A big location with lots of parking and seating. We did the drive thru and it was pretty quick. The staff are really friendly. We ordered a couple of dipped cones and they were made quick and tasted delicious. I like how this location is open later than most businesses around; they close at 11:00pm on Saturday nights.

6/25/20 Hey! $12.00 an hour, we're making progress here.

6/24/20 There are times one can do the drive thru and there are times one can walk up and order your food. This is the ladder The wait in the drive thru was not worth our time so walked over to the restaurant and placed an order. Dairy Queen is an okay place, but I did not order anything, because I had already had peach cobbler. Still, the service was faster than ordering through the drive thru. I think the walk up is a better choice.

    Weird Misty Slush stand in

The slush machine was down the night I went by, so they attempted to blend ice with grape flavor to create a make shift Misty Slush. It was totally disgusting and I don't recommend. There was no sugar or flavor, which was odd. The drive thru was fast and I commend the employees for trying. However, they should have offered to give it to me for free since it was an experiment.

    Not ranch. Hot gravy.

Update: after reading other reviews, I'm realizing that the replacing ranch with hot gravy isn't a one-off thing. They apparently do this all the time. Nasty. This place is a hot mess. Probably my worst drive thru experience ever. Got to the window and they told me that they needed to remake my milkshake because a fly got in the last one. Cool. I got my shake and they told me to pull around and wait for them to bring my food out. Ok. Except for that the driveway isn't big enough and they were to behind on bringing peoples orders out which caused a huge traffic jam and no one could get out of the drive thru. I wait 20min and finally my food comes out. I drive off. I open my 4 piece tender meal and it it turns out they gave me plain instead of honey bbq. Whatever, at this point I'm just hungry. Then I go to dip my tender in the ranch and realize, it's not ranch. It's some kind hot hot gravy. Probably sausage gravy. Gross. I'm never going here again.

I love Dairy Queen and this one doesn't disappoint! The workers were very kind, all had masks on (but weren't covering their noses) and made the ice cream quickly. This DQ has a drive thru or a walk-up option. It wasn't too crowded at 5 pm on a Wednesday but I'm sure it can get very busy in the evenings during high season.

Great experience! Dairy Queen is one of my favorite chain fast-food restaurants. So, I had to stop here while visiting for work. This particular Dairy Queen is so cute! It's old and shows history. I enjoy the "order at the window" service; which is something I'm not use to! If the weather was warm, I would have sat in the patio to enjoy my sweet treat. The young lady who served me was kind! I ordered my favor the Oreo Brownie Cupfection! It was great; however, the serving size of ice cream was smaller than what I'm used to. Overall, great as always. Strongly recommend.

    A mini blizzard

Just came here from out of town and they don't listen to you ordering. My boyfriend said a medium blizzard for one flavor and a mini for another flavor... They gave us two minis. If we come back again in vacation we won't be getting ice cream from here

    Dairy Queen Milkshake

This is Absurd. I ordered whipped cream on my strawberry milkshake. At first, the lady tried to give it to me without whipped cream. Then, we told her we asked for whipped cream then she took it back and added whipped cream and it only filled 1/10 of the space it was supposed to. They gave us barely any at all. FINALLY, she had the audacity to ask us if we paid after she already took my card swiped it and returned it.

Great food, but this is the most expensive DQ I've been too. $4 for a mini blizzard is not something you should be paying.

I woke up...and had a delicious time! The reviews here tell you how great this place is, and well...believe them! I thought for sure it would be over-hyped and not live up to what people write and say, but I will admit to being wrong. First, our server, Krickett, was agreed upon (by my partner and I) to be the best server we have ever had. She was friendly, outgoing, had good recommendations, and an all-around joy. Second, the food! Wow! My partner had a salad...simple enough, right? But no, she was amazed by it. And she is a vegetarian, so she has had a lot of salads over the years. This one blew her away. I had the grilled chicken sandwich. Was it life-changing? No. But it was way better than what a grilled chicken sandwich normally is. It was tender, juicy, with just the right seasoning. I would be a criminal if I didn't mention the bruschetta...get it with the burrata...it is worth it! The crispy bread with balsamic drizzle is good enough with the diced tomato mix, but the cheese gives it a new level. And, I hope you saved room for dessert, because the key lime pie was a mouth explosion.

The restaurant has two distinct dining areas: the front section is first-come first-served bar seating that offers the full menu. The back section, which would be ideal for families, holds about 30 tables, mostly booths, with the hostess stand. We chose to sit at the bar and had a great experience. We started with bruschetta topped with burrata cheese. I ordered the angel hair pasta in a white garlic butter, cream sauce with marinated chicken and grilled vegetables. My husband ordered the special hamburger with Swiss cheese bacon, spinach and mayo with a side of fries. We ended with slices of the key lime pie that didn't disappoint! The food, service, staff and environment were exceptional! We overheard the Server mention that veterans receive complementary meals on Veterans Day, which speaks volumes about how this restaurant supports those who have served. If you are in the Outer Banks- whether you're staying in Kill Devil Hills or nearby- this restaurant is worth the drive and all the hype!

After one visit, I completely understood why he kept coming back! The restaurant has the perfect laid-back beach atmosphere. The bright, colorful décor immediately puts you in vacation mode and creates a fun, welcoming environment. My son ordered the mussels and the salmon. The mussels were the standout of the meal--steamed perfectly and served in a rich, garlicky white wine broth that was so good you could easily soak it up with bread until the bowl was empty. The salmon was beautifully prepared, looked fantastic, and judging by the empty plate, he thoroughly enjoyed every bite. I played it a little safer and ordered the fish and chips, and I have zero regrets. The fish was perfectly fried with a crispy, golden coating while staying flaky and tender inside. It was seasoned well and full of flavor. And as someone who can never resist great fries, these definitely hit the mark--hot, crispy, and the perfect complement to the fish. Between the delicious food, relaxed beach vibes, and friendly atmosphere, Noosa Grill made for a very enjoyable dining experience. It's easy to see why it's become a favorite among both locals and seasonal visitors. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the OBX!

Our service was great. But the food, sub par. Soft drinks were "odd" for lack of better word. So I returned it for a beer cause, why not. Sweet tea was so sweet that we had to dilute it with water. We can handle that. The food would have been great, had they used ANY SEASONING at all. Everything tasted as tho the kitchen lost all S&P privileges. I had the prime rib w/ au jus. Meat was tender and onions cooked nicely. But it definitely didn't match the description which was something like "on a hoagie bun topped with garlic and butter." It was not. Which would have really helped carry the no seasoning deal. Au jus, had great potential, just no flavor. I ended up eating the meat alone and left the bread. Wife got the Reuben. Which was overall ok. Much more flavor than mine. But only bc of the sauerkraut. Oldest daughter got the BYO burger, with cheese and pickle. The burger was clearly a frozen patty from the store. As clearly defined by the shape of the patty. She ate half and the other half sits in the fridge as I type, from 2 nights ago. (I usually eat all the leftovers) I leave this review in hopes that the management and kitchen staff will start to properly season their food. Arts has great potential. But not without seasoning!
