They don't make em like Matt anymore. He's a brilliant, no nonsense powerhouse! I've called for his services numerous times over the years and I've have always been completely impressed with his ability to see what's wrong and fix it with ease. He makes difficult jobs look easy but it's all in his intelligence and extensive experience. Oh! And Matt is stronger than an ox, too. He's 100% trustworthy and we are really lucky to have in Pedro! read more

The plumber wanted to charge us $3600.00 to replace a leaking shower fixture. He claimed the water pressure regulator and possibly the valve associated with that needed to be replaced. He also told us that an extra tank needed to be added to our relatively new water heater. And he would not replace our shower fixture until he "corrected" the above alleged problems. When he tried to remove the cartridge of the fixture, or the valve stem, he claimed the stem was stuck to the valve body. Therefore, he would have to cut a bigger hole in our shower wall to reach the valve body. My husband and I politely dismissed him. He then replaced our shower fixture UPSIDE DOWN! We later asked our maintenance man about the pressure regulator. He said the water pressure was fine. There was nothing wrong with the regulator. We ended up using Daddario Plumbing-Matt Daddario- who not only replaced the shower fixture but also snaked our badly clogged kitchen sink for $189.00. Matt had all the tools and parts on his truck and worked confidently, efficiently, and quickly. So, who would you choose? read more

Daddario Plumbing is hands down the most honest plumber I have worked with, competent and very reasonably priced. For a very simple job I was quoted by another plumber, they wanted 4 times the price. Daddario is a local plumber operating out of his own home who offers reliable, fair and quick service to San Pedro. While most of what he seems to do is small jobs (cleaning out drains, fixing leaks, etc), he is also quite competent in general plumbing work. What sets Daddario off from other plumbers is that he focuses his attention on the job rather than the bill. And charges according to his time and the complexity of the problem, not from a set of fixed "minimum" rates. He is the only plumber I know (other than my brother-in-law) who you feel like hugging after the job is done and paid for, even if he is covered with -- well -- muck. And, frankly, I would rather use him than my brother-in-law. read more

I needed to replace the water valves and gas valve in my laundry room in order to install a new washer and dryer. Matt came out the very next day. He is personable and efficient. His price was very reasonable and he made the experience painless and less stressful. Thank you Matt. read more

I worked with Matt and Mark last February to replace my mother-in-law's water heater and they replaced the inbound regulator and shut off valves in front of the house along with the kitchen faucet as well. They did a great job. Last Sunday, we noticed water on the ceiling in numerous places which indicated a leaking shower valve in an upstairs bathroom. I called him and left a message hoping he had a slot for Monday to fix it. He called back in about an hour and after I described the situation, knew what to do and said he would be at our house Monday Morning @ 7:00am. Told him I might be in my jammies but that is the price to pay for being so early!! Anyway, he stopped at Home Depot to pick up the part before coming over and in 15 minutes had it fixed and provided the name of a good drywall guy to fix the ceiling. Mentioned that my checks are at my office so how do we pay and he gave the bill and said mail it when you can!! Would give 10 stars if available. read more

Professional, reliable and trustworthy. I first used Daddario when the "smell good guys" wanted $3000 to put a clean-out in to clear a clogged kitchen drain. Matt cleared it for $160. No up sale. I've used him ever since. He's busy for a reason. Simply put the best plumber I've ever used in 20 plus years of home ownership. read more

I've used Matt Daddario for at least ten years; he does fantastic work, he's always calm in a crisis, and his prices are completely reasonable. Once, years ago, I turned on the shower at 5:30 in the morning only to have the knob slip around when I tried to turn it off. I called Matt's emergency number and he arrived within 15 minutes to save my bathroom and my day. I was so grateful. He should wear a cape he's saved me so many times. read more

I agree with the guy before me. Best plumber around. Helpful, efficient, and friendly! Fixed our huge plumbing crisis...

I have used Daddario Plumbing Co numerous times and Matt (owner) is always prompt, honest, courteous and knows what he is doing. They can do any job. If you need plumbing work and want to use a guy that will give it to you straight call Matt. read more

In my last review I stated that when I needed a plumber again, I would call this company again. Well, it did not take long! This time I had sewage coming up into the downstairs sinks when I flushed - apparently I had a main line blockage. I called and Matt and Mark came over very quickly. They used a standard size snake to try to clear the line. When that did not work, they got their larger, longer snake and that did the trick. Then they took the time to disassemble and reassemble all the drain traps and snake those pipes to make ensure that all of the waste that had been there was cleared out. It has been several weeks now and I have not had any more drainage problems. read more

Because of the good ratings, I took a chance and got a quote to have him come and change my faucet. He arrived ON TIME which is a really big thing to me. He and his nephew Nino were very polite, they were upfront with the price, and worked fast. He gave me a quote for another job while he was here...so I'm looking forward to seeing how future jobs go. But as a rating for the job he did, he was wonderful and I highly recommend to anyone in San Pedro looking for a polite, talented, and reasonably priced plumber. read more

Our neighbor recommended Daddario Plumbing to us. We had a variety of work that needed to be performed ... leaky drain, new shower valves, drain plunger not working, new sink faucet to be installed and exterior hose bib installation. The work was performed quickly and professionally by Matt Daddario. We liked that the person doing the plumbing work is the same person who owns the plumbing company.
