Looking for a Veggie/Bean Burger option, look no further! Dari-O has you covered! I am a MEAT-Lover and this Bean Burger is amazing! Remember to order an extra side of Chipotle Sauce! I've been to this location before and never had a problem. Tonight , the team was off their game. The drive through wasn't that busy. The guys taking payment and delivering food weren't putting numbers on cars. They weren't taking payment on pads. They were taking cards back to the first window and someone was running it there. They gave me fries instead of onion rings. When I asked to have it corrected, they made me park on the side. I waited about 10 minutes until I waved one of them down and asked him where my onion rings were. He went back inside and came out with my onion rings and an extra order of fries. That was great, I was going to let all this slide. Until I got home and opened my Monster burger. It was a blank burger. No condiments, no lettuce, no pickles, nothing. Just a beef patty on a bun. Luckily I was at home and I had the ingredients to make it what I had ordered.
Always a fan of Dario. The food is ALWAYS good and the service is always friendly. This location is no different, very clean and friendly staff. Parking around this location is a bit tricky as you park not in the restaurant parking area to walk over so be aware of that!
Went to Dario's for ice cream last evening. Amazed how crowded it was for 730 PM on a Sunday. My kids and my wife all ordered hand scooped ice cream. I ordered cake and ice cream sundae. We enjoyed our time and our ice cream. Parking was east like how the menu offered so much options
Dairi-O is possibly the best fast food restaurant there is! This small chain originated in King, North Carolina, in 1947. It was a small, roadside ice cream and hot dog joint. Today there are a dozen or so locations from Jacksonville to Hendersonville. They are modern, clean, and easy to eat in or drive through. The menu ranges from a great hot dog, to burgers of all sizes, chicken, and a variety of sandwiches. They are all good. Dairi-O has a great selection of hand dipped ice cream in bowls or cones. There are shakes and sundaes. The drive through is almost as good as Chic-fil-A. Looking for a fast, quality meal at reasonable prices, look no further than Dairi-O!!
I went pretty early. Patrons were piling in steadily. This was a good sign. The cashier was super nice. I order a hot dog special. The hot dogs and toppings were delicious. I really enjoyed the meal. They give you an ample amount of fries. They had a lot of searing throughout the restaurant. The bathrooms were clean. The restaurant was also clean. I thought I would save room for dessert, but I ate too much with the hot dog special. I will definitely stop in again and the next time I will try their dessert.
Never have I ever had a burger heat up so well. I've simply been sleeping on Dairi-0. I've had people telling me this for so long but I finally stopped in. I picked up a hot dog all the way, a cheeseburger, and some fries. Everything was absolutely delicious. The hot dog was incredible and I tried the burger but ended up saving it for the next day and it heated up very well. I got the jalapeño ranch per some recommendations and it really put everything over the top. I'll be back for more, Dairi-O
Dairio in Winston-Salem has been a longtime favorite of mine since childhood, back when the only spot was in downtown King. I remember the nostalgia every time I go--it's like a trip down memory lane, but with a much bigger menu now! I ordered two plain hot dogs, fries, and a chicken gyro this time. The hot dogs were just as classic as I remembered, no bells and whistles, just good, simple comfort food. The fries were perfectly crispy, and the chicken gyro added an unexpected twist--who knew Dairio could dabble in Mediterranean too? It's the ultimate spot for a bit of everything, just as it's always been.
TLDR: Excellent food, good customer service, and reasonable prices and portions, but poor order accuracy. Dairi-O what happened? We are used to accurate orders, excellent customer service, and delicious food. The customer service and food are still great, but order accuracy has dropped significantly. Be sure to check your order before leaving. Our order was missing 2 chicken tenders, dressing, condiments, napkins, and plasticware. Plus the salad I requested (more than once) to not have cheese, had cheese on it. It would not be as disappointing if it wasn't bleu cheese crumbles. The crumbles are so difficult to remove. Additionally, the entire ordering process was confusing and inconvenient. I think they were trying to make it quicker by having two employees outside, one to take orders and the other to direct drive thru traffic. They try to line up cars in four spaces (2x2) comparable to Chick-fil-A. However, service is inconsistent and customers received their items in a different order than they were placed. Therefore an employee needed to stand out in the cold and play musical cars. If there was not an extra space to move your car then you waited until others received their order. An additional road is opened up occasionally to accommodate one waiting vehicle. The cones are moved by an employee for a car to pull through then they are replaced. We were directed to this area. It was nice since we could pull out to the left to leave. This section is only the width of one car. A lady behind us (I'm assuming a customer), rather than turning right got out of her car, moved the cones, and pulled up behind us. An employee walked up to her to inform her that it was not an exit. She proceeded to berate the employee who remained professional and helpful. We definitely felt bad for him and she had to wait until we retrieved our order anyway. Honestly this interaction may have flustered the employee leading to him not thoroughly checking our order which is completely understandable. If it wasn't for the great food and customer service I would have removed more stars. Overall, we will still eat here and recommend it to others!
My usual go-to is the spicy chicken wrap. So hard to get something else but once in a while I'll grab a burger. Always fresh, great portions, and great service! Love the ice cream options. Kiddos love to get some after our meals. There is always someone out cleaning the dining area. They stay busy, but there's always seating avaiable. Quick and friendly service! read more
Don't know if they were just having an off day or just not able to keep up with their volume, but this Dairi-O pales in comparison to their other locations. It does appear to be very clean in the parking lot and the queue area of the lobby, but all throughout the restaurant were dirty tables and seats, sticky floors, and general disregard for their central drink island. Some of that can be attributed to a poorly designed layout, but that could be remedied with a little attention and care. The shortcomings in cleanliness are definitely reflected in their hospitality. Jaden at the register would benefit from a crash course in enthusiasm. This would be my first robotic interaction with someone at a Dairi-O; but again, maybe just an off day. Overall, this location leaves a bit to be desired. Their food is really hard to mess up, so that's a freebie -- but given that there are other Dairi-Os in the vicinity, we may have to try a different one next time. read more

