When I think of BonChon, the first thing that enter my heads is Korean style fried chicken. the…read moresmall wings and drum-lets combo box. But in the Philippine BonChon is Fish & Chips or calamari with plain white rice, the the chicken is full size pieces in order to compete with Jollibee and McDonald's. The Fish & Chips will make your mouth water! It really is such a delicious meal for a pretty small amount of pesos. Their fish is tasty, crispy and best of all, spicy! Don't get me wrong, their fried chicken is also pretty good, and comes in the same flavors you used too, Soy Garlic, Spicy, Honey Citrus, or Crunchy Garlic, all which taste great. In the States, two pieces of fried chicken just isn't enough because because of size but here it is. You can order the other dishes of BonChon, their Chapchae, Fish Tacos I hear it is really good, Chicken Sandwich, Bulgogi Noodle Soup, and their sweet potato fries.

It was pretty darn good. Not the best I've had, but better than I thought it would be. Chicken for the rest of the family It was Korean Style Bbq Chicken, and it tasted delicious. If you find yourself at Mactan International Airport in Cebu, Philippines then seek them out. Good food at a fair price at an airport. Bon Appetit!

Finally! I got to try this place. It just opened recently around July of this year but I never had…read morethe chance to try it out; and now that I finally had the chance...it didn't disappoint! The place and ambience was modern and blended in with the other restaurants in the area. There weren't too many banchan offerings though but that wasn't a problem. The important thing is that as long as they have good kimchi, I'm good with that. The food was astounding! They're as authentic as you can get. One notable dish was their Beef Galbi Jjim. Out of all the Korean restaurants I've been to here in Cebu, this is the only one that has legit Beef Galbi Jjim. The other dishes I tried are worth mentioning as well; the pork from the Osam Bulgogi and Jeauk Bokkem was tasty, tender, and of good quality while the Duenjang Jjigae (soup) was flavorful and boiling hot (just what I like and what it should be). The Mandu (dumplings) was juicy and the ratio of meat was balanced well with the wrapper. The Jajangmyun was as expected. It wasn't the best I had but still satisfactory. To finish it all off, they gladly offered a complimentary Korean fish shaped ice cream sandwich called Samanco. Overall, I'd definitely come back again and also try their other dishes.
