Okay I'm really depressed over this trip to Dairy Queen Corner. I have been waiting to go here and finally got the chance on Thursday July 6th and I feel it was a waste of money and time. I was excited to try their Hot dogs because everyone that follows me on Yelp and Google knows I love my Hot Dogs! I was surprised they weren't busy and I passed Woodys and Att's to go here. I went inside instead of the window (which I liked by the way, them having old fashion walkup window service) I owent to counter but cashier was too busy on phone to take my order. 2 girls were talking behind her all huddled up but finally the younger of the 2 came over to ask if I needed help. She literally looked 12!!! I placed order for 2 Hot dogs with chili, slaw and onions and she charged me $6.56. I paid but was surprised because menu says 2 Hot Dogs for $3.99 so it should have been less than $5 I stood and waited for several minutes, took time to take some interior pics and she brought me a small brown bag. I thanked her and left. When I opened the bag I was horrified! See my pics!! Both Hot dogs were rolled up into one small pieces of white tissue style paper. (They should have been wrapped separately!!!!!!) NO NAPKINS, NO SALT OR PEPPER! So, I went back in. All the girls behind counter were out of sight. I wanted to return the thrown in messy Hot dogs and get refund. To go means usually you are driving...no one likes freaking messy food when driving! The weiner were boiled tasting but had good flavor. The chili was extremely bland so I'm very glad I went back dor salt and pepper...it was needed. The onions were sparsely on there and that slaw was horrible. I had to take it off my second Hot dog all together. The slaw was very wet and tasted old. It also tasted like old store bought Walmart deli Cole slaw. It was bad! I really want to give them another try and update this review with better news. I will try them again a few months but definitely not eating store bought old Cole slaw!

Someone told me this place is called Almost Heaven. They were not kidding. This has one of these old time feels. Friday afternoon it was popping. Great atmosphere. There were so many people here but no long line. Staff very friendly. Now, I'm not sure how this place operates at a profit. Look at this ice cream. Back home this would cost $20. Even at the store a container itself would be 8$. The ice cream is soft served. Best ice cream I've had in some time. So many different flavors and so much. This was the standard size.

    Big loving family gathering.

This is our family's favorite ice cream place. It has the best ice cream & great variety of other food if we choose. The staff & owners are the best. Always clean. Love eating inside but also ove the outside area to enjoy our ice cream or food. Go frequently

So good! One of their specialty pumpkin drinks before closing down for the winter! Clean, friendly staff

Welcome to your new favorite ice cream joint!

I just moved here and was exploring and ran across this wonderful place! It was jam packed outside so I went inside which was much calmer. I ordered 2 hot dogs and a small root beer float. Even as crazy busy as they were, I had my order very quickly! The hot dogs were tasty and the root beer float fabulous. I think I've found my comfort food place!! Yeah!

Always a good time and great food at DCC! It's open from March to October. Bring cash! A staple for Fairmont WV!

The ice cream is AMAZING. Huge portions for great prices. It has a really cool old school vibe as well.

A family favorite. Great food. Best cheeseburger in town. The ice cream cones are huge. Be hungry when you go.

I was looking for a nice bar for a cocktail and appetizer by myself, and I found the Anvil and Ax (inside the Hotel Morgan) menu via google and decided to stop. Street parking is available all around. The doorman was so nice! There were several couples at the bar, so I sat at one of the tables near the bar. It took a while for the bartender to come over to me and give me a menu. I ordered the french martini and asked if there was a food menu available. She said they didn't serve food until later in the day, even though the online menu said otherwise. My martini was great. Service was subpar. She set my martini on the edge of the bar and I had to go up and get it- no big deal, I just thought it was odd since they weren't busy. The bartender never came back over to me; I went up to the bar to close out and pay my bill like 15 minutes after I finished my drink. There are certainly some kinks to work out, especially with service, but this place has potential to be very nice!

The bartender was wrapped up with them and you had to walk up to the bar for drinks. Hopefully it was just an off night. I wanted to love the place.

However, we realized…read morethere was going to be some interesting developments when the server came by and he seemed a little nervous, but that's understandable. In any case we placed our orders, I ordered the breakfast platter special, which was fried chicken and biscuits with country sausage gravy my wife ordered the eggs Benedict my daughter for her birthday ordered the French toast with two eggs and my son ordered the chicken and waffles. Talking first about the chicken and waffles. I've come to see that many locations offer chicken and waffles. This being about average for what I would consider chicken and waffles as it was a small filet cut in a half upon a very thin flat waffle, which would've done better to be a Belgian waffle with a much fluffier plump chicken filet. My son did enjoy it but when he finished it the server came by and he says did you enjoy that? Was it good, it must've been good because you ate everything! Then let's discuss my wife's eggs Benedict, which she thoroughly loved. However, the ham looked like it was sliced deli ham for a sandwich instead of Canadian bacon or a little thicker slice of country ham. It's not my call, as my wife said she enjoyed it. My daughter enjoyed her stuffed French toast and egg. Everything was cooked to her liking and she said it had a good flavor and of all four dishes that certainly was the best of the four. as for the last dish, my Sriracha sausage gravy, fried chicken and biscuit with home fries, the jury is still out as the home fries came out a little overdone and cold. The sausage gravy looks like somebody spread it on with a paintbrush, and it wasn't very warm. The chicken was warm and did taste good and the biscuit was good, but it made no sense when the server said, it comes smothered in sausage gravy. Take a look at the picture, and it looks more like a couple tablespoons of gravy on each biscuit with the chicken. We did have a good time and the ambience of the place was very nice, especially seated along the windows looking at the snow outside and perhaps we'll give it another shot at a later date. Overall, nothing over the top but nothing to make us fear coming back either. It was just kind of middle of the road, but I am glad that the nicest dish and the best presentation went to my daughter for her 20th birthday. At least that was a saving grace as well as the lunch with the movie, listening to the various antics and chatter coming from the server.
