I have no issue with the people who run that location but they should not cut corners and jeapordize DQ reputation over a few cents. I would give 0 stars if I could. First I go through drive thru, can't understand what the guy is saying (heavy accent) but he's pretty much yelling and talking fast. I order the bacon burger (#4) and when I finally get my food, I was told to park in the front of the building event though nobody was behind me, there was turkey bacon in the burger. I take the burger inside and explain to them that there was no signage stating that it was turkey bacon instead of pork bacon and they looked at me like I just punched their first born. I asked if I could just get a different burger without bacon and they attempted to charge me for another burger! I told him "I'm not paying, just give me another burger since I don't want that turkey bacon". Mind you, this turkey bacon looked like old dried up pieces of skin that fell off an old man's foot. I went back to my car to wait for the other burger and once they brought it out this dickhead has the audacity to say "you could just take the bacon out?" After I finish paying for my order in the drive thru, the manager told me to go park in the front that they will bring my food to me. I don't why, there was nobody behind me. We walked in to the establishment my kids were so happy to play in the play space. I was with a friend and her kids. We had just came from the park and we were waiting in line to wash our hands before we ordered the food, I told the man at the register that we were going to wash our hands. The manager (a lady) came from the back and started yelling at us telling us the restrooms were for paying customers only, I told her we were customers but just washing our hands. She gave us a nasty attitude and kept yelling at us. So we decided to leave because I wasn't going to spend my money there on someone who was being rude. I can't tell you the last time I had a meal from a Dairy Queen, but I can tell you that when I do get food, it's the steak finger basket. I LOVE IT! Steak fingers, fries, and toast, with white gravy... Yes. Please! These days if I venture to Dairy Queen it's for one thing... a Blizzard™ Every once in a while, my husband says "hey, let's get a Blizzard™," and I head for the car lol. Being an ice cream lover, it goes against everything I believe in to say no. Okay, that's not true, but the point is, they're good. This place is a s**thole. It's so run down I'm not sure if it would pass inspection. My daughter really wanted chocolate soft serve. Exciting! It says on the sign on the ordering wall "now serving chocolate soft serve" with a picture. I ordered it, the man says "we can do vanilla with chocolate on top". When I explained that there was literally a picture with chocolate soft serve, he said that some days they make it in other days they don't. My daughter was sad. Today I went to Dairy Queen and was really disappointed. I found a hair in my French fry and one of my French fries had black spots on it (I ate it and it tasted horrible). Don't get me started with the costumer service!!! The costumer service was horrible, and the older man working there had a really bad attitude. I was given the wrong order at the drive thru, mistakes happen, understandable.. I proceed to come back and get accused of being a thief and was told "I don't remember seeing you here before." I HAD MY RECEIPT?! After getting another employee to verify I had just been there, the manager proceeded to bring the cook over to justify the order was made correctly. (I had ordered a burger, with ketchup mustard and cheese, but I was given something that smelt like a sloppy Joe and had bbq sauce) From there, the man spent the next couple minutes trying to justify the order. I went here yesterday because Dairy Queen sent me a one day coupon via DQ Texas app. for the Deluxe Nachos. Since I was on this side of town I thought I would just eat at this location...That quickly changed. I tried to order the nachos with a large drink, and asked the cashier, (who did not speak good English) to charge the drink separately. I asked her to do this because I knew the system is set to make it a combo, and at the other locations I frequent they would just void the combo and charge the drink separately on the same ticket. The girl went to go get who I presumed was a manager who really didn't know how to do her job. I tired to explain charging the drink separately to her and she claimed that it had to be on two separate tickets, which I knew was bull. I didn't fell like arguing with this incompetent woman, and I just cancelled my drink, paid for the nachos, and left. I had already redeemed the coupon, and there was no going back on that offer, but I did loose getting the last point/spoon I needed to get a five dollar reward. Let me start off saying, i myself am an american born indian (parents are from india) We live in deer park, and my nephew is 3 and he likes to go play in play areas, like McDonalds, but one night we were in the mood for ice cream, so we went to this DQ, because they have a play aea. We dont let him play in the ball pit, because i dont thnk it has ever been cleaned, but the slide he can play on, then he takes a shower, once he gets home. The part the ticket me off was, he was making comments on my nephew, playing in the play area, and how kids hispanic kids grow up and become worthless laborers, i dont think he realized we were indian. also, while we sat and ate our food, they made filthy comments about a interracial couple (gentleman was black, woman was white) that walked in. We have had terrible service the last few times we were there. The last incident we left because at least 3 employees did not acknowledge or take our order. To top this off they helped someone who came in behind us. And they walked away after that not even asking us if we had been helped. My grandson and I went to get Ice cream at 4:07 today 09/15/17 and every time we have gone there he has set on the elephant and nothing been said to him. Today an employee (Shap) that's what I was told his name was. He was very mean, nasty and rude to my grandson and told him to get off he was to big to be sitting on it. Now he did not even ask him how old he was just to get off you are too big, and when I asked him why all he could say is "that's what the signs says". Now the only time it has "age" written on the sign is when it say's # 4. Adult supervision required for any child under the AGE of 5. He then pointed out #3. Children 2 to 6 allowed and then said that it means AGE then it needs to say AGE just like it did on #4. If that is the policy then all the other times and other children something should had been said and to the adult not the child. My grandkids have been taught to respect the adults but that is hard to do when you have someone that was as mean, nasty and rude as he was.
