We used the on line app and paid for 2 boxes of Dilly Bars and a box ice cream sandwiches. My card was charged. When we arrived, they didn't have ice cream sandwiches. The manager said it takes 4 hours to make them and no one ever orders them. I asked if we could substitute Buster Bars and he charged us the difference. We thought they could make an exception since my husband is a vet and there isn't an option to add the vet discount when ordering on-line. Nope, they charged the difference. Um.... dude so damn expensive!! My wife and I went in there to eat the other night and our entire meal came out to almost damn near $50.00 when yet we could go over to McDonald's order pretty close to the exact same thing and even a little more and it only cost us $27.00 I mean that's almost nearly half. If DQ keeps these prices up they will go out of buisness within a year! No freaking ice-cream should ever cost $6.75 almost damn near $7.00 my wife and I can go to karrie-annes get 2 large for less than what we paid for at DQ. My wife didn't even get a large ice cream it was a smaller cup size so we were confused by the size thinking maybe it was a large cup but come to find out it was the medium when she ordered a damn large. Seriously pathetic service and pricing! So she basically got charged for a large but ended up with a medium when she should of had a large. When I brought it to thier attention they didn't care so I just gave up! I use to like going into DQ and having ice-cream or a meal but not no more the way things are ran and the pricing I'm done. Look I know I'm not gonna get a fine dining experience because it's fast food but man is it disappointing when every time I get ice cream in the drive through it's halfway melted when they hand it to me. The blizzard flip thing is nonexistent which idc about that it's just that they know it's melted too. Okay, I love Dairy Queen; I used to be a regular here because I love their blizzards and their chicken tenders. That being said, the prices at this location have skyrocketed!! I went to DQ and got a SMALL blizzard yesterday, that's it, and it cost me $7.19!!!!! I can't justify spending that on a small treat; you can buy a whole meal for that at other places (including here)!! I'll be going to Cold Stone for all my ice cream needs from now on; their ice cream is better quality and you can get a large over there for less than that. Sorry Dairy Queen!! I'll miss you! They used to be so good... the chicken strip basket was the best. Today when i got mine, there was no gravy, none of the sauce i asked for, the "toast" was bread with so much butter it was soggy... fries were cold. And it was 11$ for a 4 piece!!! It used to be 6$. When I review a chain restaurant, I typically try to focus my comments on the exact location itself, as opposed to some kind of quasi-political commentary on the business. (I have never used the word quasi-political in a review before, I wonder if there is a badge for that too?) The DQ located in Rexburg doesn't deviate from the standard that is found in most locations. While I know of a few that only serve ice cream, this location includes the full "grill" menu. I'll be the first to admit that DQ is a guilty pleasure, like watching the Jersey Shore. It's not the best thing for you, but you enjoy it while its there. The same is true for DQ food. I'm sure there are numerous healthier options in town, but it's the nice "consistent" taste that keeps people coming back. The burgers and fries are excellent, and my personal favorite is the chicken strip basket. It includes four or six strips of breaded fried chicken (note: usually they are pretty good sized, however my last meal left me feeling unsatisfied), two toast triangles which are lightly coated in butter, fries, and the famous country gravy. I've been eating DQ for years and this is by far my most frequent order. The gravy is liquid ecstasy! Back to the location: The Rexburg spot is in a pretty good location, right on 2nd east. There is ample space for either a single or party of two, or a larger group. This place can get busy on a Monday night around 7 or 8 for obvious reasons. The restaurant is always clean, and they do a good job of being friendly at the window and counter. Never had any problems here. So in conclusion, it's clean, friendly, affordable, and gravy. read more

Came to the drive-thru about 6 minutes before the internet said they were supposed to close (9pm). We pulled up and we were told they were closed. We continued to drive around and there was a car at the window. That is ridiculous that they were still supposed to be open and weren't. And to top it off there were still people in the drive thru. I understand it sucks getting customers minutes before you close. But it is not okay to serve one person in the drive thru and not another when they are still supposed to be open. This dairy queen is above average for a dairy queen in all but one way. This restaurant will not put lids on your ice cream menu items unless you ask for them. This is so incredibly annoying. This practice has been a consistent effort on their part for the last ten years. If I order a banana split, a peanut buster parfait and a sundae and you hand all three to me back to back with no lids and I'm the only person in my car, that consequently doesn't have a banana split cup holder adapter, chances are a mess will occur. This is a plea to upper management or the owner, this is clearly a trained approach, maybe to save money, I guess?? I have never been so dissatisfied by any restaurant either chain or local in my life. They were unwilling to assist and work with me when redeeming a corporate issued coupon. They then suggested that I download the myDQ app to allow me to download and use a coupon. After downloading the app at there suggestion I was then informed that they do not accept and allow the app coupons.
