Just pitiful. It has been three days since I left this salon and all I can say is it was a disgrace to myself and their abilities... I asked for a full manicure and pedicure with gel. (I work in professional food service and generally do not get my nails done unless utilizing it for protection.) I generally lean toward gel pedicures because they last longer and I rarely get manicures... What happened at DaVi nails in Walmart, Oneonta this past Sunday is despicable... I proceeded to get the gel pedicure which went smoothly, I was visually happy with the results despite the lack of attention to other details like exfoliating and massage. Moving along to manicure, I had asked for a gel color in which the employee told me they no longer had available, I had actually gone on to discover the color myself in which she did my manicure with. The color was a light pastel, which i had anticipated would require several coats to achieve maximum boldness. The employee applied three pitifully sloppy coats to my hands after a beautiful application of a pedicure. The gel pigment was all over my skin and under the cuticle. ........ I was appalled at the final result, my boss asked me to return to the facility to have it removed because of the monstrosity this employee had left on my apendages.... Judge for yourself, BEWARE... do not waste your time or resources at DaVi in Walmart..... more damage than good. If I could give negative reviews I would. This place sucked. I get my nails done a lot and this was by far the worst. I wanted anc with tips coffin shape. First the lady told me I have to have long nails for the shape I wanted which is false because when I get my nails done other places they can do it much shorter. So she cut the tips of my pinky shorter then the other pinky then GLUED A NEW TIP ON TOP OF THE OTHER ONE. The top coat is super streaky. The powder is on my skin. The shape of the nails it self is all wrong. I still have acetone on my skin from removing the old anc. $45 wasted I could have done better. read more

I had just went to get my nails done while my family was off shopping in Walmart. I had a picture on my phone of exactly what I wanted and asked how long it would take and how much it would cost. I was told it would take a hour and it would cost me $40. What I wanted was long silhouette nails with gel and a designed cross. The lady who was doing my nails were very rough with my nails. And while she was shaping my fake nails she just put on me she looked at the picture I wanted which were pointed and she gave me oval nails instead. And when she asked me if I wanted the full design, after she already started, and said yes I did she told me it would cost an extra $5. So I looked at my picture and at the cool cross design and agreed with her. When she did the crosses though. It looked like something I could do with my eyes shut. They weren't even even at all. And the oval shape she was doing on my nails weren't good either. My thumbs for example had a point on the side of the nail. I was not satisfied with the results at all. First, let me say that I had no intention of writing a review, I just don't go to Da-vi Nails anymore, but I overheard (I guess a former customer) state their displeasure with them. Costumer Service and workmanship leave a lot to be desired (my experience) and over the years they have gone from good, to not so good at all. If you buy a gift certificate, better use it within the six month time frame, or the value of the certificate drastically reduces (but they accepted the full amount of money when it was purchased, no discount there) not a good business practice if you want to have customers. ET's. review of 6/14/18 was spot on and it's a shame as you can see the lack of customers while passing by their establishment...Not a pleasant experience, as you're rushed in and out without it being relaxing which you envision getting. Nope, sadly, I go elsewhere, where I get good customer service and relax while I'm getting the service done. Wake up Da-vi Nails! read more
