Always a fan of Dario. The food is ALWAYS good and the service is always friendly. This location is no different, very clean and friendly staff. Parking around this location is a bit tricky as you park not in the restaurant parking area to walk over so be aware of that!

Dairi-O is possibly the best fast food restaurant there is! This small chain originated in King, North Carolina, in 1947. It was a small, roadside ice cream and hot dog joint. Today there are a dozen or so locations from Jacksonville to Hendersonville. They are modern, clean, and easy to eat in or drive through. The menu ranges from a great hot dog, to burgers of all sizes, chicken, and a variety of sandwiches. They are all good. Dairi-O has a great selection of hand dipped ice cream in bowls or cones. There are shakes and sundaes. The drive through is almost as good as Chic-fil-A. Looking for a fast, quality meal at reasonable prices, look no further than Dairi-O!!

I went pretty early. Patrons were piling in steadily. This was a good sign. The cashier was super nice. I order a hot dog special. The hot dogs and toppings were delicious. I really enjoyed the meal. They give you an ample amount of fries. They had a lot of searing throughout the restaurant. The bathrooms were clean. The restaurant was also clean. I thought I would save room for dessert, but I ate too much with the hot dog special. I will definitely stop in again and the next time I will try their dessert.

Dairio in Winston-Salem has been a longtime favorite of mine since childhood, back when the only spot was in downtown King. I remember the nostalgia every time I go--it's like a trip down memory lane, but with a much bigger menu now! I ordered two plain hot dogs, fries, and a chicken gyro this time. The hot dogs were just as classic as I remembered, no bells and whistles, just good, simple comfort food. The fries were perfectly crispy, and the chicken gyro added an unexpected twist--who knew Dairio could dabble in Mediterranean too? It's the ultimate spot for a bit of everything, just as it's always been.

Never have I ever had a burger heat up so well. I've simply been sleeping on Dairi-0. I've had people telling me this for so long but I finally stopped in. I picked up a hot dog all the way, a cheeseburger, and some fries. Everything was absolutely delicious. The hot dog was incredible and I tried the burger but ended up saving it for the next day and it heated up very well. I got the jalapeño ranch per some recommendations and it really put everything over the top. I'll be back for more, Dairi-O

TLDR: Excellent food, good customer service, and reasonable prices and portions, but poor order accuracy. Dairi-O what happened? We are used to accurate orders, excellent customer service, and delicious food. The customer service and food are still great, but order accuracy has dropped significantly. Be sure to check your order before leaving. Our order was missing 2 chicken tenders, dressing, condiments, napkins, and plasticware. Plus the salad I requested (more than once) to not have cheese, had cheese on it. It would not be as disappointing if it wasn't bleu cheese crumbles. The crumbles are so difficult to remove. Additionally, the entire ordering process was confusing and inconvenient. I think they were trying to make it quicker by having two employees outside, one to take orders and the other to direct drive thru traffic. They try to line up cars in four spaces (2x2) comparable to Chick-fil-A. However, service is inconsistent and customers received their items in a different order than they were placed. Therefore an employee needed to stand out in the cold and play musical cars. If there was not an extra space to move your car then you waited until others received their order. An additional road is opened up occasionally to accommodate one waiting vehicle. The cones are moved by an employee for a car to pull through then they are replaced. We were directed to this area. It was nice since we could pull out to the left to leave. This section is only the width of one car. A lady behind us (I'm assuming a customer), rather than turning right got out of her car, moved the cones, and pulled up behind us. An employee walked up to her to inform her that it was not an exit. She proceeded to berate the employee who remained professional and helpful. We definitely felt bad for him and she had to wait until we retrieved our order anyway. Honestly this interaction may have flustered the employee leading to him not thoroughly checking our order which is completely understandable. If it wasn't for the great food and customer service I would have removed more stars. Overall, we will still eat here and recommend it to others!

From the minute we walked in, we were greeted promptly and seated at our reservation time. They even had handbag clips to put on the edge of the table so we didn't have to put our purses on the floor - loved that! Everything we ordered tasted so good! We got the Rice Paper Tacos as appetizers. They came out looking like art on a plate and they were very gracious to tell us that there's not a wrong way to eat it. I got the Korean BBQ Beef as my entree and it hit the spot! My friend got the Modern Tuna Nicoise as her entree and it looked too pretty to eat, but she said it was delicious! For dessert we got the Passion Fruit Panna Cotta. It was the best way to end the night. We enjoyed our meals and the service was top-notch! Ambiance was nice-we sat in the outdoor area and they had a nice simple table display with a small table lamp that I was intrigued by. I'd never seen one so small but what I liked about it was that it didn't take up space on the table. Usually, the displays take up more space than the food sometimes, so I appreciate the little details. If you've never been to Betty on Burke-you must! I was very pleased with my experience and will definitely come back. PS- they validate parking so you don't have to pay the 3rd party parking system in their lot- HUGE plus!

