I've seen people come in with an attitude toward an employee and treat the employee as if they are beneath them with unrealistic expectations. Many people forget they service a very busy drive up customer base. I've personally witnessed a customer accuse a trusted employee of spitting in their drink. What was behind that accusation? Did they expect a free meal? The crew at Tomahawk McDonalds are attentive, kind and ambitious. Three A's of business are Affibility, Availability, and Ability in that order. Culver's here generally provides a reliable quality of food and service. The outside seating area…read moreis nice. They use a barrier of tall pine shrubs to provide a nice natural delineation between the seating area and the drive through waiting line. The chicken tenders are a favorite of mine. For something different we occasionally get the pork loin sandwich. Always good. Key note on it is that make sure you ask for desired toppings. It comes "naked" with only the pork loin on the bun. It's great if you would prefer BBQ sauce on it rather than mayo. We like the Pretzel Bites and Onion Rings as sides. Their custard flavors are great. I like the ones with strawberries or other fruit over the chocolate with add ins. Only minor issue I've had is in the spring with trainees coming on for summer. The only time I need to check my order. It's great to see how much they do for the community. It looked really nice, inviting, warm. No more. I arrived, parked my car, walked to door and noted sign "drive through only." I then returned to and maneuvered car in what I thought was order line. A few minutes later an employee came to my car window, told me to drive to other side of building, where I placed my order. While waiting, I could see flames a couple feet high intermittently from the grill. So, flame grilled burger. I had driven over 100 miles from UP (Upper Peninsula) Michigan ski hill where multiple lift towers had "Chip's Hamburgers" decals high on chairlift towers. I ended up using bathroom at a gas station and, wanting to be out of car after two hours driving, eating on hood of car. As to the food, the burger was good, not great. I had a double cheeseburger. Tastes a little flame burned. One really nice point is the man handing me my order noticed my two dogs and gave me a couple dogs biscuits. I don't think I will return to this location.
