This location went through a complete remodel, and I believe an owner change. The previous owner ran this place to the ground, so it's nice to see the location get cleaned up and hopefully has better quality than before. When I visited today, I ordered a medium chocolate dipped cone. The staff member had immediately greeted me and was super friendly when placing my order. Appreciate her offering napkins when handing my cone. As I left once my cone was finished, she even told me to have a good day. Definitely set the standard for fast food customer service! I'd definitely return to this location and hope their Yelp rating increases now that it's under new management with a remodel. Check out the photos! Looks so different, and product quality is better. Give them another chance if you haven't been in 2026 since reopening. read more

This Dairy Queen was reopened on January 4, 2026 with a total remodel inside and out. The dining area has a modern look and feel. There is plenty of seating outside with umbrellas for shade. Service was fast and friendly. Lots of customers coming and going while I was there. No food at this location. Just lots of varieties of delicious ice cream and drinks. read more

First. We walked in and discovered that this DQ only serves Ice Cream no other foodstuffs like hamburgers and fries. Second. There were 3 employees that I seen all assisting the drive through. I took the fucking time to walk in the store and I still had to ask for help. Ridiculous! Third. We bought 2 boxes of Dilly Bars, 1 Cherry & one Heath. There's only 6 bars in the box and the total for both boxes was just south of $40 $20 per box Forth. Tonight January 31st we each tried one. We noticed that they were much smaller than we remembered. The ice cream tasted like they put sand in it. Gritty as fuck. The coatings didn't even taste good. WTF Hey DQ I will never be back I believe it's illegal to completely change your product! Fuck You! read more

This place always seems to have something out of stock or broken machines. One time they were out of milk, another more recent time their machine for MooLatte's was broken. This place could use new management since they still can't get it right despite it being a newly opened building/location replacing the dirty location (which we always avoided previously) that used to be in that area. No way to exit drive through when they're unable to fulfill our order. Like the previous dirty location that was nearby, we have decided to stop going to this location too! read more

terrible service the manager gracie is very unprofessional and rude. The store is very under staffed, it is like they don't even have stations there just running around like chickens with there heads cutoff this place needs new management! read more

The Dairy Queen in Apache Junction on Apache Trail is really bad . Last time I went there the ice cream was a weird consistency and tasted icy and sour after taste . Today I asked for a cone twist in a cup and said they charge it as a sundae with no toppings . The vanilla ice cream was not even white it was a light tan color . I asked about it and she said that's just the way it comes out of the machine . It did not taste like vanilla at all . She made me another one with all chocolate and again the consistency was weird and left a sour aftertaste . I have gone to Dairy Queen for many years other locations throughout the USA and Canada and it has always been consistent and delicious. Not here !!! These new owners need to do something as their reputation is on the line . I just threw out my ice cream as it was gross . Find another location people . I'm done there ! read more

Iwas so excited when the remodeled Dairy Queen reopened, I have 6 grandchildren and as a treat I like to buy then ice-cream from this store. The last time I went a small cup of soft vanilla was over $3. That is simply too high, even for a special treat. I will not return, I am sorry to say, that is just not a realistic price to charge. read more

Nice update on the building! Service good, fast. Ice cream always good. Would go back again and again.

I came through the Drive Thru on 3/26 around 10pm and I was refused service by a worker named Aubrey. She didn't give me a reason. I sat at the window and waited for someone else to attend me. And I noticed that all 3 employees on shift went and hid in the back. Then this other girl with dark hair, came and told me the same again without a reason. This is unprofessional and unfair, especially because I was never given a reason or had a reason to not get serviced. There was a line of cars behind me and I saw them all get served. I would like to talk to a Manager. Thank you. read more

They downgraded their icemilk to the point that McDonald's ice cream is better. Other locat locations have not done this. The ice milk they have reminds me of the cheap stuff from a Chinese buffet. Watery ice slop, no creamy texture. Avoid this location. read more

