Service: 5/5 Coffee: 3.5 rounded to 4…read moreCup: 10/5 I needed a morning coffee while whiling an hour before a legal appointment in the next plaza over. I was happy to see the Wendy's advertising their new breakfast menu across the street. Perfect timing now! The restaurant was quiet apart from one customer dining in and a couple of drive-thru vehicles, so I would be able to enjoy the clean and quiet atmosphere while having my pick of seating. I ordered my coffee, which comes in a choice of 2 sizes. I chose the Large. I like a lot of cream in my coffee and the staff manually guesstimated a generous amount which she came over to show me before proceeding to add the coffee. Nice! I took my coffee over to a nice booth/table and immediately noticed the CUP. OMG. This cup is the Holy Grail of takeout coffee cups. SO sturdy, thermal, NO LEAKAGE, NO DRIPPING FROM THE NOT FLIMSY LID. The coffee itself is OK, a bit weak, but not bitter/burnt tasting. Idc. I'm coming back bc it's acceptable and properly packaged. I swear I could reuse it at home a couple times. Maybe if I add less cream it will boost the flavour of the coffee. Would love to come back to enjoy it with Breakfast Baconator and all the other new breakfast offerings.

They do have scoops of ice cream, refreshers, hot drinks (hot chocolate, chai, tea, coffee), and cakes. The focus is on good quality and less calories. This is a woman-owned business. She is extremely passionate about what she created and is serving. If she isn't busy, speak to her and learn things about her business! Currently they are only open 18:00 to 01:00. They tend to be very busy from 20:00 to 22:00. For their ice cream, they use 10% milk, half cream, and less sugar. We ordered the following: 1. Rich Chocolate Scoop ($3.49). 2. Classic French Vanilla Scoop ($3.49). 3. Mango Sorbet Mini Scoop (not on the menu yet). 5. Blueberry Bliss Rolled Ice Cream (mini $8.99). 5. Royal Rabri Gulab Jamun Rolled Ice Cream ($12.99). The customer service is really good, especially from the owner. She is extremely knowledgeable about her products. Both ice cream scoops very not too sweet, exactly what East Asian people like. The Mango Sorbet is not currently on their menu. They gave us a small amount to try. Sorbet is from pure fruit and water, no other ingredients. You can taste the freshness of the fruit. The mango they use is from Indian or Pakistani (keseari or chaunsa mango) which is sweeter than Mexican mango (which has a little citrusy taste). Their Rolled Ice Cream uses less sugar. It is mixed with milk and cream. To roll their ice cream, they pour milk and cream and pieces of fruit onto a frozen plate, then mix it thoroughly, and making it a thin sheet. When the consistency is like ice cream, the scrape it in such a way to roll up the thin sheets. The Blueberry version uses 6-7 blueberries and only has about 200-250 calories! I chose to have whipped cream on top. The Gulab Jamun version has 2 gulab jamon in the roll and 1 on top. This is their sweetest rolled ice cream. It had a good sweetness to it. Some people ask for 3 in the roll! They can customize based on customer choice. You can even ask for a lower calorie version. They would use 10% milk instead of cream. Even their coffee is special. The Desi Mocha instant coffee, chocolate and whipped cream. This is a takeout-only place but there were 2 chairs available. However, being part of the World Food Market, there are many outdoor seats (picnic tables), behind Sufi's. They opened on 2026-07-10. There is no free WiFi. The food stall is wheelchair accessible. There are no customer washrooms. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2026-152

You earn points towards free food…read more I frequent a plaza in Scarborough, on the border with Markham, that has a Circle K, Esso, Walmart, and Chatime often. I recall waiting for the traffic light to change. I looked at the sign at this plaza and it had Firehouse Subs. Really? It was news to me. I learned that it had set up shop next to Chatime. This eatery has taken over from where M&M Food Market used to be. Previously, it was a Sally Beauty. Here's hoping that Firehouse Subs sticks around. I felt like a sub for dinner. I ordered online and signed up for Firehouse Subs rewards. I can earn points towards free food. I am close to getting a free bag of chips already. I got a welcome gift of 100 points. I ordered a combo containing the following items: - Large Montreal smoked meat sub - Harvest cheddar Sun Chips - Medium fountain drink I paid online. It was a smooth transaction. I was in downtown Markham. I headed over to this eatery. There is lots of parking in front of Firehouse Subs. I pulled into a spot and walked in. There was a man waiting for his order. A couple was ordering in front of me. The man loudly asked what size his drink was. The woman behind the counter had the patience of a saint. She let him know that it was a medium. I was looking for the Rapid Rescue sign. I saw nothing. Instead, I approached the woman and indicated that I had a takeout order. Halfway through rattling off my name, I noticed that there was a cubby area to my left, but low to the ground. I saw my name on a paper bag. She smiled. It was indeed my order. There was a cup for my fountain drink. She went to get me a bag of harvest cheddar Sun Chips and put it in my bag. I thanked her and wished her a great evening. She reciprocated. There were a few folks dining in. I headed over to the fountain drinks machine, put some ice and filled it up with Diet Coke. I put a lid on it and stuck a straw through it. Done! I walked out with my order, safely placing everything in my car. I drove home and looked forward to dinner. It was my first time getting a large sub. I was hungry. The Montreal smoked meat sub was excellent. It had a lot of smoked meat that was tender and yummy. It was surprisingly not overly salty. I got it on whole wheat bread. I loved it. Perfect! My sub had a lot of mayo. The deli mustard had a kick to it. I'm guessing that it was mixed with horseradish. My sinuses were cleared up, which I appreciated. The only downside was that it came with onions. I didn't customize my sub. I wanted to enjoy it the way that it was intended to be eaten. I got four thick onion rings in my sub. They had that burning raw taste when I had a bite. I was not a fan. I took the remaining rings out. If I had one more onion ring, I could have made the Olympics rings logo. The provolone cheese was perfectly paired with the smoked meat. So good! I devoured this sub. It's here for a limited time. I need to get it again before it's gone. I love harvest cheddar Sun Chips. I actually got two bags. Double the enjoyment. Yes! My Diet Coke was refreshing and washed everything down. I had a great experience. I'm glad that this location exists. It's a lot closer coming here than the one on Markham Road, just south of Major Mackenzie Drive. I'll be back. (23)

