The front desk staff was responsive and helpful, particularly when it came to receiving medical records and scheduling appointments. From my very first visit, I had a fantastic experience: short wait times, a friendly and efficient check‑in, and a genuinely welcoming environment. Parking was great and easy! Dr. Moore was thorough, explanatory, and inquisitive about my medical history. He took the time to make sure I felt comfortable and informed, which immediately put me at ease. I originally booked my appointment approximately two weeks in advance. However, when I later checked the system, I noticed that my appointment had been moved one week later without my knowledge or consent. I did not call your office to request any change, nor did I receive any confirmation email or phone call regarding this rescheduling. When I contacted your office to ask about this issue, I was told that the change was made at the patient's request, which is incorrect. I clearly stated that I did not request any change and asked how my appointment could be moved without my authorization or notification. Despite this, I was informed that nothing could be done, even though the mistake was not mine. I then politely requested that the staff check with the doctor to see if I could come at any time on my original appointment date, as I am flexible. I was told that the staff member would check with the doctor and call me back. Unfortunately, I never received a call. When I followed up later the same day, I was told that the staff member was still "in a meeting with the provider." When I called again several hours later, I was told to hold, and then informed that she "did not mean to call" me at all. This response was extremely dismissive and disrespectful. As of now, I am still waiting for a callback. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic courtesy from the front desk staff has been very disappointing. This situation reflects very poorly on your office's patient service standards. I hope this matter can be reviewed seriously and corrected as soon as possible. I would appreciate confirmation of my appointment status and an explanation of how this situation occurred. read more

I am shocked to have to leave this review of Dr. Moore, who expertly delivered my first two babies. Unfortunately, he allows unprofessional, disorganized, and disrespectful practices among his staff. After multiple upsetting missteps with Haven (Dr. Moore's practice) over the last week, my husband and I met with Leah, a Nurse Practitioner in Dr. Moore's office, and learned that I miscarried one of our twins today. Leah asked us to discuss our concerns with the office staff during this appointment, which we did, along with expressing how much we have appreciate the medical providers. A few hours later my husband received an extremely hostile call from Deneen (Dr. Moore's wife, apparently, who works in the office), which started with "I heard you guys were complaining again." She said that clearly we don't trust "them" and "the relationship just isn't going to work out." She said that if we ever come back, we have to address our "complaints" to her, because the "service providers don't want to hear it and don't appreciate it." I can't say enough good things about Dr. Moore, his partner Dr Jewel and all of Haven OB. After 10+ years I left a huge Atlanta OB practice when I was 17 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child. I was warmly welcomed by Dr Moore and his staff. I love that the practice is small and that you see the same nurse with each doctor. They knew my history and didn't gasp every time they took my blood pressure. Scheduling is always so easy. Their online portal is so convenient too. Dr Moore is simply the best. I have a bicorneat uterus, endometriosis and some other defects of my uterus. If it weren't for Dr Moore my children and I wouldn't be alive today. Thankfully, I live closer now, but for 16 years I drove an hour to see him. I would never see anyone else but him, Leah, or a Dr he recommends. Dr. Moore is a caring Dr. with a great bedside manner. After my first child was born, about 14 years ago he started his own practice. The internet wasn't as easy to use for research and I couldn't find him. I tried 2 other doctors and didn't have great experiences. As a matter of fact, during the time That I didn't know where he was located, I had a miscarriage. There were a couple of other doctors that I went too and the other doctors acted as if it was no big deal. I left those offices and my husband went on a crusade to find Dr Moore. Once we found him I set up my next appointment with Dr Moore. When he found out that I'd had a miscarriage he was so empathetic and was visibly saddened by the news. Which brings me to the one review that said he doesn't have good bedside manner. That's ridiculous! I say he's better off without patients that are going to say that. I read someone say that maybe he's better with pregnant people. I call BS on that too. I've seen Dr Moore before and after having children. There is absolutely no difference in the way he acts. The staff is very professional, friendly, kind and joyful. This includes the folks in the lab and the financial team. I read where someone said the folks at the front desk weren't friendly. Sometimes there is a lady at the front desk who can have a less than friendly demeanor. But, who cares, she has her good days and bad days too. I've made her laugh and smile. She's nice just not