whataburger is one of my favorite fast food restaurants. We got 2 junior burgers and fries and a small patty for our dog. It was just the right amount. read more

Well it is no surprise that this place so rated 2 stars, I'll tell you that for free!!! I was driving around with my lovely friends and we decided we needed a thirst quencher and a bit of a snack to nibble on, so we go through the drive through and what do you know... they forgot my friend Sharon's drinks.!!! So I say Sharon you pull back around there as Sharon is quite shy and didn't want to complain... All we had was a simple order of fries and a few drinks... this generation cannot complete a simple order... I am throughly disappointed! I would not recommend this pain on anyone and neither would poor Sharon's dry scratchy throat... read more

Terrible decision to stop in the AM. Service was very slow. Food was cold. My cold coffee was horrible. This is only the second time to stop at this Wataburger, I thought I would let them redeem themselves from the first terrible visit, but I guess they didn't. I will not stop there again for anything. read more

Yep, I would agree with the 2 star rating. Went there about 2:45 pm. Food was lukewarm, especially the French fries. They must have been leftover since lunch hour. First time back to whataburger in a long time. Really disappointed. Won't be back for another long time! read more

Get ready to be stuck in line for 40 minutes while the cashier complains that they can't do anything. When you finally get the food it's cold and soggy- not even fresh. So what are they even doing? 0 stars if I could. read more

Have always loved the freshness and taste of the food here....Went by this morning ( 9/1/22 ) at 7 30 AM and walked in to get 2 sausage biscuits.... Stood waiting over 20 minutes for my order and watched 2 girl's running the place, one cooking and one taking inside orders and working drive thru....when finally getting my order the biscuit was hard and seemed left over from previous day's, sausage cold, all seemed like had been left on the warming tray for too long.......Very slow service, poor food quality, and was late for my scheduled meeting.....I don't think these problems at this location is from lack of competent help availability, I suspect it is from Corporate greed of not wanting to pay wages for enough people to give good service.....Whataburger is sure going downhill.........fast In reading others reviews, how is this place given a 4 star rating ???? The majority of the written reviews are all 1 star, very lousy, evidently the manager here is related to someone higher up in Corporate and kept here at a struggling location so as to not mess up a better franchise......she needs to go... read more

Walked in since drive-thru was busy and long lines to order (3) sandwiches only "to go". After checking on order every 15 mins and being told each time they're being made just them each time, we finally got our (3) sandwiches only after 45 mins with no restitution or apology from management whom eventually had to make our sandwiches. Great fast food training; NOT!!! read more

Always good! First time to this one but food great as always. Good service and hometown attitudes

I went in last week to have a meal replaced. I had contacted Amanda Rios thru an online address. Amanda was sorry for the cold meal I received and said she would replace it. I went in and spoke with Jojo and I heard her tell an employee to drop fresh onion rings and you think they would cook fresh patties but no they did not they need to replace the grill cook he controls the freshness of the food he puts out. I stopped the the other morning because I had a coupon for there jalapeño breakfast sandwich and I will say it was good, I will not return for burgers. read more

I'd leave 0 stars if I could. Sat in the drive thru over 45 minutes (trapped in and couldn't leave) and when we got the to window no one was working and all the employees were just playing around throwing stuff at each other like children while tons of people were waiting in line. read more

The food is pretty good when you get the right order...do not, I repeat do not go here if you are on your way to work. You will be late every time...spent 40 min in line one time. Min time is about 20 min. Customer service more often than not is non existant. I've had really good customer service a couple of time but it's very few and far between. read more

I will never be coming back to this Whataburger location. The management doesn't know how to control their staff. The lady who took my order was super hateful and slammed my cup down in front of me. read more

Best burger in town but very slow. I have been here many times and the wait is always the same. New meaning to fast food.

