I've been wanting to try this place out for a while! I went on an early Tuesday afternoon. The place has recently rebranded as Vaiv. I was the only one there went I went. There are many coffee and matcha options. I was not hungry but definitely want to try the food options next time! The pastries looked unique and yummy as well. I got the biscoff latte iced with almond milk. I did not like the style of latte as much personally, as all of the milk was on the top and then the espresso wasn't mixing in well with the milk. There also was not as much ice for an iced drink as I prefer. However, I will definitely be back to try different beverages. The inside looks great to do work as there was lots of plugs, spaces to spread out, and it wasn't as crowded as some other local spots. The employees were sweet and patient with me looking through all they have to offer there!
I had been eyeing this place for a bit and finally got around to trying it out. Lately I've been getting a hot crème brûlée latee with oat milk & a toasted marshmallow on top. So yummy. I want to try the food so eventually I'll update my review on that. The coffee shop is small, but cute and chill. I feel comfortable coming here to get work done without being bothered lol. I didn't get the gentleman's name who takes my order but he is kind. The customer service on the ladies that are employed here could definitely be up to par with the friendliness and hospitality. The coffee shop is a little easy to miss if you don't know your way around so pay attention when you're pulling up.
Parking is limited in the parking lot. I ordered a raspberry matcha that had a raspberry cold foam and raspberry puree, it was not well balanced with the matcha. There would be times that you would get sips of raspberry but not throughout the whole drink. Matcha flavor was decent but still had like a sandy taste as if not mixed properly. Service was good including the prep time of the drink, the overall cafe space is also nice but one thing that I wasn't to pleased about was that it appeared that the owners/family members were also in the lobby talking amongst themselves and were quite loud, that ruined the overall vibe of the place so that's why only 4 stars. I usually go to cafes for a nice chill vibe accompanied by a nice drink or light meal with nice music sometimes also being in the mix.

I can't have too much caffeine, so was hoping to get decaf, but they didn't have that option! My husband ended up getting a matcha, and it was mediocre. Since they didn't have decaf, I didn't get anything. My husband also got a biscoff crossiant, and it was okay! It's definitely too sweet. Service was fine. We didn't wait long for the matcha, but not sure we'd come back!

Heard of this place from TikTok, and was so excited to try it. The place is very cute, but the parking is terrible. There's a good amount of customers, but based on service, I believe there was only one employee running everything. Orders came out very slow, but it was understandable. We ordered the banana matcha, tiramisu matcha, dubai chocolate matcha, and an americano. As for the food, we ordered the breakfast toastie and dubai chocolate crepe. Our matcha drinks came out first. Based on the menu, I really thought that matcha is what they'd specialize in, but it was a a bit disappointing because it lacked that strong matcha taste in all the drinks. Our food came out next, and the presentation is amazing. The food was actually very good. The dubai chocolate had so much pistachio knafeh! Unfortunately, the americano came out last when it should've came out the same time as the matcha drinks. Overall, I'm not sure if I would could back here if I need a dose of caffeine. However, if I am hungry and in the area, I would definitely come back and try their other food items.
My husband and I finally checked out Daily Cup, and this little gem is definitely worth the visit if you're a matcha lover like us - or just a fan of unique drinks done right. I ordered the Matchamisu Latte, which combines two of my favorite flavors. Imagine the earthy richness of matcha paired with a silky tiramisu mascarpone cream, topped with a ladyfinger cookie and a dusting of matcha powder on top. It's indulgent, delicious, and reminded me of a "dirty matcha" vibe; think tiramisu but with matcha instead of espresso. Such a fun twist on a classic dessert! My husband had the Banana Cream Matcha Latte and WOW ... holy banana pudding in a cup. I was skeptical at first, but the flavor profile was so smooth and nostalgic, I could've easily finished his drink too. It blends the mellow sweetness of banana cream with the matcha in such a seamless, dreamy way. SO good! The café itself is cute and charming, though small and slightly warm inside (there's no central AC, just a corner unit.) The vibe is relaxed and cozy, very much in line with their motto: Your Cozy Corner Café. The wait was a little long, but the friendly staff more than made up for it. Definitely a sweet new spot with creative drinks that live up to the hype. We'll be back!
The decorations were cute and it was very bright inside. There are only two ports in here so it is not ideal to study or do work. Both the inside and the parking out front were small. Seats and tables were constantly full but there were always people coming and going. My friend and I each ordered a croissant and she got a tiramisu latte. The food was a little overpriced and took a while to come out but it was crispy and pretty good, just a little basic.