an extrovert. If your overly sensitive and take things personally I could find where you might feel the behavior is directed toward you. Anyway, see Dr Moore and his staff if you want exceptional treatment. Go see someone else if you want mediocre or sub par treatment. My husband and I will go to bat for Dr Moore any day! For example, I'm a walking dead TV show fan so if you're not, please forgive the following reference. I have been a patient of Dr. Moore's for almost 13 years now. I can't begin to describe how much I have gone through over those years and how I am blessed to have had him as my doctor through it all. Dr. Moore is attentive, genuine, sincere, thoughtful, and a very caring doctor. He never meets a stranger and goes above and beyond to provide his patience with individual care. I often wonder how he has any room for himself and his family. When my daughter turned 14 I immediately took her to Dr. Moore as well and he has now been her doctor for over 5 years. I am thrilled I found this place! My entire pregnancy I was handled professionally and with the upmost care. I thoroughly enjoyed all my visits. They catered to my needs as I required special arrangements when taking my blood (I get sick every time). As the due date neared a c section became evident. My baby was breech and even though I tried methods provided by the team my little one would not budge. I was scared at the thought of having a c section but Dr Jewell took incredible care of me and making sure my requests were his upmost priority in the delivery room and all questions were addressed leading up to it. I was scared to undergo the procedure but comforted knowing I was in the best hands. In post partum the Drs either Moore or Jewell came by each day. They took their time with me and made sure I was attended to properly. Their clinic will not do a VBAC and I'm still nervous to undergo another c section procedure but am looking forward to it as I know I'm in the best possible hands. Do yourself a favor and try this place out. I'm writing this review as I'm holding my 2.5 month old in my arms while rocking him to sleep. So my wife has been seeing Dr Moore for three years now and I can honestly say he is one of the best doctors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, regardless of specialty. We had quite the problematic journey to a successful pregnancy, but Dr Moore helped us through a very tough path. Faced with several miscarriages, he remained professional, honest and open about our options. Never once did he try to force us in a direction or reject options that we may have had. Instead, when we brought up ideas that may have been outside the norm, Dr Moore researched them on his own time, and gave us his honest and professional opinion. He helped us discover the problem, a rare blood clotting disorder, and continued to see us through the high risk pregnancy. He even called my wife on Memorial Day to give us results that just came in. He performs ultrasounds in his office himself, which after hearing "I'm sorry, there is no heartbeat" several times, is extremely comforting. In most doctors offices, a tech performs the ultrasound and then you have to wait to have the doctor come in and tell you if everything is ok. After years of difficulty, we finally had a viable pregnancy, and Dr Moore was (I feel) a main reason for it. Through the entire thing, he showed honest concern for my wife's and baby's well being. He was as vested in our success as we were. In the end, he went out of his way to make sure my wife could have the type of delivery she wanted. We are so happy he was able to deliver our beautiful healthy daughter. I owe this guy a lot and honestly, you won't find a better person out there. If that doesn't tell the whole story, a couple of other notes for families looking for the right practice: -they have a beautiful new office -easy and free parking. I am 27 years of age with endometriosis and pelvic cystic syndrome after complete dissatisfaction my previous female ob-gyn and search upon Dr Moore base off an INN provider with UHC insurance and boyyyyyy I must say I PROMISE you will not REGRET being patient of his. When I moved to Atlanta from Alabama, I put off finding an OBGYN for two years. TWO YEARS. Realizing that I was long overdue for a check, I started searching Yelp and Kudzu for reviews. I'm not going to lie-- not having to pay for parking was a huge factor in my search. I scheduled an appointment and got on the schedule within a couple of weeks of my call, if I remember correctly. As a first time patient, I was shown in to Dr. Moore's office first for a personal introduction and a discussion of my history, health goals, etc. before being brought to a patient room for actual exam. This was a HUGE plus for me. That fact that he took time to sit and talk with me in a relaxed environment (and fully clothed) meant alot. It also communicated to me that he wasn't trying to rush me in and out in order to get to the next patient. It was during this conversation that we discussed which medications I was on. When I mentioned Xanax, he conveyed a certain discomfort with medications that can be habit forming. I had no idea that Xanax was addictive (my then-primary physician has failed to mention this)! I love that he was concerned with my health to the point of expressing his opinion on the subject. For the actual exam, his nurse came in as well, and they both carried on conversation with me and each other which drew