I came to this nail shop for a simple pedicure with glow in the dark polish. I was told they "didn't have it," which already felt weird because I had literally just gotten my nails done days before and KNOW they had glow in the dark colors available. Then TWO DAYS after getting my toes done, the polish on my big toe started cracking, lifting, and peeling up badly. The entire top layer looked rushed and uneven, especially around the side of the nail. It honestly looked like the polish never cured/dried correctly in the first place. I went back because obviously a fresh pedicure should NOT be falling apart after 48 hours. Instead of actually fixing the problem correctly, they acted irritated that I even came back. The attitude was nasty from the start. All they did was slap more paint over the cracked area and dry it again instead of removing it and redoing the toe properly. You can still literally see the damage and unevenness. On top of that, they tried to pressure me into tipping an extra $5 AFTER giving poor service and a lazy repair. The issue with my toe was clearly caused by improper application/cure time on THEIR end, not because of anything I did. A pedicure should last weeks, not crack and peel in two days. Between the lying about the glow in the dark polish, the rushed work, the bad attitude, and trying to force a tip after messing up my toe, I definitely will not be returning. so first and foremost this is my first time going here in a while!! I requested pink to white ombre which is not at all what I received . the nail tech was clearly in a rush , she did my sisters while cutting her several times and then after immediately used the same tools on my nails ; no cleaning them no anything . after cutting me time and time again and me flinching she would just say " I'm doing my best" after a day of having them day my index finger became swollen and had a green puss sack , it eventually popped and now my finger is shooting pain all the way down my arm, the puss sack is still there . this is ridiculous and exactly why I will never cheat on my salon again. read more

Worst manicure I've ever had. I didn't realize just how awful it was until after I left. I chose a neon yellow and the lady insisted the polish was thick enough and wouldn't need a white base coat. It's so patchy and awful! It also chipped in under a day, and the filing job left much to be desired. I went home and filed them down so they would be even. I chose this place because I just moved to the area and this is the closest nail salon to me. I'll probably venture out to Conyers for my next manicure, this one is downright embarrassing. read more

I want to daily nails on 8 November I had never experienced service quite like theirs it was terrible. I have went there previously to get my nails done which I only went there because I am in town visiting my mother and it was the closest nail shop to her house the service there was not bad the first time around I am honest so I will be truthful on that part I went to one of the managers that sit in first chair when you walk in the door on the right. She did not provide me with what I ask but I still I was satisfied when it came to my nails when I go to nail technicians or to a hair shop I pretty much show them designs or tell them to do what they like if they know me well enough or give me something similar. So I had her remove 2 nails so I could try the clear nails and I wanted fall leaves she gave me more of a spring leave colors. Which match the nail color on my nails that I had pick out. So I assume that you was the leaves she had. She ask if I like it I said yes. That was that. Moving on to my toes I had acrylic on my right big toe already and I wanted to put it on my other one to make it even so I did. The 1st time there and fill my other big toe. Now when I came back on the 8th of November I tried to go back to the same lady but she was book so she told me to show her co- work and so I did. I think they was offend that I didn't want to get service from someone else. It all started there. But I was ok I ask the young lady for 3 colors and show her a design and told her I wanted fall leaves on my clear nails not knowing I would have to take my clear nails off and start over. And the woman said because you don't jave fall leaves on. But I can put some on. I said well I ask her to put some on last time and this is what she put on so I assume this is what y'all had. So she said that's between y'all two. Do you wany the fall leaves or not. So I became agitated at that point and said no I am good. Just leave it. I pick my color and I sat there in silence I did not say a word for a while then I realized it was not her fault she did not put that on my hands no I did they had fall leaves so I begin to speak to lighten the mood. The mail tech talk and talk and talk. And she finally said they are ready for you at the pedicure chair and I said can you cut my nails down and she said almost done and I said OK I still want my nails cut down. She took me to the pedicure chair and came over so I assume she was going to cut them down and I asked again she proceeded to paint my nails I let her paint my nails with one coat and then I said OK well my nails are too long she then say it will be a five dollar charge and I said for what shape she said it is no longer Coffin because they will be cut to low. I sat there and then I finally said you could start a wait for her which was the lady to do it by mail is the first time when she's done with her customer I'll let her finish up and continue to do my nails. They both stated I need to let my nails dry up under the machine I said that's fine I wanted to waited to waited on the other lady to do my nails and I will wait. While I was waiting the lady that was doing my toes ask if I wanted to fill and I told her no another lady that was sitting down came up and said well since you're not getting a fill I wanted to make you aware when the paint goes on your toes there will be a gap and you will be able to see the gap and I told her that was fine and she said OK I just wanted to make you aware and I asked her who is the manager and she said myself and her which was the lady to do my nails the first time and I said OK well I can explain to you what's going on I told her everything that happened and she said well you need to let your hands dry after getting another coat I said that's fine and she did it. She apologize to me for what happened and she asked for me to come back and I paid my money and I left. Well last night my paint is chipping all my nails and the whole all right acrylic toe nail has come off. I called the shop today and spoke to the manager that first day at my nails to make her aware where I was in the area I will be by so it could be fix my nails in my toe when I called she it mediately said that I was the woman that was mad and refused to let my nails dry and I told her no that's not what happened I got my nails dry from the other manager and that I was just trying to get my stuff fixed she hung up the phone on me. Well I made it to her shop 9 November with my receipt in hand she was over talking me she was rude and nasty the other manager was not in there hence why would she be back she told me on the 10th could I come back at 6 PM and I asked what was going to be done she said they would paint my toenails or I could pay to get another acrylic toe because I got that service done somewhere else and it had been at work for a month which was a true statement and that I could not come back before 6 PM because The other manager had other clien read more