She was friendly and inviting Wait time: wait time was @30mins for 2 coffee, there was about 2 other couples before us. It is one person at the front. Seating:both indoor and outdoor. Place has welcoming seating , high chairs, wide comfy chairs and booth seating. Price: Average Drink: both espresso latte and tiramisu were delicious. Tiramisu had a cookie on the top, as it got soggy it gave a texture of actual cake. Latte was not too sweet just right. I've amount was also just right to where it didn't taste watered down. Over all place was clean, inviting and yummy. Will be coming back.
Cafe Sundays! Walked-in for some brunch and it served! They just opened not too long ago, so was still getting in the groove of timeliness of getting the orders out to the tables. A must get item was the Dubai Chocolate Toastie! In-between each layer of brioche was the kataifi pistachio creamy mix and topped off was more pistachio cream and ooey gooey chocolate. Presentation was on point and loved the mixture in textures you get in each bite. Really good!! For savory, got the All Day Breakfast Toastie and Royale Smoked Salmon. Both were okay, I wish the bread was toasted a bit more. For a drink, I got the White Chocolate Lavender Foam Latte with an extra shot of espresso. I maybe should've gotten the drink a little more sweeter, because it kinda just tasted like milk. I got oat milk for substitution. Next time i will get 75 or 100% sweetness vs 50%. Staff was friendly. Good amount of seating indoors and some outdoors on the patio. Parking - Some, but not a lot within their own lot Restroom - single stall, a little dirty

This is a great place. Sorry that no one from Houston Chowhounds would join us today but our Coffee and Conversation at Daily Cup VAIV....the coffee and crepes are WONDERFUL. I had visited this place when it first opened and I could tell that they were on their learning curve, so I decided to hold off revisiting. Today I learned that there is a new ownership, going on 3 months. And the new manager owner brings with him four years experience, managing coffee shops in Fredericksburg plus other coffee related projects. They are now using the most excellent. District Coffee, have lots of specialty drinks that I'm dying to try. And the smoked salmon crêpe gets a big thumbs up from all of us here today. Excellent ambiance. Inside and outside. read more

I had a wonderful experience at Daily Cup. Both the drinks and the food were absolutely delicious, and everything exceeded my expectations. I ordered the Mango Matcha, which was refreshing, perfectly balanced, and full of flavor. I also tried the French Toast with Dubai chocolate and it was incredibly rich and satisfying--definitely a standout item on the menu. Overall, the quality, taste, and presentation were excellent. I highly recommend Daily Cup and will definitely be returning. read more

I stopped by after hearing there was new ownership, and I'm so glad I did! VAIV Coffee has such a welcoming vibe, and everything we ordered was amazing. The coffee was delicious, the food was fresh and beautifully plated, and the service was warm and attentive. read more

I absolutely loved the Dubai chocolate toastie. It was so sweet and flavorful! I also loved the raspberry foam matcha. Highly recommend both!! It was small with very limited parking and took awhile to get the food. There were only two employees working at the time. It was also a bit pricey in my opinion. My bill was 28 dollars for the toastie and matcha drink. read more
Interesting, mid-block coffee shop. Relatively new everything, decent coffee, right across from a high school. 100% empty mid-morning, mid-week. Need to circle back to try again when there's more foot traffic. Concern is they may be flooded with line out the door each day school lets out. read more

My coworker recommended this coffee shop and I had to give her thanks. I really enjoyed my visit here for the first time. I got the popular Biscoff latte, which was so delicious! I also ordered the Banane Royale Crepe, it was pretty good as well. I give this crepe an 8/10 - only because I thought it would be filled on this inside but it wasn't. I came on a Thursday around 9am it was only one family here; so it was very calm and quiet on the inside. Perfect spot to get work done. The parking lot is kind of small but plenty of seating, inside or outside. I love the aesthetics and decor on the inside as well. The staff member was also nice; not as outgoing/extroverted as some other baristas but still professional. I'll definitely keep this coffee shop on my list for whenever I'm near the area! read more

