I like the store because I found Knick knack here or there that I can use but what's up with the charges on paper bag? First of all they are not even a grocery store so they should not charge even for bags. On top of that state law requires 10 cents charge but they charge 20 cents. Daiso, if you want to make money on bags, why don't you build the price into the products instead grouching people on 20 cents bags when you are not even a grocery store. I will never shop here again. Not worth it!! read more

If you need any house supplies to school and craft supplies they have it all here for $1.50! unless price as marked on the items. Funny thing it's a Japanese store but most of the items are made in China. read more

Daiso - They have green tea picky snacks for $1.50 - Discount Store Near Me - San Gabriel, California

Hours posted is till 9pm. Arrived 20 min before and they already have the fence down. Asked associate and they said that they close at 9, then why is fence down and they aren't allowing anyone in? I really like the place but... Lesson learned- come earlier because they don't let you in pretty much 20 min or maybe earlier before they close. read more

Great place to shop for cheap stuff. A lot of things you think you will not find, you will end up finding. This place even gets new stuff a least once a year. read more

I cannot believe that there is a Daiso in the lobby of the Focus Shopping Center. It is a prime location for this store as it is conveniently adjacent to all the other Asian shops including a 99 Ranch Market and that 5 star restaurant right above Daiso. For a store that opened on Chinese New Year's in 2014, it was kept in mint condition. The workers there were particularly friendly. This Daiso store had lots of room to maneuver around unlike some of the other Daiso stores that I have been to around the neighborhood. It seems like Daiso is doing a massive expansion across Southern California which is a good thing. read more

Cheap and cute! That's good enough for me! Everything here is $1.50 unless otherwise marked. They carry a variety of snacks, kitchen appliances, dish ware, and home goods. I particularly love the Asian stationary and desk items as well as the gift wrapping/gift box selection. This store is basically an Asian girl's dream. I wish there was one closer to downtown LA! read more

Everything is so cheap and cute here! It was also really organized which I loved. Went through the whole store in almost an hour and left satisfied. read more

Prior to this visit, I had only visited the Daiso in Monterey Park. That one is incredibly crowded. The second I stepped into this location, I was so happy to see that it's a bigger store with more space to maneuver. We were in the market for slippers. We've received complaints from friends & family about the painful slippers we provide at our house. The people have spoken, so the administration is doing something about it. Bought a bunch of slippers in a variety of colors. We also bought a couple sauce dishes and a peach hi-chew! All we do is win, win, win! read more

Didn't know they had this place in this plaza and I'm use to going to the one in the bay area up north. This spot was clean and everything was organized so well. I actually thought I was in Japan LoL.. If you didn't know you know now.. everything in this spot is 1.50 dollars unless mentioned/tagged. You can get all sorts of things you never thought about for the house/yard/auto like air fresheners, cookie cutter, pens, hats and etc.. If you have time to waste you can spend a lot of time just walking around while you wait for somebody that's shopping at another spot in the plaza. You've been warned.. you will end up buying something you probably don't need.. LoL read more

Daiso - Discount Store Near Me - San Gabriel, California

Hello my Yelpies, I've actually been to this location of Daiso many times. The parking is very convenient because it is right next to 99 ranch market, and there are many parking spaces in front or even under ground. Daiso is probably one my favorite place to shop for the most random stuff. They are pretty much just like 99 cents store or dollar tree but with more Asian variety. I went there yesterday to see if i can buy a quick apron just so I can bake some cupcakes and I was happy to see that they even have 4-5 different choices for me and all for $1.50 each. I would definitely suggest this place if you need anything fast and quick. It might not be the best quality but for $1.50 I must say it is pretty decent. I get a lot of my kitchen ware here. Not like pots, pans or knifes but other little stuff. I like how they have many different Variety of colors to choose from. Overall, service 3 stars, environment, 4 stars, items 3 stars, and atmosphere 3 stars. Will come back again. read more

It seems like daiso is sprouting out everywhere in the 626 lately! But I`m not going to complain! This new daiso is the biggest one around 626 I`ve seen! It has so much more stuff than the others! I don`t know how I can explain it better than ongoing aisles of stuff. They have everything! From kitchen, gardening, room deco, to makeup. They even have a really big plastic bottle of ramume for $1. Everything is super adorable and cute! Even tho almost everything is $1.50 I would not be able to leave the store with less than $15 of goods. Please note that everything is a final sale and that they do not do refunds or exchanges. read more

