I love how the restrooms have red and green lights to let you know if they are available. There's also plenty of parking and lots of pumps, so getting in and out is easy. Overall, Buc-ee's is certainly not just a gas station--it's an experience. Consider a free to visit attraction! The gentleman said "No substitutions!" He didn't direct us somewhere else to just get the sliced turkey by itself or offer to speak to a manager or anything... Guess no more Buc-ee's stops for us!! In the past two weeks that I've been here one lady was straight up eating a sandwich while cashing out guests, and another time a different female was eating a bag of Doritos and licking her fingers in between customer cash outs and wiping her hands on her pants. Not only is that disgusting and unsanitary, but your customers don't want their items to be touched by the hands of someone that's been eating at the cashier station and also don't want to be rude and do what should be the manager's job to begin with.

Sometimes there are crackheads hanging out in the parking lot. The prices are pretty decent. I guess they're OK, the price is inside are relatively high for gas station prices. They carry some hot food, but they don't rotate it very often so sometimes you have to wait for it and sometimes it's stale. It's never very clean inside in the bathrooms are always trashed. I mean, you know what you're gonna get when you go there, the only people that go in here is usually people from the neighborhood so if you know what to expect it's not too shocking. If you're into frozen yogurt they have Yobe. But lookout as a cupful with topping can get quite pricey. I think the reason why their food is decent is they let their employees test their food at their kitchen at the headquarters. My friend who works for Gate shared this with me. It's like their internal focus group. Maybe that's how they keep their food offerings appealing to all. There's so much more to Gate than just gas. Aside from food they also sell lottery & even have blood pressure machine similar to a Higi station at Publix. Lucky me I don't have to go far to take advantage of this convenience store.