Well I'm done, last chance given. 25 to 40 minutes for drive through and my burger is never correct. Now get this, all that time waiting on the burger and the fries are always uncooked in the middle, they rush them. Mineral Wells location SUCKS, go to one in any town next to us and it's just fine. read more

Place is a joke, I have given it so many chances and still same result. SLOW!!! You might has well let the employees order for you because you will not get what you ordered ever!!! 10 employees in the back and the lady at the counter can hardly make eye contact with the customer much less small talk. Go to Sonic those girls can at least talk and usually are so helpful and they know the point to fast food!!! Won't be back again. read more

If there is one thing I miss MOST about Texas - its WHATABURGER!! I love this place, almost every town in Texas has a WHATABURGER and if you've lived in Texas long, then you've eaten there, if you grew up in Texas, then you grew up eating these amazing GIANT burgers - super great fries...... and to die for milk shakes! Every Whataburger is the same..... and YES I KNOW they have the slowest service in the world, but its worth the wait! Dont believe me? Try going years without one!! I LOVE YOU WHATABURGER!!!!!!!! read more

I ordered the very messy sandwich buffalo ranch in drive thru and y'all gave me no napkins. Come on people! I had to go inside and get some and yes I said something while I was in there. Just wanted to let y'all know again!!! read more

This place just does not function. They are very slow and have now messed up our order three times in A row. I love Whataburger, just not this one. The man taking the order gets very annoyed when you ask him to correct it. We will go to other locations in the future. read more

Joke of a restaurant can't make a single order right and can't properly keep the drive thru moving will never go back.

Stopped in for 2 shakes and an order of fries. There were 4 employees standing at the counter. Only 1 person seemed able to take an order. We had to wait on that same employee to make the shakes because one of the others standing around told us it wasn't his job when we asked where the shakes were. That same employee continued to make snide remarks as he just walked around. Not impressed with this place. Definitely need to improve work ethic and customer service. read more

Slowest Whataburger EVER! I have turned around and left way more times than I have ever actually placed an order at this particular location. If you are placing an order in the drive through and there is a full line of cars in front of you, expect AT LEAST a 20 minute wait. I have found it significantly faster to cut onions, lettuce, tomatoes and cook a real burger on the grill at home than pay $20+ dollars to have them make me 2 burger meals any any time of the day or night at this location...and for crying out loud...fix the drive through overhang! It looks like a trailer park Whataburger because someone hit the building and has not been fixed in like a year!!! Duct tape on your building is not a good look for a national chain! read more

The patty on my burger was hard... I asked for avocado on my burger which they advertise... and I didn't get any. and I got hardly any mayo on my burger.. all in all, it was crappy service.. read more

Line took 45 minutes to get our food. When we received our food it was cold. They could have at least made the food later instead of letting it sit out for 15 minutes. To be fair they were really nice at the window but I won't be back to this one! read more

WORST location in Texas, every employee and manager needs to be sent to another location to see how it should be done.

This location has steadily declined for months. Order was completely wrong, after 1st having them give me someone elses order. WB jr, was meat and bread only, my Dr Pepper came in a coffee cup. WTh read more

The food is only okay and it's pretty expensive for what it is. About the same quality as jack n the box right across the street. I gave it two stars because the burger was not really good at all and then with in 5 hours I had horrible food poisoning. I know it was the whataburger because I hadn't eaten anything else in like 18 hours. Also others I have known felt poorly after eating whataburger there as well. Not a great place. read more

We ordered and paid the jalapeño cheeseburger combo meal. When we got home to enjoy our meals, we found the food cold and no jalapeños! I've been a fan of whataburger, but the last few times I've been disappointed with the product and incorrect order. read more

This Whataburger is quite possibly the most delicious establishment in Mineral Wells. My patty melt had three patties, three unsolicited patties. Three. And each one was amazing. read more

worst whataburger in the chain. I get hungry for a whataburger and after two or three months forget how bad this one is Meat on burgers is usually cold. They always screw up my order. Last time I went through the drive through I got a plain burger when I paid for one with double cheese and bacon. It was late and I was already home. My receipt said lemon pie and a bunch of stuff I didn't order. Last time I made a report about them on the whataburger website. I was never cknowledged. read more

Solid. A good Whataburger. It's fast food - what do you expect? It's clean; food is fresh and hot...and OH, by the way, it's super YUMMY! The onion rings are the best I've had anywhere. read more

Super friendly staff. Faster than most Whataburgers. I like the new healthier food choices. Food quality is excellent.

