The queso had just the right amount of smokey goodness. The cheese fries were not overly covered so everything wasn't soggy. Great call. We were so full after that we shared a popcorn shrimp entree. I consider myself a popcorn shrimp expert and this was outstanding. Couldn't stop eating it. Almost made myself sick as I didn't want to leave any of it. Oh so good! Pricing is extremely reasonable. If you are in Jefferson this is a must-stop for great food, at least for lunch as that is when we were there.

The 2 stars instead of 4 comes from Thursday at ~1730 hrs when some new worker was present and felt she needed to interject her misinformed opinion on our child raising. My wife asked for a "boy toy" at the window for the Happy Meal. Some white female with short dark hair felt compelled to pipe up that boys can play with girl toys too. Nevermind that he already had the "girl toy" from another day, as that was no longer relevant. My wife didn't care for her tone, but I cannot attest to it, as I was not there. What was relevant was the unprofessionalism and unwelcomed coaching of how we raise our child and with which toys we let him play. People are free to push their agendas after work, but should keep them quiet at work. It is a personal offense as I do not subscribe to the popular PC/Cancel culture, so alienating customers is all that was accomplished. Maybe in Austin that would fly but I expect better here.

Server had no other speed than first gear. We had to ask another staffer for coffee refills which annoyed her with her fake eyebrows. Still rolling down hill folks! My egg yolks were broken on over easy; bacon not cooked to order as requested. Food sat in the window too long; I almost got up and served our table.
