they're starting to sell some of their items for. So might as well get ahead of this thing, but also the other reason is because by raising the price up a bit, it also will allow them to provide a much more selections of items. Like better selections for canned food or other foods. Regardless, its pretty fun to walk around in there to find any potential treasure or good bargain (many items aren't, but still,.... Doesn't negate the notion that it's still fun to look around in.). If not, then just grab a cheap drink and not be thirsty afterwards regardless if you were shopping for hidden bargains here or not.
