I've only come for dessert so that's the only thing my review is based on. I live nearby and tend to frequent when it heats up outside. Most of my orders have been through the app and I've picked up via the drive thru. On one occasion I picked up inside since the drive thru line wrapped around the parking lot. The desserts are always tasty as expected and relatively affordable. They often run promotions, especially if you order on the app. Staff is friendly and I love that they get excited every time they see me pull up with one of my pups. read more

i always love coming to DQ a lot! I've been inside and the drive thru! if the drive is a bit long they are quick to power through it! The treats are always delicious and on point my only concern it appears the call box needs some repairs that the employees can't hear the orders correctly. Other than that everything here is great! Service is average no bad experiences and no outstanding service as well! read more

I go to this Dairy Queen pretty consistently and the blizzards are always good. However, I'd say maybe half the time my order is always wrong. I order the s'mores blizzard every time I go whenever it's in season but, I don't receive a s'mores blizzard half the time. As I'm writing this right now, I'm eating a cookies n' cream blizzard when I ordered a s'mores blizzard. I can't return it because they're now closed. It would be one thing if this happened once in a while, but my god it's like a 50/50 gamble if my order is going to be right whenever I go. read more

Make sure to ask for a receipt. They charged me for something I didn't order then refused to show me an original receipt.

The ice cream is great! No deviation from the menu. This location is always busy. Sometimes the dipped cones could get some love though. The chocolate layer is thin and ice cream is leaning which can be messy. Also, the lobby could use some TLC. Basic decor and pleasant service. read more

This was a horrible experience at Dairy Queen. I've gone to this location for years never again. Worst experience ever. I was buying a cake for my nephew. There were no Oreo ice cream cakes, which is fine. A man ahead of me was ordering and asked for an Oreo cake. Alexis, who was assisting, said, "Don't worry, I can make you one fresh." I told her I would like one too, and she said yes very nice young lady. As I was getting rung up, Kayla, who is supposed to be a manager, stepped in. I honestly don't know how she is in that position because her customer service was the worst. She asked what I wanted, and I told her I was waiting for an Oreo cake. She said, "No, you're not we're out." I explained that they were making me one. She said no and that she was about to clock out, then went to the back and started yelling at Alexis, who had been kind enough to offer to make the cakes. She told her she should have just said no and not make them. I couldn't believe my ears. She continued saying which made me feel so uncomfortable I have never experienced something like this . She came back to the front and said, very rudely and distastefully, that in the future we can only get what is already out and that they were only letting this happen this one time. She needs to be retrained there is no way she should be speaking to customers like that. She continued speaking under her breath to Alexis. When I asked her for her name, she got super defensive and kept going back and forth with me instead of handling the situation professionally. Completely unprofessional experience. Alexis was kind and helpful, but the manager's behavior was unacceptable. I won't be returning. read more

Long ass line every time we crave some ice cream but also closest drive thru ice cream place

My daughter was OBSESSED with Dairy Queen when she was a toddler. The first time we took her there was because my son wanted an ice cream cone for himself (drive-thru). After that, whenever we drove near a Dairy Queen, she assumed that we would know what to do. As soon as we passed Dairy Queen on the way to another place she would throw her little tantrum because it turned out that she was testing us. We had to turn back around to get her vanilla ice cream cone for the day. We later avoided that same road for future car rides, but she still managed to find the Dairy Queen COUPONS (flyer) that arrived with the mail. And she would point at the ice cream that she wanted. Oh well!!! Out of sight does NOT always mean out of mind. This location has a LIMITED menu (mostly hot dogs), so I am hoping that they will expand on that someday. We recently went to the Dairy Queen "Grill" in Oceanside (dine-in), and they have the full menu (variety of burgers, etc). We stayed in Oceanside for three weeks (Camp Pendleton), so we thought why not. By the way, Dairy Queen Grill in Oceanside does NOT have a drive-thru and it is ONLY street parking for this restaurant. On the plus side, it is a short walking distance to the beach/pier. We are fans of this place, but now we get this "fun food" on occasion (including her birthday). read more