This Dairy Queen in Apache Junction is filthy. Inside the establishment it looks like it's still under construction, but the food service area is in desperate need of a good cleaning and the employees could use a course in "Food Handling". I doubt not a single one of them has a food handlers card. Has the Pinal County Public Health Services District, Environmental Health Division Ever stopped in there? read more

We give this DQ 3 stars for the happy customer service and the effort... This location is fairly run down and not well maintained. We have visited twice during vacations to Mesa and both times were consistent. Location-not great, run down Ice cream, 4 blizzards- again not great, and not made correct. There were chocolate Chex in one of the blizzards and a mix of gummy candy in the other, not what we ordered. Service- the person working both trips (3 years apart) was the same guy and he makes the visit worth 3 stars. Happy to have customers and I expect trying his best. got to the bottom of my banana milkshake to find the peel of the banana at the bottom. so gross!! tried to call to complain but no one answers read more

Should've read the reviews FIRST!! Yesterday, my guy and I went to get chocolate malts. One sip and I about gagged. It was straight up ROTTEN!! How the HELL after all these years of the same reviews about rotten ice cream being served, are they STILL open?! Not only that, but it appears the inside has been closed for years and it's not changed. My man was able to peak inside the drive through window and said it was "effing disgusting in there." We went back thru and got our money back. Kid at the window actually had the nerve to ask if he wanted us to remake them...Are you for real, child?? NO. Do all of Apache Junction a favor and turn this place into a Dunks with a whole new management overhaul. The owner of this place needs to find another line of work; this is not it for him. ZERO stars. DON'T waste your time or money on this ridiculous health violation! K, bye. read more

While some reviewers share that the location is run down, the establishment still delivers on quality and taste. I'm never disappointed in my order. The young men working tonight had some of the best customer service I've had at any restaurant. They are kind, considerate, friendly, and knowledgeable about their product. read more

Banna split was really good BESIDES the rotten pineapple we had to take out. will definitely buy agian.

I wish you could leave no stars because this Dairy Queen is awful! Just got sick from the chocolate ice cream! It didn't taste good but I thought maybe it was just me! So I ate a little more of it and about 30 min later got sick! My husband got a chocolate malt and said this tastes really bad! It tasted sour! The man that runs this place is the rudest person ever never talks to you not even hello or a thank you! read more

Ordered two medium cones. Ice cream tasted sour, almost like yogurt. Send like a bad batch, but should have never been offered for sale.

Worst Dairy Queen ever but there is only 1 in this area so hey, if you've happen to like their ice cream, you don't have much of an option. Surprisingly the ice cream is not something I've had issues with but the employees & owner give the worst possible customer service. Pulled into the drive thru and couldn't even get more than 30 seconds to look at the menu because they were "closing and kind of needed to put the order in now" even though their hours on both google & yelp said they were open until 10. I will say, they did have a sign of their "hours until further notice" when I got up to the window that stated they were closing but they should at the very minimum, have that at the ordering speaker if they can't update their hours... read more

I love blizzards, but the ones at this location are DISGUSTING! This is the second time I go here and there are chunks of old sugar that distort the flavor and make the blizzard grainy and gross. I ordered a completely different flavor blizzard and it tasted exactly the same with same unpleasant consistency in the ice cream. NEVER COME TO THIS LOCATION. read more

Zero stars. Got here at 8:30 pm. We got a cheese cake blizzard. Two cherry dip cones and one vanilla cone. The ice cream was rotten, very sour and stun my tongue. Super gross and will never come back. DO NOT GO HERE, save your money and go get ice cream from McDonald's. read more

Disgusting, The chocolate dipped cone looked funny, and tastes funny. First time here when I pulled up the place looked old, disgusting, and abandoned. read more

This place is horrible, the blizzards were horrible as they had very little filling and was almost watery. The owner acted like we were bothering him when we questioned the blizzards and was just plain rude. We also got some ice cream sandwiches which appear to be made onsite and they looked liked they had melted and then refrozen. We won't go back and make sure our friends know this facility is horrible. Come on Dairy Queen, you guys used to set a standard not lower your standards. read more

Went there on a Friday night at 935 snd they were closed. It says they are open until 10 but just a heads up they are not.