my attention away from, well, the discomfort that is the OBGYN exam :) Afterwards, he stayed for any questions that I had, again, without me feeling rushed. I expressed my discontent with my current primary doctor, and he recommended Dr. Phillip Rogers to me (a mere 2 minutes away from Dr. Moore's office and no parking fees :D). She spent time explaining and teaching me things that were pertinent to my health. Incredibly group here! I've been going to them for over 4 years now and they've helped me through two pregnancies. Our first pregnancy resulted in a miscarriage in which Dr. Moore delivered the news with such kindness and compassion, allowing us to ask as many questions as needed. Our second pregnancy was pretty much textbook perfect, but after our miscarriage, in the beginning I often felt on edge. Leah and Dr Moore were very understanding and helpful throughout. Dr. Jewell came into the group during the end of this pregnancy so I didn't see him as much, but when I did, he also demonstrated an awesome bedside manner and seemed very knowledgable. My daughter decided to make her debut during the Holidays, so I had the on call doctor deliver, which was part of Arbor, but they also handled things nicely. Dr Moore visited us in the hospital though and helped answer questions about our daughters jaundice issues. I was pretty much a wreck when he came in (ugly crying for sure) but he acted like his normal caring self: :) I typically go to Leah now for my yearly and she has got to be one of the nicest people I have ever met! She goes above and beyond to answer your questions and even researches further to make sure she treated the best she could. Ultimately, I highly recommend this office. It makes it much easier to enjoy your pregnancy when you have such outstanding doctors! read more

I would give Dr. Moore 10 stars if I could! When my husband and I decided it was time to try to have a baby, I went in search of a female nurse midwife, but I saw some great reviews for Dr. Moore so I went to see him for my annual exam and never looked back. He spent lots of time answering questions--as a type-A RN I had many and he never made me feel rushed. He was open to my ideas for a birth plan while also sharing his opinions. He also does his own ultrasounds including 4D which I think is great because he is very personal and it allowed my husband and I to get to know him better. I really liked the feel of the smaller office--I came to find out that Dr. Boulton and the NP are both also excellent. I never waited for more than 15 minutes for my appointment. Near the end of my pregnancy I was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia and I felt he took a conservative approach putting me on bed rest and monitoring instead of rushing into an induction, but did ultimately decide to induce when my blood pressure did become concerning. I had a challenging labor and eventual c-section (birth plans sometimes get tossed out:)) and I was so pleased that Dr. Moore always made me feel like I had a voice in the decision-making. He made me feel very reassured while going in for the c-section joking that "he did these in his sleep in medical school". If all that wasn't enough I got a beautiful baby boy at the end! It was my first pregnancy, so naturally I had so many questions and concerns. They made me feel so comfortable and their level of availability is unreal. I have actually been really looking forward to writing this review! I wanted to write it earlier but decided to wait until I actually gave birth, so I could write about the whole experience. My husband and friends have been teasing that I have a crush on Dr. Moore because of how effusively I have been gushing about him. (For the record: I love my husband very much :) ) I started seeing Dr. Moore on a good friend's strong recommendation when I learned I was pregnant. I was planning on seeing other OB's before I settled on one, but after I saw Dr. Moore first, I didn't think shopping around was necessary. The office staff is kind and welcoming. They communicate amongst each other, so everyone is on the same page and you don't have to repeat yourself or what the doc said. Free parking and little to no wait times are also much appreciated perks! Dr. Moore does the ultrasounds himself, which is awesome (and rare) because you don't have to wait on an ultrasound tech who legally can't tell you anything. Dr. Moore is gentle and takes the time to listen. Leah, the NP, and Dr. Jewell are also excellent, both as practitioners and as listeners. I got sick once while pregnant and called outside of office hours. Dr. Moore immediately called us back, which was especially great for my worrying hubby. Dr. Moore delivered my baby with professionalism and care. My family also really liked his bedside manner. I happened to look at Dr. Moore's face while I was pushing during delivery and he was beaming! This is a man who really loves what he does. read more

