Shopping in San Gabriel, California... I saw photos of yellow Line Friends characters from Ken K. and Irene M. and had to go look at those plushies at Daiso! Why are Cony (bunny), Brown (bear), and Choco (Brown's sister) yellow in color? Because rascal Sally (the chicken) is playing around! These are really cute in person... I justified buying the Cony pillow for my back pain. As for the other purchases... well... Honolulu and Pearl City won't get them for a while and when they do, they'll be sold out by the time I get to the store! I was just going to get those items when I thought that I should take a look around the store. I had free parking in the shared lot. The store was clean and spacious! I walked quickly through the pet supplies, dishes, kitchen gadgets, and office items. I got some BT21 stickers and lucky red envelopes! That's enough! Some items were more than $1.75 each! Haha! Thanks to the young man at the check-out counter. He was pleasant and friendly!

Honestly, one of the best Daiso in the surrounding area. Service Workers are always busy but are very helpful if you are looking for a specific product. Selection One of the best selections I've seen in the tons of Daiso I been to. It's always stocked and it's my go to location. If you're on Daiso TikTok and you see the latest licensed character products go viral, this should be your first stop. Value What used to be a Japanese "Dollar" store, it's still reasonably priced for the items with the price increase for everything nowadays. There are some "premium" selection that will cost more than $1.75 (as marked). There are tons of conversion/price charts throughout the store. I mean you shouldn't expect much for something at this price. Parking Unless I really crave something or need to purchase items from Daiso, I don't really like coming to this plaza. There are few lucky times I get quick parking. I rarely see the parking filled to the brim unless it's like a holiday or early Sunday for the dimsum patrons. Few of my friends and family members have had their cars broken into in this lot. There is an abundance of Tesla Superchargers, but rarely see an empty spot.

11/16/23 FYI, mall entrance closed. Must enter from outside

Quality/Quantity - Got another travel brush. Inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. Atmosphere - One of their smaller locations. Their mall entrance was closed; use the almost hidden exterior front entrance. Neat and organized. Plenty of mall parking. Open 7 days a week from 9am to 9pm, and on Sundays from 10am to 8pm. Service - Self service. No return or exchange policy. Typical, for "dollar" stores. Also typical that NOTHING is a dollar anymore... Price - My travel brush cost $2. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1977 and with 5500+ worldwide locations.

Most stocked and I think biggest Daiso store in the SGV 626 area? They have multiple staff. You can call to check a sku number to see if your item is in stock. I've been to over 3 Daiso and this store had 5 of the cotton containers I wanted! I use them to store Qtips too

One of the nicer Daisos that we have visited, this Daiso is located inside San Gabriel Square. Because the mall is so empty, there is a lot of available parking for Daiso customers. We needed to kill some time before our dinner, so ended up slowly walking each aisle, picking up many things with the thought "We need that!" I guess we will see...

This is one of the bigger Daiso that I have been to. It's in the same plaza as the 99 Ranch Market across from the Hawaii Supermarket. The parking lot can get full quickly, so it's better to go in the morning. This bigger Daiso has a lot more variety and selection of household items. And service was very good, too.

I love daiso and this one isn't much different from others. Prices are good, ended up picking up a few essentials for cheap. Reasonably clean and had a decent selection of goods. Bags are now 22 cents each!

Came to daiso and I wanted to note how nice the employees are here! The cashier complimented my nails and was so sweet. The store was also sooo clean! It was spacious and things inside was so organized. I wish the normal locations were more clean like this store! The employees are hard workers and deserve a raise.

I love the fact it's so close by! It's very clean inside. They have a great selection of small dishes. I would totally recommend this place for a quick stop or if you're like me, a slow stroll to look at everything! They have everything to make your life a bit easier. And these days it's nice to have affordable things, while so many dollar trees and 99cent stores are all closing down. The stockers and cashiers are sweet and knowledgeable.

8 May '23-11:00-Best selection of any Daiso I've ever been in. Lots of nice crockery. I also got some cool slippers and aeroplane pillow for my neck. A must stop when in the San Gabriel Valley.

    09/04/21. $3 per bag.

Visited today, Saturday, 09/04/21. I've been to this Daiso pretty often before the pandemic; this is the first time visiting during the pandemic. This is like an Asian Dollar Tree except the items are not $1. However, whatever it is that you need, it is most likely in Daiso! Kitchen accessories, sandals, school supplies, snacks, you name it! This location is located in a plaza, close to 99 Ranch!