I consider Daiso to be on the higher end of the dollar store. In fact, things are mostly $1.50 here. Exceptions are marked. There are rows and rows of knick-knacks but the number of practical items surprises me. Plus, the quality of the item is better than the regular 99-cent stores. You can find things like dishes and other kitchenware that look like they should cost more. From housewares to even food items, it's an interesting store to visit. read more

This is a great place to get items for cheap and pretty decent quality. Just remember that their items change and each Daiso has a different selection than others. read more

Love this place for stationary products, first time here and I spent $50 bucks but in exchange got 32 items! Not bad! Careful though your cart will add up when you pile up dozens of $1.50 items, doesn't seem like much at first but then you just get carried away! Fair warning :) great business trick though! Everything is cute and I couldn't resist stocking up! read more

Everything here is 1.50 ! Some items are 1 dollars and others are 3 but everything is below 5 dollars for sure. This place sells everything too from dog food to ankle weights to iPhone accessories. A great place to shop and see if there's anything you need! read more

Great place to find cheap household items. Same concept as 99 cent store but everything is $1.50. Good quality stuff. Layout is the same as the MPK and TC stores. All sales are final! read more

A little Daiso shop to complete my day out in a plaza full of Asian Cuisines. After visiting the local dimsum restaurant upstairs my family and I headed to Daiso to grab little things here and there. I headed straight for the tools department which actually fascinated me. Tools at this branch were plentiful and there was so many to choose from! Recently my steering wheel needed a distinct screw with 5 points and I have been too lazy to search my entire house to find one. I found a set of it with different sizes all for a price of $1.50! So I grabbed myself one of those and saw an assorted screw driver, bought it just in case I had to use it on the road. And then I found a pocket knife which had a corkscrew at the end, you know for those days I have an impromptu wine craving when I'm not home. Then as I was leaving, to put the cherry on top, they had my car battery right there for the price of $1.50! I have bought the Duracell one for like $10 at Pepboy once when my remote alarm stopped working. This place was awesome! The battery was a 2016 Mitsubishi brand. read more

The stuff is really cool, I highly recommend coming in and trying it out. Thank you so much for the great service will come

There is an Asian mini-mart right next to 99 Ranch Supermarket, and most people come here for two things: dim sum and Daiso; I came for the latter. As a big lover of this Japanese-y dollar store chain, this location is literally, LITERALLY the smallest one I've ever been to in my entire life. Go to the ones in Monterey Park, Temple City, or even Irvine, and you'll see what I mean. Stocking the typical hygiene products, kitchenware, and craft supplies to name a few, I did notice a much more limited inventory *cough no shower curtains cough* due to its smaller size. Definitely still a nice place to walk around in if you want to pick up some basic essentials or you're trying to prevent some self-induced food coma from settling in after eating too much har gau! read more

Wanna buy cheap asian goods? This is the place. It had so many things that I didn't even know was available. Random things. I went thinking I wasn't going to buy a lot cause I didn't want to have to check additional luggage. Just kidding. Too late. So many things that I can't find anywhere else. Definitely worth checking out when in the area. You will find something you like. FYI, all sales final. read more

By far the worst daiso. We had our 18 month old with us and she wanted some chips. I was still shopping so my husband opened it and gave her a chip. Because he did not look like a model citizen (tattoos on his arms) the manager rushed over and told a male employee to tell him that we have to pay for it right away. There was a sign posted that says no opening food or drinks and if we do, you must pay for it. Well...duh. We're going to pay for it when I'm done shopping. They said, you have to pay for it now because we don't know if you're going to pay for it or not. It's a $1.50 man. Super offended and will never go back here again. read more

i love daiso tysm for making this shop exist because i'm super broke so this is basically where i can get my stuff from. the things are SO CUTE & ofc everything is affordable $1.50. some items are a bit low quality but it's alright since it's cute. 5 star read more