Typical commercial medicine. If you go to this office, make sure they sign a contract with you (not just tell you!) up front with the exact amount that you will pay in the end! Otherwise they will charge you as much as they want. Believe it or not, if you don't have insurance, you can get their full service for $2,500, but if you have insurance, you will pay more! We owe them now $2,600, having a decent Cigna insurance! Cigna paid all their bills during these 9 months while my wife was pregnant! But still we need to pay them $2,600 more. Here is why: When we came there first time (Feb 2015), we tried to find out what the exact charges will be, but no one wanted to explain the financial side to us properly. Finally doctor Moore told us that our total out-of-pocket charges (after the insurance), including payment to hospital, will be 2-3 thousands. That's OK, we said. But now, after our baby was born (Nov 2015), the reality is: We owe out-of-pocket $2,400 to Northside hospital for delivery (normal birth, no complications) and $2,600 to Dr. Moore. That is after the insurance! Cigna did cover like 90% of hospital charges and like 95% of Dr. Moore's charges. The very last bill Dr. Moore sent to Cigna for actual delivery in the hospital, was for $4,800! Of course Cigna didn't cover this rubbish completely, only covered $2,200 out of it. Hence we owe $2,600 to Dr. Moore and his business. On the medical side, the doctors and nurses are OK and the service is pretty nice. But the other personnel there is far from being professional. read more

I love this place. I been going to NP Leah for years and I love her. She is so attentive and detailed. She tells me exactly what is to expect and what to look out for. I have never had an obgyn so focused on their patient. The financial department also is very kind and will help as much as they can. However, the front desk is another story. It is as if they have permanent frowns tattooed on their faces. The only time you would find a smile across their face is if you are a white female who is pregnant. If you are not that, they will not be kind to you. I can't tell if they, we'll one of them in particular, find my skin color offensive or the fact that I decided to not have children at this time. Yes, this fact has made me think twice about returning however, one person shouldn't be the representation of the rest. I am writing this in my 8th month of pregnancy and Dr. Brad Moore has been an excellent doctor thus far. He has extended a patient hearing to all my questions and has responded promptly to them. He has even turned around on emails within a day or two (sometimes on the same day!) with prompt answers. My husband and I are from India but we've felt at home because of him. I cannot say enough good things about this practice! I LOVE the small feel - they are great about remembering you, referring to previous appointments, and you are not just a number to them! Dr. Moore, Dr. Jewell, and NP Leah are all as nice, patient, and helpful as can be! I have NEVER felt rushed during an appointment and have never felt like any question I've had was silly. Especially if you are pregnant and looking for an OB that you are comfortable with to deliver your baby - these are the people! I love this doctor and Haven ObGyn!!!! Dr. Moore has been wonderful from the very first day my husband and I came in for a consult. We had been trying to get pregnant for the past 5 years and had been unable to do so. Dr. Moore was very kind, understanding, and helpful and referred us to ACRM where we proceeded to do an IVF cycle and became pregnant with twins. We were so excited to share our news with him and begin our prenatal care. Dr. Moore was always very patient and willing to answer any questions we had and gave detailed explanations of any testing and treatment that needed to be done. He is very friendly and easy to talk to. We also received lots of beautiful 3d ultrasound pictures of the twins! 5 years later we got pregnant again and even though we had moved further away and it was now a 30-45 minute drive to the office we came back to Haven OBGyn because of Dr. Moore. We trust him and we knew we would receive excellent patient care. He delivered my son, Liam a little over a month ago and it was truly a wonderful experience. My c-section delivery was pretty amazing!! He talked and explained everything he was doing and I was really able to relax and enjoy the birth of my 2nd son! My husband and I were both really impressed with how smoothly the surgery went and how beautiful my incision scar looks -- It has healed really well and is barely noticeable six weeks later! We are more than satisfied with the care we have received from Dr. Moore and the staff at Haven OBGyn! We love them and highly recommend the practice to anyone who is looking for excellent prenatal care and a wonderful delivery! read more

My husband and I recently started trying to conceive (about 2-3 months) so I was looking for a new doctor that could be with me through my pregnancy. I went to his office for my yearly and for a pre-conception type visit combined. I was taken to his office and waited about 30 min for him to even come in. Once we started talking I quickly realized that he is very arrogant and dismissive. There is a difference between being blunt and being completely presumptuous and superficial. Everything I said, he countered with IVF at ACRM (fertility clinic), even though nothing in my prior medical history even hinted that we wouldn't be able to conceive on our own. He was selling them REALLY hard, it almost felt like he worked for them not his own practice. I left there swearing I would never return. I found another doctor who takes his time and does not unnecessarily freak healthy people out with an irrelevant doom and gloom attitude. Turns out we just needed to be patient and keep trying. Our baby girl is now almost 4 months old! Most reviews are from pregnant people so maybe he is better with them but thank god I won't ever return to find out.
