worst place ever! junky store, junky signage, hard to read outdoor menu, drive up is pitiful and servers are less than desired! I went there for a soft serve ice cream in the drive up. Could not hear the person at all, drove up to the window and waited, and waited, and waited. I was the only person in the drive up so wondered what was taking so long. The front of the store was all torn up and when I drove up didn't see any cars there. When the server finally appeared and handed me a cone with his bare hands, I asked for a napkin. He said they didn't have any napkins. What??!!! no napkins?! I almost gave him back the ice cream. Ridiculous they even attempted to serve food (especially ice cream) with no napkins. This place is from back in the 70's. This store needs to be torn down it is in such bad shape. I will never go there again. It is hard to access as it is behind a Chevron station, and the drive up is so narrow you can see how many times the concrete post has been hit by drivers trying to navigate through. There is no discernable spot to order from, the speakers are not clearly marked. Drive past! go elsewhere! read more

My son went in today to get me a blizzard. He said medium chocolate with peanut butter cups. He gets up to the window and they try to hand him a vanilla blizzard. He tells them it's supposed to be chocolate,so they remake it. He brings it home to me and all it is, is a cup of chocolate ice cream not even any peanut butter cups at all. I called and told them and they won't do anything unless I bring it back. WTH. He drove 15 minutes there to get it, 15 minutes back home and should not have to drive all the way back because of their screw up. read more

Definitely not my favorite Dairy Queen I've been to, and while it's the only one in town Its not on my list to go to frequently. My first visit was nice, good blizzard, used my perks to get a free blizzard, but my second visit has been lackluster... service was great first time around and this time it was just brisk and okay. For reference this location doesn't do pup cups (who doesn't do pup cups in this day and age???). Instead they charge you for a small vanilla cup of ice cream per pup cup for $2.89 a piece. I ordered a large fudge sundae and the ice cream is good but there's not a ton of fudge for the amount of ice cream. The peanut butter parfait we ordered was good, but I'll stick to blizzards when I come here. read more

Friends had told me to try the $7 special at Dairy Queen. Although I was dubious, I went for something to do. i was pleasantly surprised. Upon entering, I noticed it was neat and clean. It had staff to accommodate the customers. I had the burger special and my wife had the chicken strip special. Both meals came hot and tasty with tons of fries. The waiter offered to hold the sundae that comes with the special until we were done with the meal. I expected a small sundae based on the $7 special. Once again, the surprise was the size. It was quite large. I will definitely try this place again. Good job!!! read more

Just got raw chicken at this location. Asked for money back, they laughed and were very rude. Never going back. I don't want some generic corporate response, pretending you care. If y'all care about your brand, you would shut this place down with the amount of complaints. Like I said, I don't want a generic bullshit response. It's like your cooperate window-lickers do not spend the time to actually read the reviews read more

Dairy Queen Grill & Chill - Raw chicken. Not even close to cooked - Fast Food Near Me - Maricopa, Arizona

Ordered a small blizzard like I have done several times all over the country. To my surprise it was in a junior size cup. Slightly larger than a Dixie cup. The cost ? $7.46 read more

Very nice employees, made it fun for my kids to get ice cream. It's the typical Dairy Queen menu, executed very well at this location.

If I could get this DQ a negative star review I would. This is the slowest and worst dq I've ever been to. I've been here a few times and it always sucks. Last time took over twenty minutes for two blizzards, all of them were wrong sizes and one was wrong flavor. This time they were out of pumpkin which is fine I get it your busy and sold out. So, I ordered different ones. Wait 15 minutes and get to the window for the guy at the window say oh I forgot to tell you the card machines down and he laughed. I said I don't have cash and he said sorry and I drove off. I'm not looking for free stuff but it was already made and I waited for him to laugh that he forgot the cc machine was down. Glad his times more valuable. I will never be to this dq again. I rather have a watered down McFlurry from down the road than come here again. read more

Slow as turtle drive thru!! Slow, Slow, Slow.. and always out of something. Sign on drive thru everytime I come here.

I was served uncooked hamburger. This is unacceptable. What makes it all worse when I went back and asked for a refund of my whole order, they declined to do so. I was told per policy they can refund only sandwich or make me a new one. Starting to think this was done intentionally. No manager was in. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

Love DQ! Wish you would keep more "cupcakes" on hand. Service is usually quick! Later hours on the weekend would be nice too.

