This was not your average gas station. It had stations with sandwiches and someone making them fresh. A big wall of jerk treats and so many different flavors to choose from. A Homegoods area, chocolates, jerk treats, fruits, dessert, nuts, coffee, grills, pool things, coolers and so much more. Plan to be here for a while. The place was spotless. The staff never stopped working. They were helping and friendly. I liked being here. It was a pleasure getting gas.

If you know, you know -- Buc-ee's isn't just a gas station, it's a full-on road trip ritual. Every…read moretime I'm traveling through, this is a must-stop destination. Yes, it's always busy and packed, but somehow the atmosphere still feels incredibly welcoming and well organized. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by bright lights, upbeat energy, and rows upon rows of snacks and ready-to-grab goods. The staff are consistently friendly despite the crowds, which honestly makes the experience even better. I love browsing the souvenir section -- there's everything from classic Buc-ee's beaver merch to fun travel finds that make perfect gifts or little memories from the road. Food-wise, the variety is impressive. Fresh snacks, hot bites, sweet treats, and endless grab-and-go options that make you want to try a little bit of everything -- and don't forget the jerky. The jerky wall alone is iconic, with so many flavors and textures that it's almost impossible to leave without grabbing a bag (or two). It's dangerously easy to walk out with way more than you planned -- but that's part of the fun. Outside, the sheer number of gas pumps makes fueling up surprisingly efficient, even during peak hours. Clean, lively, and consistently reliable, Buc-ee's turns a simple pit stop into an experience. Whether you're road-tripping or just passing through, it's one of those places that makes the journey feel just as fun as the destination.

I had an so so experience at this gas station, but unfortunately, I was taken by an uncomfortable…read moresituation. While I was pumping gas, a homeless man kept asking me for money. I tried to politely decline since I had no cash and offered him something to eat from inside the store but all he kept saying is he needed money for food. He then followed me inside where I asked again, what can I buy you. He became mute and just stared at me. It made me feel a bit uneasy. The gas station itself was fine, but the interaction really left a bad taste. Hopefully, the staff can keep an eye out for situations like this in the future as they really didn't get involved.

Especially talking to people with your attitude demanding first class service? No. Gas station not a rewarding job especially if it's 24/7, at some point you'll get a shift you don't wanna do that's way too early or way too late or both at the same time. This place has basically a fast food restaurant inside and they have good stuff. Burgers and burritos and all. I'd go here way before Jack in the Box. And frozen yogurt! Never have I ever. We don't get that luxury in California. You know what else they have though, chicharrones and cracklins. Same thing. But multiple flavors. So bad, the bags are so light and airy and one bag does not look like it could possibly have that many calories in it. But 5-7 servings each. Those were gone in one day. Won't have to worry about snacking on them now I guess.

In the past two weeks that I've been here one lady was straight up eating a sandwich while cashing out guests, and another time a different female was eating a bag of Doritos and licking her fingers in between customer cash outs and wiping her hands on her pants. Not only is that disgusting and unsanitary, but your customers don't want their items to be touched by the hands of someone that's been eating at the cashier station and also don't want to be rude and do what should be the manager's job to begin with.

This gas station is large, very conveniently located and open 24 hours, but it could use a few…read moreimprovements and some employees could benefit from more training in customer service. PROS - It is usually fairly clean, has an area to check the air in your vehicle's tires, an area to vacuum and freshen up the interior, a good car wash and a number of parking spaces. If all you need to do is get gas and clean your car, you likely won't even need to go inside the store, especially if you bring cash for the vacuum and put your car wash on your card. Makes things much faster, and is especially helpful when you are in a hurry. CONS - You can get much better coffee and tea at the nearby Starbucks, and it would be worth the extra cost. Much better sandwiches and salads are available at Jersey Mike's next door, Panera, or even Wendy's and it would be well worth the trip. Most of the employees late at night are too busy chatting with others to be helpful, and it is so busy during the day that getting in and out is a real pain. A couple of the employees in particular are surly no matter what shift they are working, which is a real problem that needs to be addressed. Overall - Good for gas, cleaning up your vehicle and grabbing a quick snack or a soda, but not for lunch or coffee, because several other better options are available nearby.

They also have a counter along one of the windows with stools so you can sit to eat. I see a lot of construction workers in here eating on their lunch break. Gas is about the cheapest you'll find in the area, so it's a good place to fill up. There are plenty of pumps, so there usually isn't a wait to get to one. They also have free air here for your tires. Then, of course, they have the usual like any convenience store like cigs, soda, beer, and snacks.

Also they have a collection of interesting junk food like Conchas, Mexican sweet bread. With the high foot traffic their coffee is bound to be fresh. If you're into sodas you can buy their refillable cup & your next refill is only 90 cents. I've on a few occasions tried their Tamale. It's not doughy but actually has decent filling. If you're into frozen yogurt they have Yobe. But lookout as a cupful with topping can get quite pricey. I think the reason why their food is decent is they let their employees test their food at their kitchen at the headquarters. My friend who works for Gate shared this with me. It's like their internal focus group. Maybe that's how they keep their food offerings appealing to all. There's so much more to Gate than just gas. Aside from food they also sell lottery & even have blood pressure machine similar to a Higi station at Publix. Lucky me I don't have to go far to take advantage of this convenience store.
