Owner extremely rude and unprofessional. Purchased cupfections with the supposed to be yummy and warm brownies and picked up FROZEN brownies, hard as a rock, with ice cream on top.!The rude owner even admitted to making the order too soon and placing in the freezer! When the pick up time was literally 10 minutes and we showed up five minutes early! This crazy lady screamed in my ears over the phone saying that the order was supposed to go in the freezer as a mobile order. Really?!?? So you warm up the brownie and then put it in the freezer?!?? What a genius!!! lol I guess being 30 minutes before closing, they just DID NOT want to work anymore?!?! Why do you even bother with showing up if you can't do your job right?! Serving frozen brownies is unacceptable and arguing with customers that it supposed to be served like that, it's just CRAZY. Shame on them! They don't deserve the business and definitely won't get it from us again! $30 in the garbage but now we know to go elsewhere for better service and decent quality! There is a DQ almost in every corner. My suggestion- drive the extra 5, 10, 15 minutes etc but DO NOT GO HERE!! read more

Been here a few times and it's been great so far, the blizzards are so yummy, in particular the chocolate chip cookie dough--they don't skimp you on the cookie dough! I've picked up the frozen Oreo cake from here a couple of times as well, and it's always been delicious. Located in a clean strip mall, there's a drive thru which is super convenient, and a few chairs by the entrance if you want to enjoy your food outside. I'm a Blizzard fan. I've had them at different locations so I have an adequate number of experiences for comparison. I've had maybe three Blizzards at this location since they went under new management. Bottom line, they put very little candy in their Blizzards. They also are a little skimpy on the quantity of custard, filling the cup short of the top. Not a fan of this location. read more

I WAS RIPPED OFF. My small Chocolate Xtreme blizzard was $3.99. With Wood Dale's 8% sales tax, the total was supposed to be $4.31. The owner charged me $5.09. I didn't even get a receipt like I always do. Never going here again. I'm extremely disappointed with the rude customer service. read more

Be careful. I stopped here for 2 small blizzards and realized later that I was charged over $10. I checked and my receipt wasn't itemized, very shady. Plus there was very little candy mixed in the blizzard and the candy they used tasted stale. read more

This DQ used to be a dump, but the new owners have really worked to improve the quality of service a customer can expect to recieve. They have a limited food menu, but the food they do have is cooked made to order. They also have a basic drive thru for those nights when you don't want to get your kids out of the car. I was bothered by the attitude of the owner or Mgr at a employee today.1 the place is so dead and out dated,2 my wife order a waffle blizzard and the young man used a cup by mistake and the lady an Indian women right away corrected the the teenager boy and told him he was gonna pay for it out of his pay in front of myself and wife.what a nerve.really ????this is America you don't treat people like that what so ever my wife actually was botherd more she offered to pay for the cup but the lady acted like we dint know what we talking abt.then she says we shouldn't worry about them cause he don't work for her.really so his there for free labor? The ice cream is good. But than again how can you mess that up right? I don't like coming to this one especially because of how dirty it really is inside here. I get attitude from the cashiers as well as the manager. I see how the manager talks to some of his staff so I just get disgusted with it. I wont come to this one any more plus why spend money at a place like this when I can go buy my ice cream and make as many special treats as I want? I just got home from yet another 'wonderful' experience at Dairy Queen. I ordered a medium snickers blizzard, 1 large chocolate extreme blizzard, and 1 large m&m blizzard. Pretty simple order I thought. I get my order, and she gave me a large snickers blizzard and a medium m&m. Normally I wouldn't care, but the m&m blizzard was for my brother, so I didn't want his to be the one messed up. So i politely let her know that she just flip flopped the two. She then says that if i want to switch it, i will be charged an up charge, even though she was the one who got the order wrong. I was not going to pay for it because I had repeated my order 3 times at the window to her. She finally agrees to fix it, but says "I'll do it this time, but I'm not doing this ever again for you. Make sure you clarify ur order next time". I was just baffled at how rude she was. She simply could have just apologized and fixed my order. read more

My complaint with this DQ is not the ice cream. You can't go wrong with ice cream really, BUT I have been to this DQ 3 times in less than 2 weeks and the same thing has happened. I ordered the same blizzard every time, (medium blizzard with cookie dough and Oreos) which is not actually a blizzard... it's plain vanilla ice cream with little dust speckles inside that are presumed to be cookies. The first time I was super furious because I was craving one so badly, but figured it's just a one time thing. The second and third time I just asked for extra topping to save myself the disappointment. It's as if I asked them to sprinkle the crumbs in it and charge me extra. Let me add that the receipt I got was not itemized, no idea what I was actually charged for....and for the cherry on top, the ice cream was almost totally melted before she even handed it us. So just be ready to eat vanilla cookie crumb ice cream soup for almost $7. Enjoy. read more
