I just absolutely felt compelled to leave this specific location a wonderful review after my experience last night as a door dasher. I do frequently visit this location as well with my family, so I hope management sees this. You had three young ladies working their tails off, communicating with each other properly and with literally a line out of the door. I just want to give a special shout out to the taller blonde barista, and I wish I caught her name, that helped me with my delivery. Not only was she slammed making drinks, but she happily assisted me with a huge smile on her face. Apologized for the wait but was so incredibly pleasant I was actually surprised, that is not something I encounter often in a busy establishment and especially from the younger generation. As a fine dining server and hospitality worker, you have a gem right there and she should be acknowledged!! read more

We received fast and friendly service and we were helped out right before their Saturday night rush. Employees were friendly and cheerful. The inside was clean. The only thing we noticed was that there was a funky smelllll up in there that was very strong.. and not good. read more

Cheap, quick and easy cold treat! It's perfect for those hot Arizona days where you are craving something sweet and cold. Lots of parking and in a good area. I recommend trying their dirty sodas, they are half off until 3pm everyday. A great deal! read more

I return specifically to this location because of customer service and the care they put into making our drinks right. Always a lovely visit when I come. Drinks are reasonably priced and always made right. When I ask for accommodations and special requests, they always make sure to do the best they can with a smile. Great place, employees, and treats. Happy to recommend.! read more

4 stars because they are closed Sundays. The servers are young but always pleasant. Always a good experience. My grandkids love it at their parties. read more

Love BB, but notice that the employees don't wash their hands when they come out of the back room. We walked in and no one was in the seating area. So the employees were in the back. When they came out to make the refreshments, they didn't wash their hands. Pretty sure that's mandatory. Kinda bummed out. read more

Aidan is the absolute best. I wish we still had Bahama bucks in Orange County CA but he made us miss it even more especially because of his customer service. Thanks so much! read more

I love taking my kids to this place! They love it too, it's always busy because in the heat of AZ everybody knows it's a great place to go and cool off. The prices are good. The restaurant is clean and their shaved ice is great! Definitely get yourself and your children to this place!! read more

My elementary school years I experimented with many different root beers.  My favorite was Hires Root Beer.  In my college years Hires disappeared from California.  I could get it for a few more years in Yuma then it disappeared from Arizona as well. I was surprised to see it on the menu at Bahama Bucks. I ordered my favorite childhood drink. It was sweet and had that unique root beer flavor I love.  Great drink. Another visit I tried a root beer and lychee shaved ice. I notice they have a classic Hawaiian shave ice machine which uses a big ice block to create the fluffiest ice I've eaten.  Lychee flavor was a bit sour and didn't taste like lychee.  I wouldn't get that flavor again.  Root beer was sweet and had delicious root beer flavor.  I'd get it again. The ice here is of the finest quality.  The syrup is a bit hit or miss.  Wish they had taster flights so I could sample the various syrups. Next time I visit Arizona I'll have to return to Bahama Bucks and get another Hires Root Beer. read more

So tasty! A perfect treat on a hot summer day! The staff was super nice! So many flavors to choose from, every combination is delicious!

Mack is the guy. We always go to this location and he's always got the best suggestions.

If I could right lower, I would I'm so mad I came in for a remake that they messed up because it was so salty. The person who I spoke on the phone with said come back for the remake and they even told me when ice gets melted. It gives it a salty taste, and when I came back, aiden told me he can't do anything about it even though the guy that was in cash register was going to do something about it but aiden stopped him I went at 7 Monday October 29 read more

Great staff but unfortunately the last four times I've gone there's been little to no flavor to my shaved ice and this last time they put a small tiny amount of the second flavor I ordered. Will probably start going to a different location as I love bahama bucks but this location lacks flavor each time. read more

I came in today around lunchtime and had the BEST experience. Jaelyn was there and she had just dealt with a really difficult customer. She shook it off and provided quick, happy service. I was blown away by how friendly and professional she was. I went to Bahama Bucks for amazing shaved ice and what I got was an amazing experience. Being in customer service, I know that creating an experience is important and not always easy to do, especially when customers don't treat you well. It takes a special person. I've been to Bahama Bucks 100+ times over the decades and this is the first review I've felt prompted to give. Thanks, Jaelyn, for brightening my day! Friendly Staff, Fast service and a nice selection of tasty drinks, Return customer for sure,

I remember Bahama Bucks from my old ASU days. When one of the girls said let's go I was happy to! I was glad to see one was down the street from where we were, so plus plus! It is in the strip mall in a huge plaza. It is by the Native New Yorker. It was pretty packed on a Saturday night, so we waited for about 10 mins in line before it was our turn to order. Ordered and then waited another 10 mins before our order was completed. I ordered the blue coconut with cream, YUM! I only had a baby size, it was just right!!! read more

This location is the worst. They have screwed up our order multiple times through a delivery company. Tonight we ordered 7 cups and only received 3. Last time, the syrup didn't go through to the middle by any means and the white snow tasted so salty, we threw them out. read more

Great place for an icy treat on a hot summer day. They serve these cups of shaved ice and offer a tremendous amount of flavors for toppings. I appreciate that they have so many sugar free flavors. read more

The BRM is so good! Best cooling dessert in Arizona. The sizes are really big for a good price

We went to this location on 2/2 and they were really busy. But the kids working were working very hard. I had 5 children with me and the girl at the register was so patient when getting their orders. Great place, highly recommend! read more

Mack provided us excellent service and recommendations when we came in one night, I will definitely be back again!

Amazing! Had a great time there not only because the shaved ice was amazing but because the environment they created was fun! Games, coloring pages, ring toss all kept the kids entertained and it was nice being together. Maybe employees were helpful with flavors and made a few choices that we could pick from. Each flavor I tried was great and refreshing. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun night out (that is not on the expensive side!) read more

It was clean inside. There were only a few other people here, so it wasn't too busy. The shaved ice was sooooo good! It was soft and the flavor was all through the ice, not just on top. I love the umbrella and spoon they placed in the shaved ice, so cute! I will be returning to try other things on their menu. read more

So I'm sitting in my house in Oklahoma, wishing I was in Mesa so I could go get a baby strawberry-colada with cream. It just sounds so, so good right now. I miss Bahama Bucks. It was a fun treat while I was growing up and then turned into a fun treat for my kids. We would go in almost once a week, and every time I'm home, I home visiting, BB is a place I must go. First time and won't be the last. Absolutely wonderful beverage. Highly recommend. Very friendly staff. Short wait time amazed me.

My mouth waters when I drive by this place and even if its 60 degrees out. My daughter introduced them to me and life has never been the same. Their treats are great, that's obvious, and the kids that work there are always polite and enthusiastic. I've never been disappointed and I go at least once a week, rain or shine. The place is always clean including the restrooms. I'm a person with some years on me and I just love this place and all the yummy goodness that dwells inside. read more