-1 Star: No returns or exchanges. CC is $10 minimum. Don't come here on the weekends unless you like loud Asians yapping around the store and bumping/pushing you without saying excuse me. Other than that, this store has the most friendly customer service ever. read more

I don't know if it's just me, but every Daiso store I go to seems to carry different products that I can't find at other Daiso locations (which is a good/bad thing). This location seems to be relatively new, as it is very clean and easy to navigate. With that said, what's there not to love about Daiso? $1.50 for everything (unless otherwise marked) - I'm not complaining! This store sells virtually everything - from everyday goods such as silverware, stationary, and storage containers - to random little finds such as origami paper and ipod car chargers. Daiso is heaven for bargain hunters like me so drop by for a visit if you haven't already! read more

Daiso is great and definitely one of the best stores to get your things on the cheap side but this location is plagued by its location.. Located in the lovely (sarcasm) and forever packed (not sarcasm) Focus Plaza of San Gabriel is a curse for anyone trying to run in and grab a few things. Focus Plaza is one of busiest shopping centers in the area and homage to 99 Ranch Market and a bunch of other restaurants and stores. Trying to find parking in this place is like driving in an obstacle course navigating through moving objects you need to be constantly looking out for. This Daiso is one of the smaller ones in the San Gabriel Valley and I noticed a good 1/4th of the store was understocked and disorganized. If you are in a rush and the store is even remotely busy you will be in for a wait because there are only two cashiers for the store. The best location in the area would be the one in Atlantic Square. (Not to be confused with the one in Atlantic Times Square being a totally different hell-hole) read more

Cute store. They have everything + more! I loved it! And yes I walked out with 12 products totaling $25. Beauty, crafts, snacks. The people were very polite! I will be back soon! Only downfall, snacks aisle was kind of empty by 4pm. Meh, no big deal. read more

I usually come to this Daiso after dim sum with my family.....just like everyone else that comes here. This daiso is situated on the first floor of a four story building in a very very busy plaza. The fourth floor is a dim sum restaurant that is incredibly popular so naturally, people come and walk around daiso after brunch. It's a decent daiso but smaller than a lot of the daisos i've been to. read more

Never buy their umbrellas there! It broke when I opened it at home, didn't even get to use it for one second. Their return policy is "All Sales are Final", which means there is no return policy! I learned my lesson, do not purchase anything that involve some manual mechanism at Daiso because they use the cheapest and thinnest material that can put together, but won't last! read more

Can complaint about the products but the employee??? So rude and dont have manners. You know... when people called and u guys put them on hold u dont hang up on them! U answer!!! ... coz somebody is waiting on the other line. Because someones time is being wasted too. Once maybe ur too busy, then 2× time probably an accident. But 3×??? Not because im on the phone u wont consider me a customer. Pls train ur employee. read more

A cool store, but this one is rather small and limited in its merchandise! This a neat place with cute and cheap things to offer!

Biggest Daiso I've been too and you always find what you need at this particular location. Love it!!!

This place is awesome. The prices are incredible cheap and the quality of the goods are excellent and the people who work there are very helpful. Forget about other 99c stores, this is the place to go. read more

Noice. I came from San Jose to eat with my family from L.A. in this plaza. Just so happens theres a Daiso here. Anyways I work at a Daiso in Milpitas and I was just stopping by to see the store. cheap place to buy cheap stuff as long as you dont mind the quality, friendly staff

This is my nearby Daiso store and I love it! So many interesting things! Cute objects supplied with things I never thought I needed. However, the downfall of it all is that they never really restock their beauty supplies like the lip liners and all. Or they are all opened and used. They don't have testers for each color and it bothers the heck out of me! I once bought a few there but when I got home they were all used and one didn't even have any product in it! There is a no return policy, and I understand because it's only at such a deep price, but at least work on your quality! Have testers out for these products so people don't go around opening the actual products! read more

Nice store. Lots of stuff. The one in LA has a lot more stuff though. But its still pretty good.

Loved this place as you find lots of things from Japan here that are not found at any of the stores we have in Hawaii. Go figure huh, Hawaii's closer to LA and we have more Japanese tourists. Anyways loved it, at loved the $1.50 sale on most things in the store. read more
