the fries were very hot and so was the chicken. The person in drive thru was very patient when i was ordering. i've also heard that the old manager patrick has left the establishment. The tables outside were very clean and so were the tables inside. read more

When I arrived I saw a line wrapped around the building, but for some reason 3 employees hanging out outside. Since I saw the long line I decided to go inside, where there was no one behind the register. After at least 2 minutes, one of the workers that was hanging out outside decided to come in and take my order. After waiting I decided not to give them my money and leave. I sat in my car in front of the store and decided to called the store to let the manager know my experience. The manager, Patrick, who I saw walk from the outside hangout spot, rudely told me they are busy and if I want to come help them they will take the help and then he hung up on me. There was no reason for any of this, you have staff hanging out outside instead of working at one of the busiest times of the week, Saturday night at 8pm read more

I ordered 2 hotdogs and both were cold. I work a walking distance away so there is no reason my food should have been cold by the time i got back. It was like they took it right out of the fridge. I called the store and the manager was so nasty. He didn't care about anything i was saying. I had to say "Hello? Hello? are you still there? He finally responded after a long pause and said "OK". Sir, OK what? Whats the issue over there and how do you plan to resolve this? He said very nasty "Well there is nothing i can do and i don't know why it was cold. I said, "so no resolve"? He said (very nasty) well just bring the food back and hung up. I immediately called corporate. I will NEVER go back there. I told everyone that i work with and they said they are never going there again either. I know a lot of ppl in the area....I can't wait to spread the word. read more

I ordered a Brownie Oreo Cupfection. What I got was mostly vanilla icecream with bits of Oreo. It looks nothing like the picture. The girl at the window never said anything to my husband or me. She only talked to someone on her headset taking their order. THis is terrible service and I am very disappointed in the item I received. read more

We ordered 2 Choco Brownie blizzards. As you can see, they are both 3/4 vanilla ice cream. The 1st order we received, 1 of them was totally melted. We asked for it to be made over and it was, So you would think it would be right. I could only think that this is the way they make them here. Taking a shortcut and not giving you a true extreme blizzard. Both were of very little brownie bites. Is this a shortcut to make more profit or this location does this all the time and has NO QUALITY CONTROL.. read more

Do not go to this location. It was absolutely disgusting . Very dirty , were driving through & figured we stop her for a shake and bathroom break. Ordered the shake and as we walked to the bathroom while we waited the Floors were filthy as if they hadn't mopped or cleaned in weeks. The bathroom was even worse of course. So dirty , floor was full of urine and sticky . We grabbed the shakes and left so quickly. I should have tossed them since who knows what's in their ice cream machines are full of . Also wasn't like they were super busy, so employees had plenty to time to clean. Employees were kind enough. read more

what do you think of when hearing dairy queen? DILLy BARS!!! please tell me why you don't carry butterscotch and cherry? why would you not carry specific items that make people want this ice cream. everywhere and anywhere carries choc even grocery stores. you need to have your STAPLE items that make people love dairy Queen. and with the reviews I've seen it'd be nice to have wrapped items with no one being able to touch them. read more

Some of the employees were sitting outside the building and being rude to me and my girlfriend but food is ok at best

This IS NASCAR, WWE country. The typical small town fast food establishment. Building has seen much better days, it's not necessarily dirty but it's just not clean. Same townies that stare at you cause you wear your clothes slightly different from what the local norms are. It's slow in service and that's just fine to them. The good part is you never have to go back. read more

This was the 3rd time I visited this DQ and the 3rd time I ordered a Blizzard and the 3rd time the Blizzard was served partially melted. This evening, my Blizzard was not turned upside down. Although it could be turned upside down for a nano second, it would have been precarious to do so! When I asked about this, I was told the machine that makes the ice cream has problems and this happens. Not good. After only 2 spoonfuls, I could drink my Blizzard! Perhaps it's time to get this machine fixed or get a new one! read more

I have not eaten at DQ but am extremely disappointed with their ice cream (or lack there of) they do not carry chocolate....seriously you are an ice cream place. How cheap must the owner be to not provide the two basic flavors??? I'm heading to Bay St Louis for ice cream!!! You should be ashamed read more

The staff at drive thru was very rude. I asked if they had filled all the order and they said yes. Get home and of course it was not all there. I returned with food and the young girl did not say sorry and acted if I was bothering them. I gave them food back and got my money back. Will not go back. I cannot believe the three girls at window. Just plain rude read more

Food was fine. Service was awful. Not friendly at all. Boys bathroom was disgusting. Cups were covered with ice cream.

We stopped by this location on our way home yesterday and experienced the most bizarre behavior. Apparently there was an issue inside because the lobby was closed. We did not realize this because the door was not locked. We walked in, placed and order and that is where things went downhill. A young lady came out from the back/drive through window and yelled to the cashier that their lobby was closed. The girl turned and said she knew. We looked at each other in confusion. The girl from the back went on yelling and asked why she let us in. She explained she did not. Then the angry employee yells even louder, "THEN DON'T TAKE THEIR ORDER". At this point, we leave. No clue what was going on or why she was so angry. read more

Slow, slow, slow service but delicious ice cream treats and the usual when you think of DQ food. My daughter enjoys the chicken basket with white gravy. They have a 6-piece that can be split among 2-3 people for a quick meal. My favorite treat here is a hot fudge and caramel sundae. DQ employs many local teens, so stop by and support them. read more

