Went in Wednesday morning to pickup breakfast the staff were very helpful. Service was fast and food was great.

After driving for 12 hours from New Mexico we found ourselves in mineral wells Texas craving jack! We almost hit numerous street walkers on the way in, so watch out! Upon arrival we were the only ones inside the restaurant. Proceeded to wait 4 minutes at the counter without even being acknowledged. Once we started drumming on the counter we were greeted by an employee with the worlds biggest pupils. He was rolling sack. Anyways after ordering I went to the bathroom to wash my hands *tip bring your own hand towels as they don't have any in there!*. After cringing while grabbing the handle to open door, I glanced at the clock and it had already been two minutes and we still had 8 to go before we would get our food. That's okay because it took all that time to find a clean table! After finally getting our food we devoured it! If it wasn't for the greasy goodness this place would be getting 1 star. read more

I do not go to Jack in the Box often but when I do they are usually fast. Key to being a Fast Food restaurant. But this Jack in the Box is so slow. I waited in the drive thru line for 30 minutes. 20 of which was at the spot to order. There was nobody in the parking lot and one person in front of me. This Jack in the Box sucks. I don't even want to give one star!!!! We sat there for 40 min to an hour. Finally got irritated. They didn't even have our order!!!! After taking it and us paying!!! Wtf??!!they asked what we ordered. When we asked to see the manager the employee said she didn't know who that was!!!! read more

I wish l could give this a zero star!!!!!!!!! No working bathroom sink!!? When we told the employees they didn't care. There was no one there but yet all the tables were still dirty. What can one really say about this place...... I've been eating here most of my life, back when the drive thru speaker you talked into was a clowns face!!! Its always the same, but with constantly fresh ideas, new menu items, funny commercials, open late, serves breakfast ALL day and steady cheap prices. I've eaten in, taken out, and gone through the drive thru all hours of the day and night- all of which has been a great experience, never have any problems. My favorite foods at Jack N The Box........ Jumbo Jack Combo - this is your basic hamburger, thats a good size with lots of fresh veggies on it and a to-die-for secret sauce (which isnt a secret because I have figured out how to make it myself!) I also love their natural "home style" cut fries but their seasoned curly fries are the bomb! Heck even their sodas are great - the blue straws...... yes I too LOVE the blue straws! The very best is those mysterious tacos!!! 2 for .99 cents - they are fried, and greasy and even a little scary but DAMNIT they are soooooo good! Even better if your slightly inebriated! Their breakfast food is great too.... I always get the ultimate breakfast sandwich, hash-brown, and OJ. Other items I love from here are...... Egg Rolls - greasy and crispy Mac N Cheese Bites - heaven in a tiny paper bag Milk Shakes (yummy as well as pretty with whip cream and a cherry) Orange Juice Smoothie (I love the commercial too) Stuffed Jalapenos Ultimate Cheese Burger Cheesecake - new york style in a little package all ready for you to inhale Also they have special shakes around the holidays - like pumpkin or egg nog - you gotta try those. Placed my order in the drive through...waited my turn to pay and pick up my food...and was informed at that time that they are only accepting cash at that time. What kind of special employees does it take to realize that it would be a good idea to inform a customer at the time of purchase, before the food is already made, and the customer has been waiting in line for 15 minutes, to be proactive about wasting time and money by making it known at the time of an order "WE ONLY ACCEPT CASH". To boot, what kind of credit card machine do they have that does not work at random times. I can accept credit cards in my phone at any time, day or night...but a major chain fast food restaurant can't accept a nationally recognized form of payment? Very odd behavior...meth induced? I love Jack in the box but this one is the absolute worst I have ever been to. The service is terribly slow. I ordered 1 meal and waited for 30 minutes in the drive thru. The food is awful. The tacos are hard and over cooked and the fries are always cold and stale like they made them in the morning and let them sit all day. Will not be back. read more

The last three times I have eaten here the food was served immediately, which is a good thing, but the bad thing was the food was cold. It seems that the cooks pre cook the food in anticipation of what will be ordered and place it under the heat lamp. My food was thrown away after a few bites. This has happened three times in a row. read more

Walked in with family early evening, no other customers in line. Stood there for almost 10 minutes waiting to be helped while employees just ignored us and worked the drivethru. This place just seriously needs some new management. It's sad when the employees are better than the management staff. Employees rushing around doing what they can to help every customer and the manager just standing around not caring about anything. And when she does speak she is so rude. I only stop here because my kids love the mini pancakes. I'm fixing to change their taste buds tho lol. Cuz my B switch will flip next time. read more
