Me and my girlfriend stopped in for a quick lunch. I ordered the steak fingers with onion rings. The food was amazing. The bathroom was super clean. All the staff were very friendly. They even have a small memorabilia of various vintage Dairy Queen products which was neat to look at if you're hungry and need a quality place to stop you found it. read more

Always amazing food and service. Whether it is a meal or an ice cream, it is always good.

This is an old school Dairy Queen, these people take their job very serious, their hamburgers are 2nd to none, they get your order out very fast, best in town. read more

Food was tasty, service was prompt and attentive. Grandson enjoyed the ice cream treat.

Classic DQ...great food no matter what you order. Service is always fast and friendly. Will drive the extra mile to eat there.

This is a mixed review based on my first and only experience at this establishment. I would first like to say that the food was very good, my burger was excellent. My experience with the owner was awful. When paying for my order, I used a debit card. The girl working the register said she removed my card too quickly and the charge didn't go through and ran it a second time. No problem, however I received an alert on my phone that I was charged twice and in fact, the first attempt and second both cleared my account. I showed this to her and she promptly refunded me for one of the charges. At this point everything is wonderful. While eating my food, the owner came to the counter and yelled across the restaurant full of customers that my card was declined and my ticket was unpaid! I was shocked that not only he felt the need to call me out and yell across the restaurant but then proceeded to raise his voice at me. I came to the counter with my phone showing the double charge to him trying to explain that not only was my card not declined but that I was charged twice. I told him that there was no need to raise his voice and yell across the restaurant like I was some kind of deadbeat not paying my bill. The mistake was on his end, not mine. Instead of apologizing for his mistake, he then proceeded to attempt to belittle me in front of the restaurant saying I was being sensitive, still yelling at me as I returned to my table to finish my meal. He then said he didn't care what people thought, he knew everyone in the restaurant. I told him he was being rude and disengaged with the now very agitated owner. I finished my meal and cleaned my table and left. I have read what a great business this is and maybe the owner was having a bad day. Regardless of the circumstances, the owner of any business should never verbally attack a customer. This could've been handled in many different ways, but he chose to jump to conclusions rather than look at the facts and talk to his employees to find out what was really going on. He chose to treat a new customer like trash and even after realizing he was in the wrong, he chose to continue his verbal assault rather than man up and apologize. I've been a business owner most of my life and this was a shocking experience from a small family owned business. read more

We stop at this charming Dairy Queen every time we drive from Austin to Oklahoma. The family-owned charm is always present, the food is consistently good, and we are guaranteed a great experience! Their onion rings are amazing, there is a secret they will tell you if you ask.. We are always sad when we drive through on Sunday as they are not open on Sundays... read more

Workers were rude, not a single car in the driveway we pulled in for 5 minutes with a trailer to pick up our order and he decided to make a big deal about it and start making comments because we were "blocking" the driveway. read more

I ordered a hamburger meal, I guess, without the drink, because she didn't ask. I ordered onion rings instead of fries. Price was a little high without the drink. The hamburger was good, with fresh vegetables and good flavoring. The onion rings were good. they just could've cooked a little longer. They were more limp than I like them to be. I loved the onion batter thoigh read more

We are visiting from out of town, there are 2 Dairy Queen's in Mineral Wells. We went to the one on East Hubbard but the lobby was closed. I am so thankful we went to the one on N Oak!! This place is ADORABLE! They were fast and so polite! I highly recommend going out of your way 2 minutes to go to this location!!! read more

This is my first time visiting this business and the staff are awesome. I ordered the steak finger basket with onion rings. The first bite brought me back years the onion rings are great and just like they were made when I was a kid. The Steak fingers were delicious. I walked out feeling like I was a kid again. The dining area was small but very clean. Thank you for the memories. read more

Diary Queen done right! Every time I come here the service is excellent, and the food is spot on. Specially, the onion rings. If you're looking for one of the best, Dairy Queen's in America, this one is it! read more

This one is the better of the 2 in Mineral Wells. It still has the old DQ feel to it. Great place for a cool treat on a hot day! I am a fan of the Strawberry Cheesecake Blizzard. Yummy! read more

I'm never disappointed here. The food quality is amazing and consistent, and the owners and workers (mostly family) are top notch. I believe every time I have eaten there and start to leave, I've been asked if everything was good. It's obvious they care about quality, it's obvious they want you satisfied. I've been going to the "little DQ" or "North Oak DQ" for decades and they never fail to deliver first-rate food, service and friendliness. Dine in or carry out - the quality is still the same. Always great. read more

Not like other Dairy Queens. Everything was hot and fresh. Awesome home made onion rings. Everyone was very friendly. I was even impressed with the toast and the tea. read more

This an old school Dairy Queen. Everything taste like it did as a kid. (Hickey's Dairy Queen is the best.)

I guess they don't train their kids like every other employee. I have always supported this business as it is in my neighborhood and had always been my family's favorite. Everyone has always been friendly including the owners themselves, however today I pull into the drive through and was greeted by one of the owners daughter (who has personal differences with some of my family members) "you're really f*ing lucky my moms not here today, you have some real nerve coming here". I asked if she would like me to leave and she replied yes. Like I've said I've always been a customer, but I won't spend another dime. I really wish this didn't have to happen. Always been civil and cordial and always willing to give my money to this family even through those differences. read more

Standard DQ fare. Try the onion rings, as they are the main draw to this establishment. The food prices have definitely gone up. Chicken sandwich w onion ring & a tea was like $14. Then they want to complain & be bitter about credit card processing charges, so they childishly hung a sign notifying the public that we, the customer, will incur the 3% cost of processing on top of our over-priced food. So stupid. You already charge over 3 bucks for a soda, how much do you really need to make? read more

This store is filthy and only has one working toilet. After 20 minutes, we're still waiting for our food... So, we ordered blizzards while we're waiting. They made one of them wrong and it had peanut butter in it. (My wife is allergic to peanuts) No straws, no ketchup, and the staff is obviously frustrated as well. And... Here's our food! Order is wrong. read more

This is the smallest, and I believe oldest Dairy Queen in Mineral Wells, but its the one dearest to my heart, I grew up for the first part of my life living right down the street from here, so when we were deserving of a treat, Mom would send us money in hand to the Dairy Queen to get an ice cream! I grew up loving this place, particularly this location! read more

Wonderful, well cooked food from friendly servers. Head and shoulders above the other Dairy Queen in town. Has been owned by the same family for 3 generations. read more

Not impressed. We just ordered ice cream and though the attendant was pleasant she failed to cover I order, the ice cream was runny, and the blizzard didn't get the upside-down challenge. I need the upside-down event, it makes me happy. read more

Clean, friendly, always amazing food. The best Dairy Queen...the others can't compare. Love, love, love the soft serve ice cream. Make a stop at this DQ, you will be glad you did. read more

Eh. This place is clean, this place is a newer dairy queen. It's obvious. HOWEVER it cost me nearly $5.00 for a small sweet tea and a large order of fries. Ridiculous in my opinion. Not only that, the staff seemed..well not exactly UN friendly but not exactly hospitable either. And it took 10 minutes to get an order of regular fries at 3PM whilst it was very unbusy. This DQ just fell short. read more

BEST chili cheese burgers and onion rings around !!! The employees and the owners are very friendly and make you feel at home.
