It's a longer "narrower" restaurant that spans the counter where you walk past to build your poke bowl. Neat that they have like a loft seating like area next to the window with pillows. A couple tables and chairs here and there and an interesting small stair area. There were people hanging out and studying when I visited. There's something charming about this place. Reminds me of what SoCal was like before the giga overseas boba franchise take over and everything becoming minimalist concrete, bamboo wood, warm light (if you know you know). I love the little cute faces for the sealed lids. It's nostalgic of a lot of the mom and pop tea places we'd go to after high school. The Tiger's Blood Boba milk tea was an interesting mix of pineapple and rose sencha milk tea and the other was a honey flavored Hokkaido milk tea. You can do lots of customization and added toppings, but if you order online you can't really adjust the sugar unfortunately and the drinks do run a bit sweeter than what I normally would have liked. You can either build your own poke bowls or pick from the signature pre-builds. It's a heaping helping of a meal and it's definitely more than enough for a hungry adult. You can easily share a medium bowl as well. It is a bit pricier than what I'm used to for poke bowls, but then again California isn't as land locked as Colorado. I think an issue I had was how mushy the rice was, but other than that the other ingredients were decently fresh. Overall not bad, probably pretty good for this area, but not my favorite from my Denver visit.

I also got the Hong Kong Egg Waffle, which was a great fresh car snack. Felt nostalgic. My order took some time because there seemed to be only one person working (often the case at boba spots on weekdays) but there are plenty of small tables. I didn't go exploring but there's a restroom and upstairs area as well. There's also arcade games if you REALLY get bored of waiting or just love that sort of thing.

And I say that as someone who has been an off-and-on barista since my first Starbucks job in 1999. Sweet without being overwhelming, actually tasted intentional, and didn't just feel like syrup dumped into coffee. The shop itself is very clean, sunny, modern Denver coffee aesthetic with tons of seating if you want to stay awhile. Then, going back recently, there's always that fear that the quality or taste has gone down but it definitely did not! I love traditional Filipino flavors like ube and pandan but I've tried a lot of drinks that either overpower with flavor or lack it, but their flavors are just the right amount. This place was not just a place to get a cup of tea. Here you can purchase loose leaf tea and there is quite a large selection. Around the store, they even had descriptors of the different types of tea which was quite informative. It was very well organized with signage for the different type of tea that section of the wall was housing. They also had other items, tea related, for sale like mugs. Ku Cha was only a 10 minute walk from my hotel, so I hurried to get there before 7 pm when they closed. I was so happy seeing the interior with so many teas to smell, I thought their system was very well organized and labelled! They had a great variety & teas that I never got to try or were interested in. I decided to go with an iced Dong Ding Oolong Milk Tea, asking for it to be sweet. This is a drink I commonly get whenever I see it (favorite is Chi Cha San Chen), so I was really looking forward to trying this since this place is also so highly rated. Now, I know oolong does not produce a pigmented color as traditional black tea, and so when it is made into a milk tea, it's not going to have a lot of color. But I couldn't help but be surprised when I received this after only 2 minutes. Pale, small bits of melted iced ice, and the saddest looking drink I've ever seen. The taste matched the look: barely any tea flavor, and more like waterly oolong scented milk. I was super disappointed, and geniunely could not drink it after a few sips. Sad, you could probably buy the leaves to steep your own tea the proper way, but avoid getting a non-black milk onsite.
