Peanut buster parfait
Jocielyn W.

My visit was 5/17 in the evening. Staff friendly and was greeted right away. Ordered peanut buster parfait which was perfect! My daughter ordered a blizzard picture perfect delicious! Both were brought out to us and served with a smile! Friday night and busy and refreshing to be served with happy employees who care their food is made and served well. I usually go to the Twin Lakes DQ I liked this one much better.

I am in disbelief the amount of money I paid for a medium hot cocoa blizzard with added brownie... to only be a cup of vanilla ice cream. Great job to the two young guys working tonight. It's a hit or a miss with this place, better off creating your own blizzard at home.

I think there must still be an issue at this Dairy Queen. I think business that is successful and rates high remembers that they have one chance to get it right and makes it happen. FYI: we do visit Dairy Queen quite often though this one tends to stay off our radar. You can not beat the ice cream line up of dairy queen and their onion rings are to die for, you just have to find the restaurants that are run well to truly enjoy the value that Dairy Queen offers on a hot sunny day.

Ordered food in drive through, got a six piece chicken tender basket and was disappointed in the size of tenders they gave me. They are not that big!! I've eaten chicken nuggets bigger than them. Wasted my money to get more tenders only to get tiny scrap ones. I only got two full sized tenders.

Medium Vanilla Cone

The vast majority has us quite skeptical about coming here. But we just wanted a quick fix for dessert so we decided to just wing it! Last night made it our second visit here, and so far, so good, no complaints here. It's seems rather dead at this location with the trips we've been here, and when we're passing through. And it does seem rather accurate that this joint is ran by a bunch of teenagers. But the ones we've experienced have always been nice and quick to the point. Our ice cream cones and blizzards always seem consistent, and gets our sweet tooth satisfied. Keeping it short and sweet here!

Sad, sad blizzard. Had about 4 pieces of topping on top and the rest was sad vanilla ice cream. Will not be back.

I ordered A Triple patty bacon sandwich. It said $8.59 on the order board. She charged me $8.69 and only gave me a double patty.

Most disgusting counters I've ever seen in a restaurant. I don't think anything in there is been cleaned in weeks.

We appreciated being able to seat ourselves, and one of the servers came over right away to explain that we could scan the QR code at the table to order and pay directly from our phones. You can either leave your tab open or close it out after ordering, which I thought was really convenient. The restaurant itself is fairly small, with a cozy indoor dining area, large windows, and a covered patio. We've passed by many times on weekends but usually skip it because it always looks packed, so going during a slower weekday afternoon worked out perfectly for us. The staff were very attentive and friendly, and since it wasn't busy, they even took the time to chat with us. There were also quite a few takeout orders coming through while we were there. For food, we started with the pretzels. My husband accidentally ordered two orders, but we were perfectly happy with that mistake! He had the French Dip, and I ordered the loaded PB&J. We both really enjoyed our meals and thought everything was delicious. The fries were especially good and probably one of my favorite parts of the meal. I'd definitely come back, but I'd probably plan another weekday or off-peak visit so we can enjoy it without the weekend crowds.

He got the spicy chicken teriyaki, and I decided (against my better judgment) to try something different and ordered the cheesesteak instead of one of their burgers--which I already know are really good. I should've just stuck with that. The cheesesteak was okay. The meat was tender and the flavor wasn't bad, but it was really dry. By the time I got home, I had to add my own condiments just to make it more enjoyable. It just felt like something was missing. My husband wasn't impressed with the teriyaki either. I didn't try it myself, but he said it wasn't the best he's had and probably wouldn't order it from here again. One highlight though--the peanut butter banana milkshake was delicious. Their milkshakes are definitely a win. Overall, I'd say this place is still worth it, but stick to the burgers--they're what they do best.

There is a good sized menu with variety. I wanted something basic to base my review on the overall quality of a regular ole burger. I previously saw reviews from their other shop and there was a lot of comments regarding undercooked meat. I went with medium well. I ended up getting a dried out burger and the bun was falling apart on me through the process. The bacon is a great add on item. For just 2 dollars, I got enough bacon that exceeded the amount of meat from the burger. The bacon was crisp and the the pieces were extremely THICK. There were large chunks of pork in there. The tater tots were good. A little greasy and could stand to be a little crunchier but good. Their beverage cooler is weak. It's also facing the direct sun and they aren't very cold at all. The sitting area is loud as it's less than a stones throw from the main railroad tracks. The dining area is small and makeshift. Take it to go if you can. Overall....it's decent. As I told my coworker. It was good and if I base my review on if it's a place I'd go back to or not. I'd say not. Only if it were the only thing available. It's average and has room for improvement.

My husband isn't the biggest seafood fan, so I didn't think it would be the best choice for the two of us. Turns out, I was completely wrong! I ordered the crab-crusted sirloin, and it was fantastic. The steak was cooked perfectly, the crab topping was delicious, and the sauce tied everything together beautifully. It also came with shrimp, which were good, although I think I would have preferred them grilled instead. The asparagus was perfectly cooked as well. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the rice pilaf. It had a floral flavor that just wasn't my favorite. It wasn't bad, but next time I'll probably substitute it for another side. My husband lucked out because they had a smoked chicken thigh sandwich on special that day. It was made with pulled smoked chicken thigh and a house-made peach barbecue sauce. I didn't try it myself, but he absolutely loved it and said it was excellent. One thing I also noticed was the food coming out to the surrounding tables. The woman next to us ordered one of the burgers with a side salad instead of fries, and honestly, both looked incredible. The side salad was surprisingly large and looked fresh and delicious. This definitely won't be our last visit. I came in expecting a mostly seafood-only restaurant and left realizing there's something for just about everyone. Great food, great atmosphere, and plenty of menu options. I'm already looking forward to coming back and trying something new!

Well I was not disappointed. 3 nice size, nicely done pieces of fish. Batter was nothing too special though not too thick and nice and crispy. Fish was tender and moist! Crinkle frys were done a bit crispy and held the fry sauce nicely. The single cheese burger was better than most. Just sloppy enough to need to wipe your face but not greasy.
