The poke quality is superb, you can tell it's the freshest fish - the texture and taste is amazing, plus the way they season it is to die for. Found this hidden gem thanks for Yelp! Located inside of Da Crabshack with no signage noted in the main entrance of the restaurant. Came around 1 pm and they had some poke selections left. Offered samples of a few styles of poke. Spicy ahi was 10/10 as the fish was buttery and there wasn't too much sauce. The candy masago lived up to the name with a sweet soy flavor and the spicy ahi had a nice kick to it. I really liked how the sauces were on the lighter side so you can really taste the quality of the fish. The only thing that would've made it better would be more side options and a stronger flavor for the sushi rice. Other than that it was great. Located inside of The Crawfish & Crabshack is this up and coming poke spot. When you enter the restaurant, they are located on the back left side. I saw them all over social media and had to try it out and was not disappointed whatsoever. They have different types of poke every day which you can see on their IG page. You can either get one or two choices. If you don't want a poke bowl and rather order by the pound, you can do that as well. The poke bowls come with rice, one or two choices of poke and a crab salad, and a watercress salad. I opted for a two choice (hawaiian style and spicy ahi) and all watercress salad. The fish was very fresh and the flavors are really yummy. The watercress salad is a winner, especially if you like watercress. It is tossed with tomato and cuttlefish in a shoyu sesame sauce. So so delicious! It is take out only and when ordering, you are surrounded by the noise level of the actual restaurant which is not too loud at all. The fish was really fresh which is awesome but other than that it didn't really have much flavor. I got the Hawaiian style and spicy. The spicy had no spice and the Hawaiian style was just okay. Lucky for you, if you're reading this review- you officially know. When you walk through Da Crab Shack doors, Da Poke Boyz is located in the back left corner - lookout for the poke counter with the big TVs behind them. The poke here is FRESH, and what I love most about it - it isn't over saturated with sauce. Some places will overload with sauce and keep it marinating to mask the quality of the fish- but they don't need to do that here. I got the ginger scallion and spicy ahi- half pound of each came out to $30. It's a bit on the pricier side, but on par for fresh ahi prices nowadays. I came around 2 pm and selections were a bit slim, they were totally out of sides. They recommended coming before 1 pm at the latest for the best selections. read more

This place is hidden inside Da Crab Shak so if you're looking for a sign that says "Da Poke Boyz" you won't find one. You won't find a menu either but you will find just a few selections of poke done really, really well! We saw a bunch of local construction workers leaving so you know they know what's up. It's just poke and rice...one or two choices plus watercress salad and crab salad or you can buy poke by the pound. The poke changes every day according to whatever ingredients they can get fresh. I opted for smoked tako and secret shoyu ahi poke (I could taste the ginger!). Hubby got a bowl with the candy ahi and spicy limu ahi. Yum! It all was good and melted in your mouth. We were so hungry we just sat in the restaurant at one of the open tables. There's no canned or fountain drinks to go but there is a full bar there for Da Crab Shak.
