I had the a great selection of chicken and steak dish that was to die for! It was a generous portion, served piping hot, fresh with top quality! This place is not what I envisioned a Korean BBQ place to be. First of all, we did not grill our meat. Our server cooked the streak and pork at the table next to us and served it to us all sliced up in a plate. The banchan selection was not a lot, but they offered free refill. The came the beef Bulgogi which I thought we would be cooking, but it came already cooked in a bowl, and the surprising part is, it was served with rice noodles. Isn't bulogi supposed to be just beef and no fillers? The food was delicious but I think I'll explore other Korean Restaurants and hopefully I'll find what I am looking for.before I'll come back here. Sometimes it's not just about the taste, ambiance, cleanliness and service. It's really all about the experience.

They say they are open until 11pm but around 9:00ish they stopped replacing any of the food trays. Some waiter turned off our grill even though we were still getting food and did not even bother to bus our dishes. And to top it off they turned off the 2 ACs near us. We had to ask them to turn everything back on. I guess they REALLY want you out the door asap. We were not able to talk to a manager or supervisor because they were at a different site that day, which begs the question why not have a manager PER restaurant. but whatever. Well, job done, I'm never coming back here and recommending all my friends to avoid this buffet.

The place and ambience was modern and blended in with the other restaurants in the area. There weren't too many banchan offerings though but that wasn't a problem. The important thing is that as long as they have good kimchi, I'm good with that. The food was astounding! They're as authentic as you can get. One notable dish was their Beef Galbi Jjim. Out of all the Korean restaurants I've been to here in Cebu, this is the only one that has legit Beef Galbi Jjim. The other dishes I tried are worth mentioning as well; the pork from the Osam Bulgogi and Jeauk Bokkem was tasty, tender, and of good quality while the Duenjang Jjigae (soup) was flavorful and boiling hot (just what I like and what it should be). The Mandu (dumplings) was juicy and the ratio of meat was balanced well with the wrapper. The Jajangmyun was as expected. It wasn't the best I had but still satisfactory. To finish it all off, they gladly offered a complimentary Korean fish shaped ice cream sandwich called Samanco. Overall, I'd definitely come back again and also try their other dishes.

I can eat the lechon fat with rice as is by itself all day. The service here is phenomenal. Everything came on fairly quick, and the servers were so nice and thoughtful. Khim was our server and he was great. He recommended great food and even asked if we wanted a photo. The vibe of this place is nice. Everyone's happy and you can't help but have an appetite. Best Native Chicken! [CEBU CITY Philippines]…read more When it comes to food, Cebu has a lot to offer. From savory lechon (roast pork) to sweet desserts Cebu is a foodie's paradise. But we have been eating some form of lechon since we arrived on New Year's Day so I was getting tired of it LoL! just a little. I ordered grilled chicken instead. Conching's is famous for one thing: their charcoal-grilled native chicken. What is a native chicken? They are more commonly raised in rural areas, cage-free. They are smaller in size than the regular chicken, it's because of their organic diet. Both its size and diet make these native chicken unique and more natural in taste. We ordered two servings and it didn't disappoint. So delicious, salted just right and the skin is crunchy. Setting looks rundown, nothing fancy with long tables and plastic chairs and a grill out front. Very laid back. Live music entertained the diners... young adults with music instruments. I was amused. Filipinos love to sing. LoL!Friendly service. I just didn't like the flies... we had to keep swatting them so they don't go on our food. Review #3349

Not sure what authentic should feel like but this restaurant felt authentic considering I was the only foreigner there... One of the waiters is an interesting one - done up in a lot of make up and apparently very flirtatious and seems like he's a staple of the restaurant per their Facebook page... Anyway the native chicken cooked on these little grills but the chicken themselves are tiny - you probably need about one chicken a person. They have a lot of other grilled and friend foods including various fish - milkfish was the only one I recognized. We also tried the ceviche (local name I don't remember) but extremely good!! You should also try the puso which are the individually packaged rice which are local to cebu.... Very cool place and recommended if visiting,

As we waited for them to grill our food, we picked a table and the waitress came over and took our order for rice and beverages. About 10-15 minutes later we have our rice and bbq meats! The meats were tender and fell off the bone, they were perfectly cooked! The bbq sauces were delicious , it had a nice sweet Smokey taste. We literally spent about $15 for everything. This place is a must try if you're around.