I've been to Earl's quite a few times over the past few years and they're always reliable. Their service is snappy and quite attentive. Their kitchen knows what's up. Tonight my wife and I attended the Yelp Triad Burger Bosses community event. The event itself was a really good time. Seemed like good attendance, with Earl's getting plates out quickly and carefully. The Yelp crew knocked it out, great setup, signage, communication, and overall had a great event. Incredibly nice and welcoming. Alright, onto the meal! Earl's brought out drinks and an appetizer to start, unfortunately I was unable to drink this evening, but I could smell the cocktail from across the table. I wanted it, like a lot. The appetizer was a tray of their hush puppies, onion rings, and fries. The tots alone may be the best in the area (at least), but their onion rings take the top spot for my favorite in Winston. Don't get me wrong, fries are my thing, and they're pretty good, but it's hard to compete with the tots and onion rings (And restaurant ranch, obviously). Alright that burger rocks. I don't have a good intro for it, but if you like chicken & waffles (and you should) this is the burger for you. If you don't like chicken & waffles, this is still for you. I mean, this isn't just chicken and waffles. It's a full-on experience. The fried chicken is glazed in sweet sauce that has met a pepper or three. It's decently spicy, not overtly, but it reminds you. The sauce is where it's at; flavorful, sweet, spicy, perfect for this burger. Same for the chicken- we've established that they can fry some food, and they fried the chicken perfectly. The breading was thin enough to not be overwhelmed by the waffle, but was still plenty (and stayed crunchy even with the sauce). Man those waffles though, they did something with them, maybe some extra flavoring in the batter. Doesn't matter, I'm gonna need that waffle recipe. I'll start by saying I'm not a big pickle guy, don't generally care for them. Grain of salt and all that. I didn't take the pickles off and I'm still here to write the review. Okay they were good enough that I'll eat them. Pickles add the acidity the dish needs, and in my opinion, complete the dish. Lastly, this is a Yelp burger event. It's ostensibly for burgers. Was tonight's dish a burger? Yes, yes it is. If you disagree, remember- it's okay to be wrong.

When we first walked in, it was busy and we heard the hostess tell the couple in front of us they would need to wait over an hour for a table - Lucky for me my wife made reservations and we were seated immediately! It was a bit on the noisy side but not so bad we couldn't have a conversation. Our servers, Thomas, was fantastic start to finish with good recommendations, attentive service without being overbearing, and a great personality. Good staff make a business shine! We started with glasses of wine and were impressed with how generous they poured. Perhaps it was a visual illusion, but they felt like very large glasses of wine and made it feel like a very good value. They have a good selection of wines to choose from along with a full bar. Appetizer was the Crab Cake Egg Rolls, something I don't think I've seen anywhere else. They're cooked in Beef Tallow which gave a very savory flavor and crispy texture. They were a bit on the oily side but overall flavor was delicious, and I really liked the dipping sauce which was like a very herb-heavy tartar sauce. For entrees, my wife had the Filet and I had a New York Strip. I don't have the words to describe how delicious and perfectly prepared both of these were. I didn't even bother asking for steak sauce because the perfectly tender and seasoned steak didn't need it. Nobody wants to pay high prices for a steak and receive something low quality, and I was thrilled with the quality of the steaks here. Surrounding tables likewise had great looking meals and I overheard them voicing pleasure too. As sides go, the baked potatoes and salads were excellent too. I got the hot bacon vinegarette dressing and was surprised it was actually served quite hot. It had a really rich and slightly tangy flavor that was unique and I really enjoyed on my salad. I have no complaints here and will absolutely be back. Of course it's on the pricey end, but this is the type of establishment you reserve for a special night out, not your average Tuesday night. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed!

Staff is great, ambience is charming. It's a cool spot with good people. The food was pretty hit or miss. The loaded tots seemed interesting, but really...the just end up a little greasy and kind of unnecessary. Overall flavor is mudled and you don't really get anything by throwing duck on tots. I was hoping it would be one of those dishes that just magically work and are fantastic...but eh, kind of a let down. We also shared a bunch of other dishes. The pimento cheese sandwich was tasty but really hard to eat (the cheese pours out of it). We had their pasta, the duck sandwich (again. It was ok. Not great) the grain bowls seemed enjoyable, etc. We also got some desserts to share. The bourbon bread pudding again, was a pretty big let down. There was generally nothing bourbon about it. The chocolate tart was ok. The food wasn't bad, it just felt like some key items that they seemed to use to elevate their menu as a whole were just misses. But there are absolutely some solid dishes on the menu. The price is also a little high for what you get.

The tenders had a really solid crunch without being greasy, and the hot honey added the perfect sweet heat balance. The Meal 3 with 2 sliders and 2 tenders was probably the standout though. The Patty Melt Crunch slider and Sammy's Melt Burger both had that smashed burger flavor with crispy edges that hit perfectly. The "saucy" hot honey combo worked way better than expected, especially with the hand-cut fries and homemade ranch on the side. Even the fries stayed crispy the whole meal, which says a lot. Portion sizes were solid for the price, the food came out quick, and the whole meal had that fresh-made comfort food vibe instead of tasting overly fast-food style. Washed it all down with a Coke and honestly left full and satisfied. If you're in Winston-Salem and craving sliders, tenders, or late comfort food, Sammy's Sliders is definitely worth trying. The hot honey flavors and smash-style burgers are the move.

Paid $21 for two combo meals--He got three sliders and I got a hotdog. Just plain good food, nothing fancy or special but good. I imagine this would be a great spot for families.