Visited for the first tine today and ordered the seasonal special: Pumpkin Spice Cream Latte. The drink was excellent and I would order it again. I liked how the pumpkin cream foam was extra thick. The pumpkin spice syrup also had a really good flavor - just enough pumpkin spice, but not too overpowering. The cons: (1) WiFi was not working; there was a sign with the WiFi name and password, but when searching available WiFi networks, it was nowhere to be found (2) Two smoke alarms were beeping constantly the entire time and could be heard throughout the seating area and entire place; 1 was definitely in the bathroom and the other sounded like it was in the back kitchen area (I assume the batteries simply need to be replaced). I deducted 1 star for the lack of working WiFi and 1 star for the beeping smoke alarms. read more
I wanted to love this place but objectively my experience just wasn't great. I came for the Dubai chocolate brioche but they were completely out by 2pm so that was quite disappointing given all the marketing online focused on this as their selling point. I ended up going with the lotus and banana brioche that was quite good though! My other issue was with the service. Everyone who worked there was very kind and checked on us multiple times but things came out really slowly. I watched ppl who came in later get their full orders before we got our drinks. And even then, we had to ask them on two separate occasions if our drinks were ready when everyone around us that came in after already got served. I got the lavender white chocolate which I'd give a 3/5. It was good and had real lavender pieces but it was extremely sweet. I'd go down to 70% next time. The interior decor was extremely cute, not too minimal and had some spots of bright color which I think suits the brunch aesthetic. The music is a tad loud. There's not too many seats indoor or outdoor so if you come during rush hour you'd probably have trouble finding a spot. They do have their own parking lot but it's quite small so carpool if you can! read more

My friend and I went to a relatively new cafe in Houston called Daily Cup. They had a special collab with an influencer for matcha items in May. We got their matcha misu and banana cream matcha latte. I was iffy on the matcha misu at first but I ended up liking it more as I kept drinking it. Make sure you just eat the cookie first because mine fell in my drink and became a soggy mess later. The banana cream latte kind of just tasted like banana milk, you couldn't really taste the matcha at all. They also have a matcha brûlée toast that looked really good but I didn't try it. There's limited seating inside but it does look pretty vibey. There's not that many outlets though so I probably wouldn't study here again. Parking is very limited abs cramped but if the lot is ever full there's street parking around the next street read more
The service was very good! The one employee who was working was doing it all and she was very nice. I got 2 of their matcha drinks. The banana matcha and the tiramisu latte. Both the drinks tasted watered down so I wouldn't order them again. The drinks weren't cheap so I do wish there was more of a Matcha flavor. read more

I recently visited Daily Cup after a friend recommended their croissant, and I'm so glad I did! This small but cozy coffee shop has a welcoming vibe, with plenty of seating inside and a nice outdoor patio that's both comfortable and relaxing. They also have a private parking lot, which is always a plus in Houston. I ordered a large Chai Latte ($6.30) with soy milk and a Butter Croissant ($4.75). The chai had a spicy kick, and the croissant was buttery, flaky, and great. My 14-month-old son loved it too! We sat outside, and the patio was comfortable and peaceful. Beyond coffee, their menu has pastries, savory brioche, bubble teas, and more, so I'm definitely looking forward to coming back and trying more. Highly recommend for a coffee break! read more

My girlfriends and I were looking for a dessert/coffee place after our brunch and we came to Daily Cup for the Dubai French Toast! The cafe is small and quaint, parking is a little tricky when the lot is full. It was busy the time we went and we waited quite a bit for our drinks and French Toast. There were only 2-3 people working behind the counter and kitchen. We tried several drinks (some not pictured) and they were good! I ordered the Speculoos ice latte and it was delicious, however, I did wish it was colder. The main highlight was the Dubai French toast. It was perfect! The bread was soft and filling was crunchy knafeh and surprisingly, NOT too sweet! I would recommend to come here to try the toast if you've got the sweet tooth for it. read more

Hands down food, coffee, match all. Will come back for food? Yes. Scenery-no. Parking is hard. Reason to hesitate-it takes 40 min to wait for the food. Many items also seem not available and ran out. Such as, they ran out of pancakes and maple syrup which should be essential for brunch cafe. But my wait was worth it, food is delicious. Hope they will catch up for these issues. read more
This new coffee shop just recently opened and I was very excited to check it out as it's in my neighborhood. Upon walking in the staff were super friendly and the vibe inside is very tropical lounge. We arrived around 9:00am and attempted to order at about 9:05am. The barista told us to wait 20 minutes because the hot chocolate "wasn't ready." All three of us wanted to try the hot chocolate, so we said no problem and decided to wait, holding off on ordering food as well. Twenty minutes later, after watching her serve roughly 20 other customers, we got back in line to order. At that point, she told us the hot chocolate still wasn't ready and that she was "about to add sugar," so we would need to wait even longer. We mentioned that we were students and asked about the student discount that's clearly displayed at the front. She said no since we didn't have our student IDs, which is understandable. We then asked if there was any way to receive a discount considering we had already waited about 45 minutes just to place an order. She declined. At that point, the customer service was pretty disappointing. She finally took our order for three hot chocolates. We didn't order any food anymore because of how long everything was taking and the lack of communication. After nearly an hour total, we noticed what looked like an Uber grocery delivery bringing in multiple heavy creams in grocery bags. It became clear they were likely out of ingredients. If that had been communicated from the beginning, we would have happily ordered something else instead of being told repeatedly that it "wasn't ready" or just needed sugar. The hot chocolate itself was good, but waiting an hour with minimal communication and no effort to make the situation right really took away from the experience. Everything has room to improve, especially transparency and customer service. read more

