I tried to step back, but not quickly enough, and I ended up getting pop on me. I completely understand that accidents happen. What was frustrating was the employee's response afterward. The only thing he said was, "Did I get you?" There was no apology or even a simple "I'm sorry." I was standing there with pop on me, and I honestly felt like the situation was just brushed off. At that point, I decided to walk out because I didn't want to make a scene. I wasn't expecting anything unreasonable. Accidents happen, and I would have completely understood if he had simply apologized and acknowledged what happened. It's disappointing because my husband and I genuinely enjoyed our dinner. A simple apology would have gone a long way and probably would have left us walking out with a completely different impression of our experience.