I literally just went through the drive through to order 3 blizzards. The service was so slow that I nearly died of old age waiting to get my order. Then by the time we made it to the window there was an older guy, manager maybe, who literally shoved the order at me through the window and didn't say a word. The cups were a dripping mess and my mother had to lay napkins across her lap because of the mess. I will never go back to this Dairy Queen and am just waiting for it to go out of business. read more

All of these other goons and goblins clearly have popped into this establishment as of recent. The ice cream? It tastes like ice cream. That's a win. Nobody carjacked my ride in the parking lot and that's a huge plus. Would recommend but do be aware that this DQ does not serve food. read more

I've been to this DQ before and ordered a Snickers blizzard. You know vanilla ice cream with candy pieces. Pretty standard. That's what I ordered yesterday and I get it home and it's Phx it had melted a little so I put it in the freezer. When I get it out it's chocolate ice cream with snickers. I call and explain the situation and ask if I can come exchange it and the boy on the phone says that all Snickers blizzards come like that. He said they come in chocolate ice cream and that's how they're taught to make it. I said I've been ordering Snickers Blizzards for how many years and it's always vanilla ice cream unless asking otherwise. But no he keeps arguing. I say we'll on the menu it should specify them that it comes with chocolate ice cream because I don't like chocolate ice cream I wouldn't have ordered it that way. He says I can't bring it back they're closed anyway. Well it was about 8:50 and I'm like 2 minutes away and they don't close until 9:00. He tells me to call back today when I the manager is in. So I call back today and the manager is not in but the same boy tells me that he'll text the manager call him back. So now they tell me that since this happened yesterday I can bring it back but they won't replace it. They will give me a discount to order another. Since it's a day old they wont replace it. OK, ummm so were you gonna feed it to someone else? Because if you're just trying to write a wrong then you would throw it away and make me a new one anyway. Some places when that happened might even been to say just keep that one will make you a correct one. Not this place. I told them I'd be leaving a review and met with a nasty "go ahead". Wow!! Dairy Queen. This is what you're OK with a franchise being! Guess I'll be doing Sonic blasts going forward!! One bad Dairy Queen experience really ruins it for any further in the future! read more

Please do not eat/consume anything from here.. their food tastes disgusting. My friends worked here and the manager pulls cups/lids/ anything he could possible reuse out of the trash. Once they told me all that happens there I just couldn't go back. So please be careful and do not come here! Will never go back again!!! Picked up an ice cream cake and the handwriting was horrible!!! We called and at first, the owner, was not going to do anything about! Please for the love of god. Close this franchise. This place really gives Dairy Queen a bad name. Fruit is always bad, sour and just taste terrible. I got super sick after having an strawberry banana Julius and my husbands blizzard was like soup! The older guy that usually runs orders, who is the owner. Does NOT flip the blizzards. He ignores us. No greeting. Nothing!! Literally throws our ice cream at us and walks away. Place is filthy and just looks god awful. DO NOT go here. You will get sick. read more

My mom and I went there today for the bogo 80 cents. No where on the site did it indicate only certain types of blizzards were in the deal. When we asked about it the drive thru girl was rude and snarky. Not only that but both Oreo blizzards were lacking in Oreos. One had chunks of butterfinger and chocolate slivers as well. NOT what I ordered. I will never go back to this location. read more

First thing you notice when you walk in is how unbearably hot it is in there. There was only two people ordering their food at the counter as we start to look at the menu. I moved over to the side where you order. Not one of the three people behind the counter acknowledge that we where there. I moved closer to the counter incase maybe they thought we where still on the fence of what we wanted. All they seemed to care about was the people in the drive thru.
