This is s new store and it is very clean and well organized. The staff is always so helpful and friendly and it's a great place to pick up stuff from Japanese snacks, home goods, stationary, and just all around little stuff for home or dorm. This is smaller than the one on Paseo Padre and it also closes earlier. If you want more stuff then I recommend the other store but here the carry a lot of the same items but not as much stock as the bigger store. When buying small bowls or any ceramic look for where it is manufactured because many of them are made in Japan so the quality is actually really nice such as the soy sauce dip bowls I got;) read more

You have to look at their chart posted around the store to convert Yen to Dollars to determine a price item. This is not the Dollar store. They have some good items but also as far as longevity I have my doubts. Some items are more expensive than whats its worth in terms of material like cutting boards -$4 for the wood but it looks like cheap wood. Its nice clean store. I hate Daiso . Every time I bought something there. , the quality was so bad .whatever I bought was either out of order or broke the same Day . And there Is no return or exchange politics. The sails people also are very rude , if you have any objections , they just tell you this is our policy. That's it . I would never buy anything there any more . They made me feel so bad . read more

INSPECT YOUR RECEIPT BEFORE YOU LEAVE!!!!! I was charged for an extra 3 items I did not purchase and two of my items were rang up twice. I know it was a mistake because I only purchased 4 items (pretty easy to count) and saw there were 9 items scanned. Obviously I did not look at the receipt until I got home and was told no refunds. NO REFUNDS?!??!? ON ITEMS YOU SCANNED AND I DID NOT GET??? how can i bring in the items if i did not get them. I know it's not a lot of money considering their prices but it's just the feeling of getting ripped off and who knows how many times this has happened. read more

This is my favorite Daiso in the area! Yes this one is very spacious, as the other Yelpers have noted. It's much better than the Great Mall location. The aisles are organized, clean, and there's always a nice selection of items. I love how Daiso's in general have so many fun and affordable items (almost everything is $1.50, except for a few nicer items). I think I bought a yoga map here for like, $5 once too. Anyway, I love this Daiso-- also easier to park (they have their own parking spots in front- about 10 or so-- shared with Lane Bryant). The cashiers are also friendly. Anyway, I always enjoy coming here to buy face sheets (they carry some good ones at that bargain price), coconut makeup wipes, and portable notebooks (I always carry around with me in my purse). Finally, I love their aisle in the front that is seasonal. It changes (monthly, I think?)- depending on the holiday. Last time, I bought some fun St. Patrick's Day trinkets for my friends when we went out (yes, the lucky 4-leaf clovered kind). I went this weekend & they had cute Cherry Blossom stuff out! read more

Stopped by to kill time and check out this newly opened Daiso in Fremont. This is actually a bigger Daiso compared to the one in Alameda which was nice because they had more stuff on the shelves! I ended up buying more than what I planned for. They had smaller sized flashcards and had neck pillows, and compared to the Alameda Daiso they had stick on kitchen backsplashes! Parking wasnt bad since it's in a complex with a big lot. read more

I always go to the Daiso in Union City. Bit I was in the Fremont Hub area and saw there was a Daiso. This Fremont location closes at 8 pm. I came around 7:30ish. Mind you there were still quite a few customers getting their last items. Right after the male cashier with eyeglasses announced the 10 minute closing time, the lights were turned off in the store. I could here gasps from customers at the back of the store. The only lights left on were by the counter Never have I experienced that shopping at any store. I was so furious that I dropped my basket with my items and left. I'm never shopping in this store. I'll stick to the Daiso in Union City were we receive better service. Yes, a Daiso in Fremont Hub! I no longer have to travel to Union city or Milpitas just for Daiso. Now the Hub is like one stop shopping for me, lol. This can be a little dangerous. Every time I come here, I end up buying things that I didn't know existed and I didn't know I needed until that moment. Case in point, just went today to buy a bucket and also picked up a squeeze tool that rolls up the toothpaste tube as you use it (so handy) and a bunch of other things. This is a smaller Daiso compared to the others, but it has very clean, organized, wide aisles. Just opened last week. Good selection of office, household, organization products, etc, as well as snack items. Most items are $1.50. There is a minimum $10 purchase to use credit card, which is more than the Milpitas store, but I guess rent must be higher here. read more

Bright, clean, and organized, this Daiso is dangerous like any other Daisos. Each $1.50 item quickly adds up as everything is so very useful, cute, or unique! Picked up way more than I expected to, but will be used greatly! read more