Food is fresh and hot. I like their soft serve ice cream..especially the Blizzards. I use the drive-thru and have never been inside so I cannot comment on cleanliness or comfort. Dairy Queen Grill & Chill - Not too bad. - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Diamondhead, Mississippi

I believe strongly in supporting our food businesses during COVID, even when it means smaller portions and longer lines. But after patronizing DQ Diamondhead for several years, blaming COVID for their several-years-long poor service and poor food allotments is a very poor excuse. This is a chili cheese dog (no dog as ordered). The bread had a small smear of chili with a giant glob of mustard. I will drive the six miles to BSL Sonic. The high school boy yelling at me for insisting on extra hot fudge I PAID FOR was not the last straw. The high school girl refusing to remake my burger after giving me the wrong order was not the last straw. The kid at the window refusing to serve me all 4 salad Dressings I PAID FOR was not the last straw. But today was the last straw. I won't be spending another dime at DAIRY QUEEN DIAMONDHEAD. Diamondhead is still a fairly new, highly-populated city in need of restaurants and clubs. Are you listening, fast food franchisees? read more

Dairy Queen Grill & Chill - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Diamondhead, Mississippi

Why the negative reviews? It's Dairy Queen for goodness sakes! It's not a fine dining establishment. It is a fast food restaurant that is, like most, staffed with teens and young adults. But they are all super friendly teens and young adults! It's always really busy so yeah, it takes awhile to get your order. I mean, making shakes and blizzards takes a little time! Don't listen to the bad reviews. If you want some fast food and ice cream, give it a try. read more

Every time we go to this location, the blizzards seem to have less and less "mix ins" ... looks like a cup of plain vanilla soft serve.....

Food not too good. McDonald's is a better choice if you like fresher food. I'm not a McDonald's fan by any means but it is better.

These people are going crazy. The shift leader 21 yrs old. Got her feelings hurt snd refused to make the rest of my husbands order. This child had a TEMPER TANTRUM Pregnant and hormonal. Im sorry to say I have been going to DQ for 30yrs a couple of times a week. NOT ANYMORE read more

Made a freeway stop for a blizzard on a hot day. Just wanted a water and a blizzard to cool off. The cashier said that they don't have water cups and then proceeded to charge me for a soft drink (without telling me). When I noticed the charge they stated that water is always charged at a soft drink. ON WHAT PLANET?!? Are you joking? Then my blizzard wasn't even blended well, with chunks of cookies which were still in half. i.e. never got to the blender. Bottom line: Just keep on driving, this place isn't worth the stop. It's bad when you can screw up an ice cream and a water. read more

They always seem to have more employees at this location than all the other locations I go to which means better service. I'll take it!

Very poor customer service the inside dining is hardly ever open and the food is always cold

Ordered a small cone and waited 17 minutes. The lady before me wanted a refund because her order was taking way too long.

Far from ghetto, bitter Yelper. The place is clean, constantly busy, and employees helpful. Came here for Father's Day lunch and place was packed. Love this place. BACON CHEESEBURGER! OM NOM NOM Also, the food was piping hot, so there. read more

These rural Dairy Queens are ruining me. They give you proper portions of ice cream AND hot fudge. Oh god...so good. The Dairy Queen in Miami is horrible. On a note completely unrelated to the food, I heard something at this Dairy Queen that I have never heard before. I heard two people have an entire conversation without using a single verb. Even with the omission of verbs, these two people still understood one another. How is this possible? I am amazed at the complete omission of a part of English grammar. In fairness to Diamondhead, these ladies were only passing through. read more

NOT an enjoyable experience. The ice cream was good. The experience was exasperating. The young man taking my order was incredibly confused. I said I wanted a chocolate dipped waffle cone. He questioned, "Do you want a specialty cone?" I told him I didn't know what he meant and pointed to the picture and said it was $2.99. Every step of the 5 item order was painful... The last two items were small vanilla icecreams. He told me he could give mini blizzards or plain sundaes. I told him I just needed something little for toddlers. We were given giant sundae cups for my 2 & 1-year old recipients. I asked for an empty cup to scrape half of their icecream into. I was charged $.50 extra for each of those "small cups." I was also charged for a Blizzard dipped waffle cone- "special" plain, which was also an up charge from the plain vanilla icecream we ordered and received. I just paid it to make the kids happy and get out of there. read more

This was literally the worst experience I've had at a DQ. We are such easy people to please, too. I've worked in food service; I get it. But this was asinine. The girl over the intercom read us back our entire order correctly- awesome. We pull up, they hand us the hot fudge sundaes... how the heck am I supposed to open this thing??? I honestly don't know how they got the lid on. It was 2" above the base. I have 4 kids... disaster. Both sundaes were like this. When we asked for napkins, attitude. Great. Then they opened the window, obviously annoyed, and asked, after we waited for our dipped cone (that, keep in mind, they read back to us correctly), if we needed something. We said, "Yes, we're waiting on the dipped cone." She said, "Um. I don't think I charged you for that." My dad said, "Okay, can you add it for us and we'll pay for it?" The girl responds, "I might can." Ummmm... no. You WILL. What? What do you mean you MIGHT? Seriously? We were the only ones in line. Stop being a snot head. She opens the window, rolls her eyes, "What size?" Whew Chile... I wanted to grab her by her braid at this point. But no, Jesus held me back. We finally got our dipped cone. I just don't understand the teenage attitude. This is your job, child. I get it; it's not fun. I had one too. I was a manager at McDonald's. Suck it up, Buttercup. read more