This location has gone downhill and quickly. I know they cook their food fresh to order and that's why the wait is so long, but that's not the big issue. In the last 3 months, not a single time have I ordered, did I received all of the food I paid for. They offer me a free replacement the next time I come in, but wouldn't it be easier to receive the food the first time around? It's inconvenient that i have to drive BACK to the restaurant to get my food and go back to home and the rest of it be cold. Now, they're trying to speed up their out-the-window times and the meat isn't done all the way. It's not so bad that you'd get sick, but it's bad enough where you're sick of seeing pink in your burger every time you order. I've always been a fan of Whataburger, just wish this one would step it's game up... read more

i usually have a good experience here with decent food. this afternoon i got 2 meals for me and my dad while im home for the weekend from college. i was in a wonderful mood until i came across these employees. the woman that took my card to pay snatched it out of my hand and never said a word to me. then i got to the second window and a blonde girl who didn't have a mask on her nose and mouth which is disgusting when you're serving me food during a pandemic whipped the window open and yelled "did you have a sweet tea and unsweetened tea???" and i said "yes?" Very confused as to why she was being rude. she basically threw the drinks and me and they had nearly NO ICE and i have worked in fast food and know that tea is brewed and not cold so you have to put quite a bit of ice for it to be cold. before i could get my sentence out asking why there was no ice she yelled the machine wasn't filled. well that isn't my job. it's yours and i shouldn't be yelled at for it. she whipped it open again and asked rudely if i wanted ketchup and i said yes please and she aggressively grabbed ONE KETCHUP for my TWO MEALS. very bad experience and i will not be coming back. read more

What-a-burger..almost just how I like it. One of my favorite places for a quick burger and they give you a Texas sized fast food serving compared to McDonald's and BK. Triple with bacon, a heart attack has never tasted so good. Had drive through problems so I went inside. The drink fountain was clean which, sadly enough, is something that must be mentioned after visiting some other places here. The fries are good if you eat them first. DO NOT let them get cold or even luke warm for that matter. Service was ok the drive-through lady had major issues understanding me. English was not her original language in her defense. After the order was finally correct it was a meal I have been waiting on for a month. I LOVE these burgers, it's a shame the fries don't match. If you are aiming for one of the best fast food meals, pair this burger with some McDonalds fresh fries and eat your sorrows away. read more

Me and my friend were passing through town and decided to pull over into whataburger and have something to eat. My friend is very specific as to what she eats and how she eats it, so she made sure that the cashier got her order correct the way she wanted it before paying for it, which is no onions, no pickles, add mayo, add grilled jalapeños and patty well done. Once we sat down and they brought our burgers to the table, she began to inspect her burger and found that grilled jalapeños, that she had paid for, were not on the burger and that the meat was not well done. She told the cashier about the mistake and she waited until they brought her out another burger, only to find out that the there were onions on the burger. At this point she was just frustrated and told the kind lady that it was fine like it was, that she would take the onions off. Point is, if you offer the option to request an item a specific way make it right the first time because it is frustrating and irritating when it takes more that one time to get it correct. read more

Stopped for fast food in a hurry traveling. Not sure if they lost our order or what. Only know everyone there before and after us had eaten and some had even left. We still waited. 35-45 min we waited. Went to inquire and was told there was only 1 order in front of us as they called for #9 to come get their order. WE WERE #4. AND WE WERE STILL WAITING..... I gave them 5 more min. Still NO sign of them even working on our order. Went and asked for a refund only to be huffed at and puffed at by the manager. The manager NEVER offered an apology or explanation. The ONLY thing she did was act like she was put out that we wanted a refund. I did feel very sorry for the only girl who tried to help us and felt bad for her. She should be the one managing the place in my opinion. She was the ONLY one in there who seemed to care! She was very professional and polite. My dad was traveling with us. He said he'd never eat at another Whataburger. read more
