After many promised installation dates and broken promises, we had had enough and cancelled our contract in May 2023. They will not refund our deposit of over $6,000. Fact is, they quit communicating with us months prior to the cancellation. We finally got a judgment against them for the amount of our deposit. Collecting our money is unlikely because the company is in trouble. But I will continue to do everything I can to see that no one else gets cheated out of their hard-earned money like we did. They also replaced some of my vinyl siding and metal trim, it was very hard to find someone who was proficient and willing to do so but Aaron pulled through. He communicates well, shows up on time, goes over every piece of work they've done with you to make sure you're happy with everything; if you aren't he will make sure you are. I also asked him to let me know if he saw any other things that might need work, he saw a few things, explained what was going on and what the options would be. He did not try to up-sell me whatsoever or try and convince me to do them with any type of pressure. After getting quotes from 4 people, he wasn't the highest, he also wasn't the cheapest (a good thing IMO) but he was one of the few insured companies, knew what he was talking about, and got the job done on time. I'll definitely be having him out to install some new doors come springtime.

I received a reply telling me that an appointment had been made...wow, great, right? But this was confusing, because the email stated, "CALL ME BACK" "PROPOSED TIME" and it gave the date of Tues, May 22 at 1:00pm. Maybe the appointment was just a call back. Well, what else could I do but wait. One other thing that their email said was this, "ONCE HIGHLAND HOME IMPROVEMENT CO. ACCEPTS THE APPOINTMENT YOU WILL GET AN EMAIL NOTIFICATION." So whether it was a phone call, or someone actually coming to my home, there would be a notice via email informing of it. WELL, ITS WEDNESDAY, MAY 23, 7:19PM and no call, no email, no nothing!

We're told, "oh I can't sell that, there's a shortage of lumber and we can only sell it with the framing pack."