It was not very busy, but should be. They had fries, very hot and crispy, the bag of chips we picked had no crushed bits. The pop dispenser was very basic. None of all the crazy add on flavours. I'm ok with that. The other machines break down a lot. It was very clean, overall it was a very positive experience. been open about 6 months. Definitely returning to this Location.

Tip: Whopper Wednesdays rule! This combo goes for $8.99 before taxes on Wednesdays…read more I was in the area and did a search for a Burger King. I didn't realize that this Burger King was near All Star Wings. I was happy. I parked in front to the restaurant. There was lots of parking. I noticed that it has a drive-thru on the right side of the building when you're looking at the main doors. I had placed an order for a Whopper combo through the Burger King app. It was Whopper Wednesday, meaning that I could get this combo for $8.99 before taxes. My order consisted of these items: - Whopper - Onion rings - Medium fountain drink - Strawberry sundae I got an estimated pickup time. I specified that I was dining in. I also earned crowns (rewards points) towards free food and more. I walked in. It was spacious. It felt inviting here. It was fairly busy when I got here at roughly 4 pm. I saw the order pickup sign on the left and headed over there. Ordering in advance felt like I was in a VIP line. A helpful female staffer found my order with my name, but it was in a paper bag. She quickly fixed the issue by taking everything out and putting them on a tray. She then let me know that she's make my sundae. She exhibited excellent customer service. I appreciated her clear communication. While I waited for my sundae, I hit the drink machine and got a Diet Coke. I ended up refilling my cup twice. It wasn't enough to wash down all my food. Before I left, I refilled it. I got my tray with my food from her. I thanked her and headed to a table to chow down. I ended up in a corner. It was great. There was a man who was working on his laptop. I spent my time eating and uploading photos to Yelp. The Diet Coke was excellent. I put ice in my drink. It was refreshing and was much needed as I ate. I love the onion rings at Burger King. It no longer offers Half-sies, which gives you half fries and half onion rings. It's now onion rings all the way for me. They were crispy and yummy, with the sweet onion coming through. I loved my Whopper. Within the last year, the company has improved it for the better. The veggies were crisp and fresh. The bun held everything together. The beef patty was delicious. It was satisfying to devour. The strawberry sundae is my favourite dessert here. The vanilla soft serve with the strawberry sauce was so good. It's the real sliced strawberries in the sauce that make this sundae excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I used the washroom twice. The first time was shortly after I got my order. It's nice that you can put your tray down with food on a table and no one will swipe it. I used it again before I left. The women's washroom has two stalls. The door on the left has a tight, inflexible door hinge. It's a workout to use it, so beware. Otherwise, the washroom was clean and nicely maintained. I liked dining here. I'd do it again when I'm in Richmond Hill again. (317)

When I got to the window, I was handed a cold bag of food. I didn't even pull off before telling them the food was cold. The employee working the drive-thru window on Wednesday, January 20th at approximately 6:17 PM responded with an attitude and said, "Well, you placed it." I replied that yes, that's how ordering food works, and asked why the food was cold. They said it had already been made. I asked why food would be prepared so early especially when the order was placed only five minutes prior and they had no explanation. When I said I did not want cold food, I was told to request a refund through the Burger King app. I then asked for the order to be remade fresh. Instead, I was told I would need to drive back around, place a new order, and pay for it again, even though I was already at the window and the issue was entirely on their end. Between the cold food, refusal to correct the mistake, and dismissive attitude, this was an extremely poor experience. I will never return to this location again. Completely unacceptable customer service.

Co-founders, Joanna and Ryan, started up the business during the pandemic where they have been to a variety of markets and popups. Currently now, they have their own small storefront in a historic building in the Annex. I've followed Spirited Tarts & Coffee on Instagram for a while now where I've always tried to plan to go to one of their popup markets in the past - however, the timing was never right. Just recently they opened a small storefront! Watching them most about their renovations about their small cafe got me more excited to finally visit them and try their pastries for the first time. I stopped by a few days after they opened in the morning, however, at that time the espresso machine wasn't warmed up yet and I didn't have time to wait. I finally came back to Spirited Tarts and Coffee on a Thurs afternoon and Joanna and Ryan were both there. I ordered a cortado and crinkled matcha cookie to enjoy in the space. The cafe is intimate and cozy where there is some bar or bench seating available. The pastries neatly laid out on display when you enter and the menu features espresso based drinks, pourover, and even tea lattes. My cortado was made well and the cookie was delicious. Both Joanna and Ryan were so friendly, talking to the customers that came by. A great new addition to the Bloor/Bathurst area if you are ever needing a caffeine hit and some delicious pastries!
