I love Dairy Queen! There are to find these days by me so i definitely wanted to stop since i was in the area. It's almost like an old barn? I believe but it's a cool looking building and it fits. There's plenty of parking and they also have a limited hot food menu, which is basically hot dogs with options. The ice cream was delicious as usual. The vibes are just the best though, the barnyard shape and the parking lot just makes you want to hang out. One of the better DQs I've been to. The area is clean and the building, like someone mentioned, is well maintained; it looks as if it was recently built. Of all the items available, I went for the Royal NY Cheesecake Blizzard (with vanilla ice cream). It wasn't the best looking Blizzard, but it tasted great. There was plenty of cheesecake mixed in, and the middle was filled with strawberries. We also ordered a shake and a Chocolate Extreme Blizzard. DQ was generous with the large chunks of chocolate mixed in. I found everyone here to be pretty friendly, but there was one employee--wears glasses and has her hair in a ponytail--who started a shouting match with someone in my family. So to say I wad dissatisfied is an understatement . I've been coming to this location for about 20 years now . The rude staff and the 15$ worth of ice cream was thrown in the garbage minutes after receiving it nothing tasted good . I haven't felt such a nasty attitude from young women who act like ordering ice cream is a chore . I will never patronize this establishment again . The blizzard I ordered which is supposed to be flipped upside down or it's free wasn't . Paid for extra pieces of candy that weren't there . My sons earthquake had little ice cream but tons of whipped cream which we asked not to be put on . With that being said I'll stick to fro yo... this place has really changed . They got my order wrong. And how the situation was handled was disappointing. I called my order in and when I was told the flavors in a standard cake included a crunch, I asked to clarify if the crunch is the same as the Nestle crunch. The lady gave me a snappish reply and asked, "have you ever had a DQ cake before?" I responded respectfully and said no, I have not. She just restated the flavors and dissed my question and expected me to just accept what she said. In my mind I thought, I wouldn't ask the question if I had it before. Or even if I did, maybe I had it years ago and forgot what it is because DQ is not part of my daily or even weekly or even monthly intake. What's wrong with trying to get clarification on your product? Fast forward to the time I came to pick up my order. The design of the cake was not what I ordered it to be. The same lady I spoke with on the phone came by to tell me that was not what I ordered and that otherwise she would have written down what I ordered. She was so sure that she could not have possibly gotten it wrong. There was no apology at all. This lady was so full of it....Her name was Robin. I didnt bother to argue. It was not worth it. As for the cake itself, it was a bit on the sweeter side for me but my daughter liked the ice cream! And for that reason, I'm giving a 2-star rating! read more

Almost every time we go there is a middle aged blonde haired woman with glasses who always has an attitude not only with us but we have witness her address other customers with the same rude, mean & unprofessional demeanor. The only reason I go so often is because I literally live around the corner from them. I am not really a big fan of ice cream anymore, but sometimes I am just REALLY craving a Brownie Earthquake. I like Dairy queen and my review it's not about what i purchase but about my experience with the girl therw today. Let's just say I won't be returning to this location. A very nice young guy took my friends order but a girl who came from the back took mine. She not only gave me attitude when i asked her for a smoothie in a different cup (knowing that the other cup was not gonna hold it all as she said). I told her i was fine wi th that but as she turned around to where the blender was, she told the guy "idiots, that makes no sense". I said i heard that by the way but they did not hear or did not want to. So that's the reason for my 2 stars. I understand it's the day before Thanksgiving and she maybe didn't want to be there but as a business you need to sell, need to respect and be mindful of what you say. read more

I have been to this Dairy Queen many times over the years and have always thought it was a fantastic place, but something has changed with the staff this summer. The last two times I have been there with my children the employees were visibly stoned. One time I asked for a vanilla cone to be dipped in chocolate. This usually takes 30 seconds to a minute to be handed to me. This particular time I had to wait 7 minutes for my chocolate dipped cone to be handed to me after I had already paid. Tonight I took my children to this same Dairy Queen and ordered two sundaes and a small blizzard and paid for everything at the window. The sundaes came out somewhat slowly, but the blizzard took these girls four times to get it right. I finally just walked away without the blizzard because I was so disgusted. The girls behind the window were hysterically laughing the entire time they were trying to make the blizzard. The manager needs to hire some new employees. read more
