Meal was good but started out frustrated so missed the mark. Tried again today 8 weeks later, reds listed called and what sounded like an AI answering system stated there were no reds, although still listed, and it suggested I use a current link that was being sent? Kinda insulting but I opened it, and I'll be darned the royal reds were still listed on the new and suggested page? Absolutely ridiculous. Just keep your business clean folks? Update the shortages so we as consumers can make our choices? Just a waste of time and so Disappointing considering how many great seafood places there are to chose from.

Definitely don't judge this spot by it's exterior as the food was legit. We each ordered a bowl of the gumbo (trust me, you won't want to share!), and shared the fried green tomatoes with crab (it's actually topped with blackened shrimp and the crab is mixed into a sauce the fried green tomatoes are topped with), fried shrimp platter (with fries), and fried fish platter (with onion rings). Everything we tried was so good! All the dishes had good flavorful and portion size was good, especially for the price. We had plenty leftover to take on the road with us! Service was super friendly, with our waitress checking on us fairly frequently. Parking may be a little tough during peak hours since they also share the lot with a motel.

Shrimp po-boy, no oysters - pop corn shrimp, most likely frozen. Po-boy wasn't dressed like I asked for. There was a half a slice of tomato and two small pickle slices on one half of the sandwich. The comeback sauce (mixture of ketsup and mayo) was drizzled on the top of shrimp, which left the bread dry. I asked for a root beer and she said it comes in a bottle. I said that's fine. I received the root beer in a plastic bottle (eventually got the bottle) With a location like that, they should be able to provide the freshest seafood and have a top-notch service. I was left with a ho hum impression of the restaurant.