On my first visit, I stopped at the Target snack bar for something quick. There was no visible sign indicating that the food counter was not operating normally. I stood there waiting before eventually noticing a piece of paper lying flat on the counter telling customers to order through Starbucks. By then, the Starbucks line had more than 10 people in it and appeared to be staffed by only two employees. After waiting another 10+ minutes, I finally got to the register and asked for popcorn, only to be told, "We're not making it today." Apparently they were only serving the Pizza Hut items that had already been prepared. That would have been completely understandable if there had simply been a clear sign saying what was and was not available. Instead, I wasted time waiting at one counter, then waiting in a long Starbucks line, just to find out the item was not being offered. On my second visit, less than two weeks later, the Target food counter actually had a separate employee working it. There were even multiple bags of popcorn visibly sitting behind the counter. I asked for a large popcorn and was told they did not have any and were only serving Pizza Hut items. When I asked if popcorn could be made, I was then told the machine was not working. So on one visit it was "we're not making it today," and on the next visit the machine was supposedly out of service. Either way, why is there no clear signage? If the popcorn machine is broken, put an "Out of Service" sign on it. If only Pizza Hut items are available, say that. If hot dogs, popcorn, Icees, etc. are not being sold, why have a full menu posted as though they are available? During the same visit, I tried shopping the women's underwear section during an Auden 5-for-$25 promotion. The area was extremely disorganized. Many drawers were nearly empty, sizes and styles were mixed together, and I went through all three display areas, including drawers labeled for sizes other than mine, just to find five pieces I was willing to purchase. At self-checkout, I found out that two of the five did not qualify for the promotion because apparently only certain price points are included. The problem is that none of the individual items had visible prices on them. I asked the employee how a customer is supposed to know which ones qualify without having an employee scanner. She scanned the items and explained the price limitation, but that still did not answer the real question. How is the customer supposed to know while shopping when the merchandise is mixed together, the drawers are poorly organized, and the items themselves have no pricing? I was then told I could "just get two more" and directed back toward the same displays I had already thoroughly searched. That was frustrating because I had already spent a significant amount of time going through essentially every drawer trying to find something in my size. Neither issue by itself is catastrophic. The problem is that customers should not have to work this hard just to figure out what food is actually available, what merchandise costs, or what qualifies for an advertised promotion. I have shopped at Target for decades , and there are other locations that are much cleaner, better stocked, better organized, and provide a much smoother customer experience. After two disappointing visits in roughly 10 days, I am not particularly inclined to give this location a third chance.

So if you haven't tried, look into it and you may just get what you need super fast! The same day delivery does have a minimal order $ amount; and when you can't make that, you can come to their stores to pick up. And this is where this Supercenter comes in --- they have everything! I found and picked up items hard to find, or would take other places (Target, Amazon) days to delivery here, on the same day, for free pickup. Their great service staff makes it really easy. You can park in a designated area and they will help you get your order. And did I mention PRICES? You can't beat their prices... I've compared them with Amazon on many items and they are often better. I also appreciate that their pickup and delivery services are eco-friendly. Unlike many other retailers, they avoid using excessive packaging and stick to the manufacturer's original boxes, which I find very responsible.

I walked around for about an hour, and I still couldn't see everything. HUGE! As I left, I showed my receipt to the greeter by the entrance/exit, and Staff promptly smiled and said, "Goodbye, Sir." From top to bottom, this location felt safe, welcoming, and well-managed. I had no intention of leaving a review when I'd entered, but I'm compelled to say that the low rating doesn't do this place justice. I had a surprisingly good experience, and I can easily see this HUGE Walmart being a funny tourist attraction. Great deals!!

One dude named Angel, you may or may not know him, he is ALWAYS first or ONE of the first 5 people waiting in line. This dude always gets cards even if he's purchased the set already. The downside on this target location is that it's limit 2 per SKU, so this dude get multiple of EVERYTHING and he's known to be reselling as well from what I've heard. Today 05/08/26, there was an issue between 2 gentleman waiting in line about spot saving, because Angel left his chair in line and was apparently gone for hours only to show up 30 minutes before the store opened. Then what appears to be a friend or family member of Angels, shows up 15 minutes before opening. Then one gentleman, I don't know what the name is, but he's big, waddled his way into line and sat down on the ghost chair that he apparently left in line the night before, he always seems to be one of the first 5 people as well. I don't know what the name of the guy was that was defending Angel but this dude reeked of weed, looked like a bum wearing a black hoodie, facial hair indeed looking all bummish, and was also saving a spot in line for his wife that showed up like 20minutes after the store opened. It's crazy that chairs for whatever reason it be, can "save your place" in line without you even having to be physically there because as a collector myself I'd be pretty mad too that the first 5 people in are buying multiple of everything while everyone else there is trying to get something as well, especially after waiting HOURS and you can't really get anything because ANGEL and his buddies are spot saving and not PHYSICALLY present in line. This store needs to ban Angel from shopping at this location and they need to change to limit down to 1 per customer because limit 2 per customer especially when it comes to Pokemon cards is wild. It's a kids card game, and we got grown folk arguing which in this case is valid, IF YOU ARE NOT WAITING IN LINE LIKE THE REST OF THE PEOPLE YOU SHOULD NOT BE FIRST IN LINE AT ALL.

A simple, polite explanation would have been more than sufficient, especially considering I was trying to get a large amount of fragile merchandise safely to my car. Management should absolutely speak with Susie about how she communicates with customers. Customer-facing employees should be able to explain store policies respectfully without yelling at or embarrassing people. Based on my interaction with her, she would benefit from additional customer-service training or may be better suited for a position that is not customer-facing.
