We ate here from 1-2pm on a Sunday. It was a beautiful fall day, and there was a line for seating…read more We sat at the counter to avoid the wait (be ready to wait if the weather is nice). Counter service was fairly prompt and friendly. It's a drive in menu so easy to navigate. Everything is outdoors, so when the weather is nice it's a great spot to relax and enjoy. Root Beer (7/10): They make their own root beer on site. Pretty sweet, not terribly bubbly. Good flavor. All-American Burger w/ fries (8/10): 1/3lb patty cooked how they want to, juicy and great meat-to-bun ratio. Thousand Island will always be a good burger sauce. Crinkle fries were typical and yummy. Cheeseburger w/ fried green beans (8/10): 1/3lb patty, again cooked how they want to, juicy. Nothing special but were not disappointed. Fried green beans were fantastic, definitely a menu gem.

Cute concept and we loved the old-fashioned drive-in idea, but the experience didn't quite deliver…read more The wait was fairly long, and a car pulled up next to us with people smoking, so up went our windows and there went the nostalgic drive-in vibe. Customer service was a little lackluster. We tried the veggie burger, fries, and cheese curds. The burger was alright, the fries were dry and could definitely use some seasoning, and the cheese curds were chewy with an odd texture. Maybe burgers and shakes are where they shine. Not terrible, just not really our style. Cute idea, mediocre date. ‍

This isn't your ypical pizza or burger joint. This is way better! We had a very tough time deciding…read morewhat to have for lunch. The Pot Roast Burger (dang that sounds tasty), Baonator BLT (oh, man, I love lots of bacon on a BLT!), Louies Italian Roast Beef (yum, served on a garlic butter hoagie bun) or one of their amazing Paninis? How to choose? We decided on the Italian roast beef, and it was great. I'm going to admit I have a problem with lunch places, especially when I come after the noon rush because so many times the French fries are sad, barely warm wilted fries and the hot sandwich isn't much better. Let me tell you right now that Louies makes sure the hot sandwiches are steaming hot and the fries are crispy and right out of the fries. I was in lunch heaven! Just know all the restaurant meat comes from their own butcher shop right down the street, Louie's Finer Meats, another must stop when in town. Both places will bring joy to your taste buds!

We stopped by for late lunch. Wife and I split the club sandwich which comes with fries. When we…read moregot it I was surprised that there was so little on this big plate. The sandwich was good, but there was no garnish. The sandwich was pressed with lots of meat. You'd think they could add a bit of lettuce or something to not make it look so sparse. Then when we left she told us it was $5 burger day. Why didn't she mention it before we ordered. Duh....
