I went there with my younger sister and a 15 dollar gift card. I gave them the card and waited for the ice cream. When I waited to be ringed up the guy told me we can't accept that. He didn't speak english really well. I got the other worker over there and he told me that they did accept gift cards they just don't know how to do it. Only TWO of the workers know how to use it. What kind of employees don't know how to use it. It should be one of the first things taught. read more

I've been going to this DQ for over two years now so you could say I am quite a regular. I have the utmost respect for the main lady that works because she is there all the time (I have been in once when she is not there) and she is always kind to us. The ice cream is good and she always adds an extra swirl onto my cone! Maybe this Dairy Queen isn't perfect but she works very hard to try to make it close. read more

I have been a few times because I've had company in town. I thought the owner wasn't very nice . She was rude to her employees and blamed them for minor mistakes in front of customers. Today was no different. My son received an gift card for Christmas and I allowed him and his brother to go in and get a blizzard. They returned to the car and he notice 1) there was a hair in the ice cream ( which happens from time to time anywhere you go) 2) he ordered a Reece's pieces blizzard but got a Reece's cup ( this location has Reece's pieces) . When he came back from getting another one because of the issues , she told him that he couldn't get a Reece's pieces because he never ordered it in the first place. :-/ I went in to talk to her and she argued with me about how he never ordered it. Forget I never asked for my money back because of the hair nor did I make a big deal. Then proceeded to put down the employee for his mistake . This was so inappropriate on so many levels. Went to this place on a warm Friday evening with my wife, and not surprisingly, it was packed. However the reason it was packed is that there was one cashier and one girl making the blizzards. I got a cherry dipped cone after waiting for 20 minutes in line and my wife had walked out of the store because of the poor service. I don't understand why it is so hard to pay for 2 employees to make the blizzards or anything else for that matter, especially when your service will improve tremendously! read more

Nothing like the DQ in leesburg . Usually warm very little air conditioning. The whip cream taste funny . The ice cream not as flavorful and cold as the other DQ 's . I went today for the Free Cone Day with my Kid. We got our free cones :) The people there were very friendly. All the time we were there, I noticed that they let customers know it was free cone day, if they seemed unaware of it; which to me was very rare. I really appreciated how enthusiastic they seemed about everything. Will surely go there more now. read more

I ordered a birthday cake from DQ recently. Great customer service and cake was beautiful. we don't get lot of choice because I needed eggs and nuts free cake due to allergies but DQ made sure to make it as pretty as it can be while keeping it according to our special need. will def use them again. read more

My granddaughters birthday cake was a disappointment. The classic half vanilla half chocolate cake was all vanilla with a half inch of chocolate and half inch of fudge and just in the middle of the cake. Yuk and puke. I can't even begin to explain everything that went wrong- bathrooms were broke, got our order wrong, we asked for blizzards with cone dip, they did not get it right. Tables were disgusting. And there was trash in the floor, and ice everywhere. They really need to upgrade something there. They don't even have sweet tea, what Dairy Queen doesn't have sweet tea? So annoyed. read more

1. The food was made with bad lettuce, making it taste even worse than it should have 2. The order took about 10 minutes to prepare (Monday evening for 3 crispy chicken sandwiches) 3. they had no burgers even though burgers are listed on the menu. The two times that I have been there, the manager (older Indian female) goes from the cashier (handling cash /cards) to handling people's food without washing her hands or putting on gloves. Let's just say if there were another Dairy Queen close, I would go there instead. The past few times have been excrutiating waiting on the main lady to take our orders. I can deal with that to a degree. However, what I dislike more than anything is an employee who is rude to her staff. The older lady that runs/owns this establishment (I'm not sure which) is very mean to the poor high school students who work there. Last time she was overly bossing them around and today she literally shooed the girl away after the girl finished making a blizzard for her customer. It's 7pm on a sunny summer day, and there is only one woman working. My son often gets a free ice cream coupon at Huntington. A couple of weeks ago the manager told him not to come in again because he comes in too much ...once a week. When he got a coupon tonight, he asked me to come in with him. The manager said to me that he comes in too much. I told her he earned it. We go to this Dairy Queen a lot for date night. I ordered a blizzard and when I got it saw that it was mostly ice cream and not as many mix in's as I was used to. When I returned it to have it fixed, got an attitude from the girl that made it, along with the women who owns the place. All the times that I've gone there, I don't get the warm and fuzzies from the owner. She always seems to be repremanding the young employees. Terrible service. Terrible food. I have eaten at other DQs and found their regular menu items pretty decent for fast food. However, I'm not sure the people who work here know what they are doing. When I walked in, there was no one in line and there was only one couple sitting at a table eating their ice cream. I went to order and the girl standing behind the counter said she couldn't take my order right then because she was busy "dealing with cakes". Whatever that means. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt and waited patiently. When she finally came, I ordered a cheesesteak sandwich and cheese curds. Even though there was no one else there, it took 20 minutes to get my food. It was to go, so I didn't get a chance to check my bag until I got home. First of all, the cheesesteak advertised focaccia bread with Monterey Jack cheese, onions and peppers. When I opened my sandwich, it was on a hamburger bun and there was NO cheese, just meat with onions and peppers. I was already home, so it was no use going back again. Not worth it for crappy food. Just a waste of my money. And the cheese curds (which were good the time I ordered them in a different location) tasted like fish sticks, which I found odd. Then, I remembered they sell popcorn shrimp. They must cook everything in the same fryer with the shrimp or at least they don't change the oil. So, I would assume all of their fries, onion rings, etc. taste like shrimp. Yuck. Spent over $10.00 for bad food. I'm sure their ice cream is OK, but I would stay away from everything else.
