I have been taking my daughters to Dr. Kaur since they were newborns. They are now 6 and 2 years old, and I truly trust her judgment. She has always been spot-on with her diagnoses and treatments. Many times I've simply explained my child's symptoms, and she immediately knows what might be going on. After testing and evaluation, she has consistently been right. Dr. Kaur is very experienced, patient, and kind with my girls. She takes her time during consultations and always makes sure our concerns are addressed. My children have been patients with Dr Kaur for many years. Dr Kaur was at another practice prior to opening her own practice, that was much closer to home. We immediately went with Dr Kaur to her new office. The staff is amazing, friendly, professional. Dr Kaur is an amazing pediatrician. She knows your children so well, as if they are her children. Sorry in advance for the long review but I'm so grateful for the people who take the time to give a quality review. Finding a new doctor is difficult. This is my way of paying if forward. Skip to my highlight section if you are a skimmer. I just moved here from Chicago. I had a great pediatrician for my kids there, so of course I wanted a great one here too. I found this office through my insurance. I usually rely on Yelp and Google reviews to make service selection decisions. This office only had 3 reviews on Yelp and 11 on Google. Overall the comments were good, so I decided to see for myself. I've been to the office twice so far. Both times I had an exceptional experience. The front desk receptionist is very pleasant in person and over the phone. She has that southern charm for sure. The nurses I've interacted with are great too. I visited the first time for my sons 1 year checkup and for a speech and occupational therapy referral for my other almost 3 year old son. The second time I visited was a same day urgent care appointment. My 1 year old had bumps all over him, which turned out to be fire ant bites (we don't have those little suckers in Chicago). I called the office for that visit and they let me come in 15 min later. Dr. Kaur was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G both times. My 3 year old is a handful to say the least. Any Mom that's ever been embarrassed by their kid knows what I'm talking about. He is that kid! Dr. Kaur interacted great with him. He took so well to her, which is extremely hard for him to do. This place is an absolute joke. The Receptionist is ghetto and rude. The physicians are a joke and don't know what they are doing.

If you want to go to a place where the front desk personnel gossip about the patient's parents in front of you. Then this is the place to be. They measured my son wrong. They said he was 5'2 when in reality he's 5'5. How do you mismeasure that? The staff and doctor seem lazy. read more

I really wanted to like this place. We started coming here after moving back home to GA last year and had both of our kids' medical info transferred to this practice. She saw my youngest for a well child check up last year and everything went OK. Today (5/10), I get a call saying they are canceling my eldest's appt for tomorrow (5/11) because it's only a check up and they are short staffed, have too many sick patients, and don't want to have to see so many patients. So they are prioritizing sick patients and don't want to work too much. Essentially saying our appt is not important even though my son will be needing his shots at this visit. The next time they are willing to see him is June 6. We made this appt a month ahead of time... so for them to cancel on me the day right before and make me wait another month is not acceptable. They were not willing to work with us at all saying flat out nobody will see my child. Never in my life have I seen a Dr.'s office pick and choose who to see... especially a pediatrician. Needless to say we will have to look elsewhere for a pediatrician with better ethics. read more

Dr. Kaur is not only unprofessional but ignorant as well. The front office staff is very kind and professional. Unfortunately, the same can not be said for the dr. My daughter is an athlete...she works out 5 days a week and is nothing but muscle. Dr. Kaur, without even looking at her, looks at her weight and height and tells my child that she needs to watch her weight. She continues to tell her she shouldn't gain another pound. My daughter at the time was 16 yrs old, 5'3 and 135 lbs of muscle. When I questioned the dr, she looked up and slightly corrected herself. This woman is ignorant. The office does not take the insurance I currently have. That's fine...I paid out of pocket and in full. They administered my daughters vaccines at her yearly well visit and the dr. stated my daughter would need to come back the following month for the second dosage. We scheduled the appointment and the day before we were to go back in for the second dosage, Dr. Kaur's office contacted me and stated they wouldn't, not couldn't, but wouldn't administer the second dosage because they don't take my insurance. I informed them, they were aware of this prior to administering the first dosage and I had already paid them in full. Why did they bother to administer the first dosage if they were not intending to finish what they had started? The office staff informed me the dr. would not administer the second dosage. I have noticed that regardless of what I would take my daughter in for, regardless if it was a cold, shot, well visit, etc., they would always have additional charges on top of the co-pay. Something is not right about this office. My daughter is now 17 and we were in the process of changing her primary care doctor. I was just allowing this office to finish what it had started. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. I feel for the office staff because they are only doing their jobs. As stated before, the office staff is very kind. read more

Dr. Kaur has been seeing my baby for almost a year. This year was tough for my baby, but Dr. Kaur never missed a beat! She was on top of my baby's diagnoses and plan of care. She followed my baby's care while in the hospital and knew right where to pick up once we were discharged. She was there for me as a mother when I needed to hear my baby would be ok. My daughter is a new patient and we don't have insurance. I took her in on the 13th and the office visit was $85 which is the norm for office visits with no insurance. The doctor told me if the problem she was having isn't better within a week or two to come back. I called and made an appointment this morning and they have my daughters records on file and no we don't have insurance. I get to the office and to my surprise they went up $15 in that short of time without telling my over the phone. I had to go check my daughter out of school took her up there to be seen without knowing the price increase. She isn't sick and the last at the front desk said sick visits went up and I said she isn't sick and she is telling me it's a sick visit, but when I took her in the last time it wasn't told it was a sick visit. I can't afford to pay an additional $15. It's all about money now days, I guess, instead of actually thinking of the child's needs more importantly. Now back to the drawing board to find a female doctor that we feel comfortable seeing.