Dairi-O's is a local chain that serves chicken, burgers, fries, ice cream, etc. You can dine in or drive through at the restaurant. The restaurant is spacious with several tables and booths. We chose to dine in and ordered at the counter. The clerk was helpful and patient with us. We got our food in a timely manner. I ordered a burger with fries & a drink. There is a self-serve fountain drink inside. My fries were hot & were seasoned well. I was able to choose the toppings for my burger. The burger was a nice size & tasted ok. Never have I ever had a burger heat up so well. I've simply been sleeping on Dairi-0. I've had people telling me this for so long but I finally stopped in. I picked up a hot dog all the way, a cheeseburger, and some fries. Everything was absolutely delicious. Ooooh loved the atmosphere of this place. Reminded me of an old diner or something. I got a market salad with apples and crispy chicken, with a raspberry vinaigrette dressing. It was delightful. I really wanted to get some ice cream, but I was too full from my salad. They had sooo many flavors of ice cream that even when I walked over to the ice cream area. Ooooh ya baby. read more

You can't go wrong with Dairi-o's, really great fast food, always pleasant , it does get packed, but thats understandable. One thing I will tell you is, should you dine in, try to park on the left side of the buliding(closer to the food lion building) rather than the right side, you will get stuck in DRIVE THRU traffic, and that's no fun. We made that mistake and couldn't leave the parking for 20 min or so, but other than that its great. read more

I really wanted to love this more. We both got the combo dogs all the way. I should've added more toppings for my preference. Food was hot and service was good. The buns are really sweet, which threw me off. The fries are AMAZING though. So good. Got a free combo meal as my bf is active duty, which is a very generous deal. read more

Kinda disappointed at this location. The last time I came, my toddler's chicken strips were hard as a rock and they forgot my tzatziki sauce. Went there again yesterday evening, after a few months and was surprised I was given the tzatziki sauce and chicken strips cooked perfectly. Got home to open the tzatziki sauce and my stomach started turning. It was thick and looked like cheese curds. So freaking disgusted. read more
Two words. Cheeseburger pita. Ground beef, onions, green peppers, mayo, and a whole lotta cheese. INCREDIBLE! Best known for their burgers and hotdogs here. Also, have lighter options, grilled chicken, Turkey dogs, salads, soups, and grill cheese. While it is fast food, the restaurant is always impeccably clean and delivers exceptional service. They also have a large, tasty ice cream selection of you're feeling that dessert pocket and want a freshly made waffle cone, hence the name "Dairi-ooooo" :) read more

The one in Kernersville is much much better. This one has cold fries and cashier was not attentive. Order was wrong. Took it back and she was not happy to help lol! First bad experience with this burger chain. So I will stick with the Kernersville location. Geesh! read more

Stopped in today around noon to find not much of a line. This location has a lot of indoor seating and a drive thru line that goes relatively quick from what I could see from the seat I chose. I ordered the jalapeño chicken salad with jalapeño ranch and a side of coleslaw. The order was quick and came out within 3-4 minutes. First impressions were that they kind of skimped on the dressing, giving me two small containers that were both half full. The slaw was amazing and I'm upset it was a tiny cup for $1.50, I was expecting a larger portion. The chicken in the salad was hot, had nice grill marks, and was pre-sliced, but not all the way through. I had to take the chicken off along with the red onion to cut them up all the way. The bacon is crunchy and clearly isn't the fake bacon bits a lot of places would use. Overall a great quality salad, just was a little dry since I didn't have enough dressing. The salad also came with two small packages of crackers that had two in each. Would have been nice to have them dipped in any excess dressing if I had any left. I'm sure I'll be back for this salad again as it's better than any other fast food salad that I've ever tried, just wish there was more consistency between visits. read more