Last time I went thru the drive thru I got a still-frozen corn dog and a blizzard that tasted like the smell of the store attached to it. DQ needs a serious upgrade and be separate from that nasty store!!!! And please remove the dumpster located right alongside the drive thru.....it's nasty. Look at all the negative reviews. This place needs to be closed and we need a brand new DQ set up somewhere else with all new management. This store is a real crap hole, but DQ doesn't seem to care at all. We always get that same stupid response from that blue-haired lady or whatever it is. Bought 2 large vanilla cones,1/24/21,the texture felt like it was infused with air. They didnt taste like cream.I spent almost $8.00 an inferior product. DO NOT EAT HERE. One, it's not a real store, you sit in the convenience store. I ordered a chili cheese dog and they brought it with zero napkins and the walk from the kitchen to my table is extremely short and somehow my chili ended up almost over, really? I asked the cashier if they had ice tea (they serve drinks, not a fountain) and the cashier had to go ask. And they brought our 3 drinks to the table one at a time, without straws. Seriously. Worst DQ ever! read more

WORST/ SLOWEST SERVICE IN THE WORLD! We waited for over 25 mins to order 2 meals, JUST TO ORDER. When we got to the window to pay, the girl laughed and said "We are actually out of the meat. Do you want something else?" So we ordered 2 chicken baskets. Watched 2 girls laughing and talking and waited ANOTHER 10mins and got our meals. This was beyond unacceptable. Never coming back to this location. read more

Worst place ever. I've been here a handful of times in 2+ years and have never gotten out of the drive through in less than 25 minutes. Horrible customer service. Seriously, who runs this place? Shame on you. Update: This DQ continues to be awful. Employees are rude. Still takes a half hour to get a blizzard. They've had a broken window boarded up for weeks. I think it's a front for a drug business or money laundering. Like seriously. read more

The worlds slowest DQ. Almost 25 minutes for two blizzards. The dude at the window was checking his phone.

do not be in a hurry. with no one in line, we ordered "ice cream".....took about 15 mins to get it..........they don't move that quickly behind the counter. Product and name are good read more

Worst service I have ever received, I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Took the lady 5 minutes to acknowledge my existences. Then an extra 20 just to get my blizzard! When I asked for it the lady gave me attitude, getting upset that I sat down at a table rather then wait by the register in a crowd of people. The places has flys all around. Working in the restaurants industry before I understand how orders get backed up but I had never let a costumer stand in line without being greeted. Please get on top of your employees about wearing proper work attire, last time I went through OSHA hand book sliders were never allowed. Only non slip shoes in a kitchen area. read more

Ok so I just bought a new house out here in maricopa been in my place for two months never seen a bug here at all and we are very clean people just yesterday I went to Dairy Queen here in maricopa for the first time and trust me the last ,so I get home start taking the food out of the bag and I see a roach walking under the dam bag this has to be a f+++++ joke man they need to clean this place out and I read other reviews about roaches at this location and they don't do shit about it this is how houses get roaches somebody needs to go see this place ASAP read more

Very rude and unprofessional staff. I was made to feel as if I was bothering them. The young black girl with her hat on backwards, who helped me at the drive-through, was extremely rude and acted if I was interrupting her break. I will definitely be sure to avoid this Dairy Queen in the future. The entire place needs to be renovated and cleaned up, its very dirty. An altogether unpleasant experience. I made the mistake of going back a second time and surprise surprise it was the same girl at the window. She was worse than before, but this time she had loud rap music playing and I could barely hear what she was saying. I should've known not to give a second chance. read more

extremely slow , at the pickup blizzards are usually liquid. if I could rate them lower I would.

If I could give this place a negative star I would. Ordered (9:15) Sat in the line for drive thru for 30 mins (stuck most of the time behind the building where they trap you so you can not leave) Get to window to pick up order, get Told "sorry the kitchen is closed, we close the kitchen 20 mins before close time, which on Friday nights is 10:00"......My reply "yeah but the order was placed at 9:15". Girl at window stands there with blank look on her face. So point taken DQ of Maricopa does not want business. Will never return. read more

It's okay... The blizzards are okay sometimes made incorrect . The problem I had was once I called this location about the hours and the girl who wears her hat on backwards ( I later came and she was the only girl working ) answered and I asked what the times were and she said the times they close and so then I asked her if that was the time she said because I was unsure and her response was " yeah you heard me bye " and hung up the phone.... very rude. read more

I had a blizzard as well as the flamethrower burger with fries and an extra side of onion rings. Staff was friendly and my order came out decently quick. The burger combo was pretty good! My Son turned 13 Saturday, he received a gift card for Dairy Queen, so Sunday night I took him, he wanted a Chocolate cake Blizzard, he was so happy, I didn't get anything, he ended up sick to his stomach, throwing up and the runs all night, this morning my wife took him to urgent care cause he had pain on his right side abdominal, and major discomfort, we thaught it was his appendix, ended up he has food poisoning, we pin pointed it was from Dairy Queen cause no one else in the family had Dairy Queen when he did and earlier in the day we all ate the same thing and no one else got sick, out of the six of us.