A waste of time and money. Paid for half-a$$ work. Came in for a manicure with a short wait time(which was great. She started with no prep work what so ever. That is manicure 101! Always prep the nails before laying anything on it. She used a nail drill to even the nail bed and that's it. Didn't touch my cuticles at all. She glued the tips on past the free edge, so now you can see it through the work. When she filed the nails, SIGH...I will post pictures. There are too many wrong things to point out. read more

Horrible service. I came in for a SNS set and Hana used a drill to remove the SNS, which caused one of my nails to break. She then proceeded to use the drill which made my nails thin. Two days later (today) my nail broke. I went in for a nail repair and they tell me it will be an hour to repair it. No thanks, I'll find a new salon. Oh and the powder is not made by SNS. This is probably the WORST nail salon that I've ever been to. The older lady, I believe her name was Ruby, did my nails and it was terrible. She was eating seaweed at the same time and had crumbs all over her face and hands while doing my manicure. She cut my cuticles down so low that they are sore. She did a crappy job on my nails, pics to follow. However, the young lady who did my pedicure was great. She was nice and she did a really good job on my feet and was very gentle. She ensured that I was comfortable and was interactive regarding my pedicure. When I was halfway through, they informed me that the credit card machine wasn't working. I told them that I did not mind going to Kroger to get cash. When the older lady finished my nails, she asked for my card to "try" even though the other lady told her that it wasn't working. She tried running my card and it didn't work. I then told her that I'd go get the money from Kroger. When I got to Kroger I looked directly behind me and the older lady from the Salon was watching me. She followed me and it made me feel extremely uncomfortable. She then asked for the money from the ATM and I told her that I needed change so we had to walk back to the salon. It was uncomfortable for her to follow me but it was even more uncomfortable for her to be following so closely. I will not be returning to this salon because of the poor nail service that was rendered, and also because I feel that I was profiled. There was a white lady who had to go get cash and she was not followed. Even if they felt uncomfortable about me leaving I believe that they could have been more discreet about it. I have been going to Daily Nails for almost five years. Tina is the person I asked for. When she went on vacation and then recently she has had some health problems. I saw Hana who butchered my hands. I had twelve cuts from the drill and her filing. I refused the pedicure. The manager did my nails the next time without a problem. I scheduled an appointment with Tina for a fill-in and a pedicure. Angie, the manager, started arguing with Tina for someone else to do the pedicure. They were not busy. This is not the first time this has happened. Angie made me feel so uncomfortable and I think she forgets I'm paying for the service. I cannot go back with the tension and attitude. She is usually so sweet. I'm sad that I will not be able to see Tina. She is a wonderful person and a great manicurist. I hate loosing her but don't need the tension. I'm now at Allure and see Jenny who is great. read more

NEVER AGAIN will I pay for HORRIBLE customer service!!! Let me start by saying I tried this place because it was much closer to my home and because a good friend recommended it. I was the second person to come in the door. First of all, among the four women that worked there, NOT ONE of them said hello! That was strike one for me (I'm a big stickler for customer service and plain old "common courtesy")! So, as I am receiving a "deluxe pedicure", I decide that I don't like my color. Yes, I chose the color myself but I didn't like it once it was on my toes. When I asked the lady if I could change the polish, she looked at me as if I was growing 2 heads and was inconveniencing her!!! STRIKE TWO! The final straw that made me decide to NEVER walk through the doors of this nail salon is that they wouldn't take my card! "SUPPOSEDLY" they don't take cards from SunTrust Bank! As I tell the woman that I didn't have another card, I let her know that I would walk next door to Kroger to get cash and come right back. THIS WOMAN ACTUALLY FOLLOWED ME to Kroger as if I wouldn't return or as if I would not pay for my pedi!!! Even though it SUCKED, I would NEVER skip out on a service regardless of how bad I was treated! I am a teacher and a law abiding citizen. Being shifty is not one of my character traits! I recently moved to Covington and I needed to find a nearby nail salon, so I decided to go here. Clearly, that was a big mistake! I received the WORSE service ever at this location today. The owner (Lynn) of the establishment is very unprofessional and doesn't know how to handle customers when a technician does poor quality work. I asked the nail technician to fix the solar nails that she filled in for me because the shapes and lengths were completely different on each nail! She refused to fix my nails, so I asked her to remove the work she had done so I could go to another nail salon. She did, but I still had to pay for the poor work she did, which was removed!
