Unfortunately, I have to downgrade the rating from 2 stars to 1…read more I went back to this location today (to take advantage of the extra $0.15/gallon discount on the Shell app). I always use the app, but the first pump I tried gave me an error message on the app. It said it was already "in use" (although no one was there) and to select a different pump. So, I moved to another pump. This one had no sign on it but would not allow me to pay via the app. I had to pay inside. But I didn't want to pay inside. That's why I use the app. So, I went to a different Shell station. This time, the app had an issue saying that I could not pay via the app because I had "exceeded my spending limit" - despite the fact that I hadn't paid for anything yet. I can only guess that because I had tried to pay twice before - but didn't follow through - the app wouldn't allow me to try to use it for payment again. Fully fed up now, I stayed at that Shell location and paid by my bank card - thereby forgoing any loyalty member discounts. Thanks to a combination of poor service (from the first location), pump issues (again at the first location), and app issues, that will be the last time I use the app or go to Shell. There are a lot of other gas stations to choose from. I am fed up and frustrated. Congratulations, Shell! You've just lost a formerly loyal customer.

Cashier's are helpful, friendly and fast. Stores are all meticulously clean-inside and outside. I won a gas card for $25.00, by signing up for the sweepstakes. Thank you! I also win with their Customer Rewards app! Pros: ample parking, clean stores, hot food served, customer rewards. Cons:none Recommend? Yes 100%

This is probably one of the worst gas stations I have ever had the displeasure of visiting in my…read moreentire life. Let me give you a rundown really quickly. To start off, when I walked in, there was already a spilled coffee near the left-side entrance that didn't have a wet floor sign on it; do you know how much of a safety hazard that is? Speaking of coffee, not only were the variations all horrendously overpriced, but two of the coffee bean variations were swapped compared to the actual labels on the dispensers; talk about false advertising! I went to try and get some dessert, but the dispensers for that weren't working either, and the ice within the bags had basically all but melted; you might as well have been selling pure water in a bag at that point. And don't even get me started on the absolutely astronomical gas prices at this location; I mean, seriously? Upwards of $4 a gallon? That's highway robbery......which is what I would say if it was actually affordable to drive on the highway right now, which it's not. On top of that, let me end this off with my restroom experience. Apparently, when I tried to use the restroom, the restroom was closed for cleaning......which would be fine, except that there were no obvious signs or posted labels indicating to me that the restroom was closed, or that there was someone currently even in the process of cleaning it to begin with! Imagine my surprise and shock when I walked in on the custodian in the middle of them cleaning the restroom......and they have the gall to get mad at me for "walking in on them", even though there was no clear sign that the restroom was closed for cleaning! I walked out of this gas station in an exponentially worse state than when I walked into it; at that point, I might as well have just relied on my own red Jerry cans at home, because I'm getting too old for this nonsense. "Gate Petroleum"? More like "Gate Pe-TROLL-eum", because I felt pretty trolled by the time my experience was done. If I could give this a negative rating, I would. But I can't, so I'm just going to settle for a one-star rating out of five. As for how they can probably improve......you could probably think of completely cutting off this location's funding, severing the underground gas lines, or just outright demolishing the establishment entirely and replacing it with something actually useful, like an Internet cafe. At least then, the prices would actually be halfway reasonable. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk, and I hope you have a nice day! :D