If you're looking for something totally different from your usual coffee order, Daily Cup's Coconut Cheese Cold Latte is worth a try! At first, I wasn't sure what to expect coconut and cheese in a latte? But it totally works and the owner is so sweet!!!! The coconut flavor is smooth and creamy and it's not overpowering, just a nice hint of saltiness that keeps it from being too sweet. If you're thinking of trying I would highly recommend ! Next time I will be trying the almond croissant it looked so yummy. Ambiance was super quaint and cozy with a little outdoor patio. They just opened recently and so happy we love it only thing is parking can be tricky but overall 5/5 read more

I see a lot of comments that of course have their own opinion on some things that they didn't like. In my opinion yes, the parking is limited. First come first serve and you'll get the best out of those items on menu. The place is calm and it's not as crowded. I'm my experience I went there an hour after they opened with my mom and they explained things in menu. Friendly staff. I personally did not like the tiramisu latte since it was too sweet, but you can literally choose how sweet and the amount of ice. I went there the 2nd time with a friend early and actually sat down and ABSOLUTELY loved the matcha drink with raspberry foam. Matcha lovers will love it. We sat down and the powdered almond croissant was amazing. Will definitely go back! read more

We just dropped in try the Dubai chocolate crepe. It was unfortunately sold out when we came in but it didn't matter because everything else was so good! Hubby and i split the Saint Honore Brioche and I also got a sugar cream matcha. It was all so delicious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. This place will def be a repeat for date night read more
I drove by and noticed this place for the first time today, so I stopped in. They have been open for a week. The sign outside says coffee, tea, and baked goods. I would describe it as a mix between a coffee shop and a Boba shop in the sense that they have options for your drinks, such as level of sweetness and cheese foam. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. The inside is very cute and well thought out in their design. There is a nice little front porch to sit on as well. I got the coconut cheese foam latte with oat milk hot 25% sweet. If I approach the drink as a sweet treat, it is quite good. However, it does not have enough caffeine for my daily jolt. I asked about the amount of espresso in a latte. The medium has one shot and the large has two shots. For the price, I find that to be not a lot of coffee at all. I was just grabbing a coffee to go, but they have savory and sweet crêpe and brioche options. I would come back in the future and try another drink when I'm not looking for caffeine and also order some food to give it a try. read more
i never had duabi anything til i visited daily cup- the dubai toast and the matchamisu latte had to be some of my favorite eats here omg. the parking lot is terribly small though, there was none when i got there. the service was okay, not the quickest but presentation made up for it along with the quality. a cute spot with ample seating and overall worth coming again! read more

Honestly when we showed up the lady in the pink jacket was really rude and since me and my friends were the only ones there she told us it would take 2-5 mins for our order but instead it took 30 mins before she even started making our food. And she only started once we asked her about our food and I paid for a crepe with sugar,caramel, berries, and strawberries which I was charged extra for everything added but when I got to the car I checked and my crepe only had caramel sauce on it and nothing else. The food was really cold like it had been sitting there or wasn't fully cooked. Then when she gave it to me she threw it at me with the silverware and then went to the back. On top of that my friend didn't even get the food she paid $40 in total for and she kept lying about the time and then offered a crepe that was $8 instead of the French toast she paid $20 for and we didn't even get the crepe. And my other friend said the matcha tasted weird like the milk was expired. And by time we left all our food was wrong besides one thing and the lady in the pink jacket on February 25 had horrible customer service. I found this coffee shop on yelp as I was headed home. It's such a cute spot. The food, service and ambiance were great! I highly recommend the ALL DAY BREAKFAST TOASTIE! The only suggestion I would make is to lower the music just a bit. The cashier & I were unable to hear each other while placing my order. Otherwise: I will definitely come back. read more