$19.96 for my order Paid $20.96 they gave me $0.15 back and I had to explain to the girl I gave my money to I gave her a whole pile of dimes how could I have given $0.15 and why am I getting $0.15 back if you're saying I gave $0.15? Also all the blizzards were melted upon receiving them but I didn't want to hold up everyone else in line so I left. My ice cream is in the freezer to firm up. Terrible service. read more

My cupfection was great, I love sweet treat on a hot day! The employees are as nice as they can be when they're always busy running around. The only reason this review doesn't get a five star is because the old lady manager disrespects and belittles the employees right in front of the customer. Having worked in customer service for a couple years I can understand the pressures of a demeaning, rude, old person that thinks so highly of themselves. read more

Pleasantly surprised. I had an errand at O'Reilly's and this place was next to it. It was lunch time on a Wednesday and since I've never tried this DQ in 13 years that I've lived here, I figured why not. The inside is a little small and isn't a full fledge DQ like they are in Texas. They have all the deserts and ice cream stuff, but I wanted to try their simple menu. I got 2 chilli cheese combo that comes with a drink and chips for about 9 bucks with tax. It's not a huge hotdog, just regular size with the chilli having that classic taste. They use real cheese and not the melted nacho type stuff. They loaded it perfectly, not too much that it gets messy but you can still grab it, take a bite and it doesn't get all over the place. Best chilli dog? No, of course not but with the 2 dogs I got stuffed and didn't even touch the chips. I honestly didn't even know it came with chips, but no complaints because it's honestly a good meal for the money. Drive thru service was good and quick, the girl handed the bag to me as to not ruin the food in the bad. Not sure why this place has a poor rating, but I'd come back again if I'm in the mood for some chilli dogs read more

I was dreading to get off but to my surprise they have drive through so didn't even have to hop out of my car with my kid. If Yelp offered any way to give a zero star, wow, this would be a perfect time to do so Where should I begin? I had ordered 12 items about a month ago from this location thinking everything was OK. my family & I went to go pick it up. It was a mobile order. When we got home, we noticed three items were missing, one was incorrect. By the time we got home, this location was closed was not able to contact. Waited till the following day, called during the afternoon and was told by an employee that they were too busy if I could call back later to speak with the manager. I was respectful I waited. Called back a few days later just to be fastly, told that the manager was gonna look into it to please leave my number. Never was told anything else, after haven't explained myself multiple times to the manager, her name that she provide(could be wrong I don't know) Her name was Kayla, really rude definitely not polite to anyone on the phone. I don't know if it's because she's behind the phone. She could talk the way she wants. Telling a customer that they need to stop calling in over a complaint is foul. I spent an extra $25 on items that I have not received It is definitely disrespectful to speak with any customer or guest like that under no circumstance. I called back today just to see what was going on because Kayla had mentioned to me that I was gonna get a call back from the corporate yesterday. And yet it's been a month and I'm still waiting for my items to at least be returned to me because they don't do refunds. I was told they were gonna look back on cameras She's Practically stating that I'm lying. So I was on the phone right now asking if maybe she could contact her manager again and I was hung up on So if anyone wanted to come to this location and deal with so-called manager, Kayla I hope you all realize and know the kind of Idiot remarks you have to deal with I had asked for a refund her response , " It does not work that way Okay, You Domt just get a refund because you ask for it, Higher ups will review the footage and will contact you later today" still have yet to received a call and this was a order from 3/26/25 For Kayla to speak with me that way when I was just a paying, customer not too long ago Is disrespectful, my phone is a company phone it automatically records calls so for me to be able to go back listen to them and yet I still felt disrespected, it's horrible and blatantly disgusting to treat customers like that when you were just taking there money no too long ago! Like I said this Yelp review should show anybody higher at Dairy Queen than Kayla that they are losing really good customers, especially paying ones almost every week Over a small customer complaint that can Be fixed and corrected that's it. Kayla You should really reconsider talking to guest the way you do especially working in the food industry Yes, I understand customers can legit be rid and yes some maybe even get rowdy But I was At most my calmest everytime I have contacted and to feel like i'm causing problems just over getting 4 items I was charged for yet never received ! it's ridiculous and disappointing Dairy queen Corporate, Please contact me I wouldn't be surprised your so called "manager" Kayla didn't even Refer the message! if that's even the right name i'm being told. Like I said If I COULD LEAVE 0 STARS this review would should 0/5 stars Horrible Horrible Service read more