My favorite Daiso store! Although, I live closer to the Alameda store, I will often visit here. It is one of the more spacious stores I have been to. I've been pleasantly surprised to find an even greater variety of products that are of course, reasonably priced. It's worth the trip! read more

I came here the other day and was quite disappointed. This place is much smaller than the other locations. I roamed around the store and couldn't find what I needed (which is rare). When I asked an employee if they had a certain item, she just told me that "If you don't see it, then we don't have it." Coincidentally, she was also the cashier that checked me out. I'm quite sure she remembers me...she didn't ask me, "Did you find everything you needed?" I did end up buying a food tray that I was planning to use to hang my make up brushes on ( while it air drys). I doubt I'll come back to this location again. read more

This location is much smaller than t he one in Union City but bigger than Milpitas. So the sell similar goods, and good this pretty close from where I live. The store is very well organized,clean and the aisles are more spacious. The service is excellent and guest reps are very courteous and pleasant. read more

This Daiso store doesn't seem as big as the one one Decoto but I've noticed that they have a more organized selection than the other one. I went to both stores and whatever I couldn't find at the other store, I wold find it here And vice versa. read more

I've been waiting for a specific bowl and was promised it would be in on Thursday this week. Went there on Friday and was turned away because they hadn't unpacked their shipment and was not sure when that would be done. "Just come back some other time." Lots of cute and well made items. I use the small and practical kitchen items almost daily and have absolutely no complaints. The quality and variety is great for the price point. The store is very clean, very well maintained and the staff is great. I was helped by Danielle, who was very pleasant, patient and respectful. I went in today and got greeted and treated very nicely by a worker, he was super nice and polite and very helpful, i got a lot of mugs and he happily packed them carefully and wrapped them with paper as well as pointing out that i had a chipped mug so i could change it. This Daiso is smaller than the Cupertino Daiso which is closer to home for me. But this store is clean and well organized. Most importantly the staff at this location is tremendously friendly and helpful. I will be back to continue my home organization and projects! read more

Daiso never disappoints. I walked out with an incredible number and diversity of items having spent about $23. Whiteboards, cork boards, food from Japan, a desk organizer, dish soap, etc. The line is set up to move quickly and the woman checking me out seem very nice. read more

Very disappointed about this store. Not only it carries half of the varieties of products than the ones in Union City and Milpitas, I find one phenomenon which I have to mention. What annoys me most is some of the senior staff (based on their age) who like to follow and even monitor my kid in the store. My kid is 11-year-old, a very quiet boy. I let him browse around the store and check what he likes. In fact, I always keep an eye on him. I found out one of the male senior staff kept his eyes on my son too. He seemed checking on what my son was looking. I do have the feeling that if he's afraid my kid would do some shoplifting. So I had to go and stood next to my kid to show him my son was adult accompanied. Then another female staff did the same, who arranged the products right next to my son when he's alone, and whichever aisle my son went, I saw her. They even had an announcer saying that all kids had to be accompanied by an adults apart from telling all sales are final and no returns. I do find it's ridiculous the staff act like that. I feel very uncomfortable in going to this store. I do not like being monitored, and also very kid-unfriendly. I will not go there again. read more

Lol the cashier named Raymend told a little girl in Heely's (shoes with a wheel in the heel) to "make sure if you fall, you fall outside so we avoid a lawsuit" That is the most hilarious thing I've ever heard a stranger say to a kid. Well-organized store, but a little too brightly lit. Kind of uncomfortable. Small selection compared to other Daiso locations but still carries some essentials. read more

After reading reviews of various stores I was pleasantly surprised at how well lit, clean this store is. I was worried the isles might not be wide enough for a wheelchair (as I've read about other stores having narrow isles) this store has wide enough isles and the personnel were helpful and polite. They've got all these cool inventions that you don't see regularly and it works great and the prices are good. The workers/associates are very helpful and courteous. This store definitely add value to the plaza by making the plaza less boring. it will be a hit as I will be here very often lol but I gotta warn you though...you gotta be careful walking around because things can fall especially if you have a large bag and turn it will break things and these things. Worst customer service. A tray slipped from the counter and shattered into pieces. Rather than giving a new one, I was forced to pay for it.

Cheap price and Cheap service. Worst customer help ever. When you purchase something, sales people say yes, we accept to get return. but when you really go to return then they tell story about their policy and our mistakes. read more