Old lady with the ugly bob was sooo rude to her employees. I don't know how she's "manager" or whatever she is. Someone needs to humble her or straighten her up. She didn't even greet any one. NOM NOM NOM You can't go wrong with any of the options here. Everything is good which makes it so hard to choose. I prefer the Misty Float. It's a slushy with their ice cream in the middle. A oldie but goodie - and something you should try if your looking for something different. Very similar to like a creamsicle vibes. A con is the pup cup. Online says its a soft serve with doogie treat or whipped creams with a doggie treat and gratis... but its not. Pro Tip: Get a cup from DQ and fill it up with whipped cream for a pup cup at home. Your pups won't even know the difference. read more

If I could give a zero I would ... this is coming from someone who visits this location often I've never had any issues needing to be resolved before but recently we purchased a blizzard (made incorrectly) we reached out to management in regards to the situation and was connected with a manager by the name of James who was very rude and unprofessional he completely disregarded the incorrect order and falsely stated that we had been made aware of the incorrect items which we had not been he didn't even further look into the situation we offered to return the ice cream and even pay the difference for what we desired he denied us of that as well. Upon reaching out today I talked to another manager who was rude as well by the name of Kayla who was of no help as well I am seeking upper management and the owner simply due to the lack of customer service and the complete disrespect and disregard ! This location will no longer be one that I visit read more

Unfriendly staff who hates their job apparently. Ambiance feels tense when I'm in the drive thru but I pray their blizzard treats are good.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE! Customer service is so bad and unprofessional. One of the young ladies that was helping me in the drive-through window was completely rude to me, and rolled her eyes about every time I asked a simple question. I got a gift card for my birthday and it had $20 on it. I had just took it out of the birthday card. It had never been used. I had just ordered a cone and a medium size blizzard - when I got to the window and gave her the gift card. She said I still owed about eight dollars. Which was a surprise to me considering the gift card had $20 on it and it had never been used. However, I still paid and I asked politely for my gift card back that way I could look up the balance when I got home and see what happened since it had never been used before. She then proceeded to give me a whole different gift card that wasn't mine and proceeded to tell me that it was mine. I knew it wasn't mine because I had wrote $20 in pen on the back of mine. She then went on talking mockingly and rudely to her employees about me asking for the gift card back. She then sent over a another employee (male) He asked me if I could move to a space in the front. I said OK and I politely asked again for the lady's name that was helping me previously because she was so rude and he wouldn't give it to me. I then asked for his name and I'm pretty sure he gave me a fake name stating his name was Gregg. Overall, just very terrible experience. Owners definitely need to look on who they're hiring because a bunch of young, unprofessional, rude employees are not the best for a business. I wish I could give zero stars! I just paid $20 bucks for a bag of a dozen dilly bars. I'm used to that; I get them all the time--but NEVER at this one again! The shorted me at LEAST an ounce of ice cream in each dilly bar, so they were 3/4 size at best. The dip was inconsistent as though they did not stir it while making them. (I used to work at a Dairy Queen). All of the bars had smooshed curls and most were cracked badly. I seriously want my money back! I'm adding photos of a normal size chocolate dilly bar and the cheap cheater cherry dilly bars I received. This photo doesn't show the inconsistency in the dip. Trust me on that. They didn't stir. This place doesn't deserve to be called a DQ. I'm so disappointed I'll likely throw these away and go to the DQ on Magnolia in Riverside. Don't waste your time or money here. I tried to contact them directly but they did not answer their phone, and the comment box on the DQ website was disabled. read more

I came here with my family after work and we were treated poorly by the workers in drive thru. We weren't able to get their name but she had an attitude while taking our order. We were not being difficult with her at all but her tone and energy was just not there. We understand that it's fast food but it was so obvious that she was trying to get the interaction over with and it was so rushed. We had asked if she could repeat our order and she seemed bothered to even do that. When we asked for her name another worker tried to "apologize" for her and say that she had been there for "four hours". It might have been a long day for her but the way she talked to us was unacceptable and unfair. Customer service was not good but we were thankful for the ice cream. read more
