Found this hidden gem thanks for Yelp! Located inside of Da Crabshack with no signage noted in the main entrance of the restaurant. Came around 1 pm and they had some poke selections left. Offered samples of a few styles of poke. Spicy ahi was 10/10 as the fish was buttery and there wasn't too much sauce. The candy sasago was a sweet flavor with a hint of spice, def something different. Must try hidden gem in Kapolei for good quality fresh poke. The 2 choice was $20 including the watercress & imitation crab salad.

Food: We ordered a 2 choice poke bowl with spicy ahi and candy masago. It's served on a bed of sushi rice with watercress salad and imitation crab. The candy masago lived up to the name with a sweet soy flavor and the spicy ahi had a nice kick to it. I really liked how the sauces were on the lighter side so you can really taste the quality of the fish. The only thing that would've made it better would be more side options and a stronger flavor for the sushi rice. Other than that it was great. Service: The guy was very nice and let us sample multiple choices before we ordered. Price: I've noticed that the price of poke has gone up everywhere lately so expect it to be pricey, but the quality of the fish is very good and fresh. The 2 choice poke bowl came with a decent amount of food so I'd say it's worth it. Ambiance: it was confusing at first since its located inside of a crab restaurant, but it's a grab and go counter type place.

Located inside of The Crawfish & Crabshack is this up and coming poke spot. When you enter the restaurant, they are located on the back left side. I saw them all over social media and had to try it out and was not disappointed whatsoever. They have different types of poke every day which you can see on their IG page. You can either get one or two choices. If you don't want a poke bowl and rather order by the pound, you can do that as well. The poke bowls come with rice, one or two choices of poke and a crab salad, and a watercress salad. I opted for a two choice (hawaiian style and spicy ahi) and all watercress salad. The fish was very fresh and the flavors are really yummy. The watercress salad is a winner, especially if you like watercress. It is tossed with tomato and cuttlefish in a shoyu sesame sauce. So so delicious! It is take out only and when ordering, you are surrounded by the noise level of the actual restaurant which is not too loud at all. The two guys who helped me, whom I'm assuming are the owners were super friendly each time I went. I would most definitely recommend this place for their poke and poke bowls!

Two choice poke bowl and sashimi

Got a two choice poke bowl, garlic bomb and old school sesame. Nice to have a change of pace from all the same poke places with the same flavors. Really nice staff, they offered free samples and their house shoyu, which was killer. Fish was extremely fresh, tasted amazing. You can tell that the owner cares about his business, and if you have the chance to check them out, you should. Inside of da crawfish and crab shack.

Found this place off of instagram and decided to check it out since I live in the area. It's located inside of crab shack. It was about $40 for two poke bowls. The fish was really fresh which is awesome but other than that it didn't really have much flavor. I got the Hawaiian style and spicy. The spicy had no spice and the Hawaiian style was just okay. My husband got the shoyu and one other choice. Can't remember the name but it was sweet. The sides (watercress & crab salad) were included which was nice.

Finally a GOOD poke place on the West side!!! Located inside Da Crawfish & Crab Shack. Service: the guy at the counter was extremely helpful and nice when we were trying to figure out what poke to try. They have a pretty good selection of poke and you can tell that its FRESH. the flavors were really great too!! If you're ever craving some poke while on the West Side, would 100% recommend!!

If you love supporting local then add this business to the top of your list. A true ocean to table operation, Da Poke Boyz don't mess around when it comes to freshness, quality, and taste of the poke they serve. The guys making your poke are the SAME exact guys catching your fish, cutting and cleaning it up, and running the entire operation--24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Hard working, humble, dedicated to their craft, and passionate about serving up 'ono poke for the people, what more could you ask for? Don't judge this business by their size--they're a small operation but definitely a mighty one. Serving up bold flavors, Da Poke Boyz truly know how to make a good poke with flavors any local person can appreciate. You can expect classic pokes like spicy ahi, and shoyu, BUT DON'T SLEEP on their specialty and not your typical supermarket poke flavors. I'm talking taegu poke, crab, and watercress salad! I stopped by on Super Bowl Sunday and the guys were WERKINGGGGG; sooooo busy, but still so friendly, helpful, and sooooo patient. I ended up walking away with a couple pounds of poke because I just simply could not decide what I wanted.... So I got almost everything :P The prices are fair, flavors are 'ono, and the service was friendly. Located inside Da Crabshack--Kapolei, if you're on the West side, I cannot recommend this place enough!

Dapokeboyz is located inside of The Crabshack in Kapolei Shopping Center. They serve the freshest poke in the area, sourced from Laakea Fish Company. They have a variety of poke that is made with sushi grade fish. They also have combo plates where you can choose two types of poke, and it comes with crab salad and watercress salad. I HIGHLY recommend DaPokeBoyz.

Fresh and filling! You do pay for what you get... it is on the pricier end... but for the quality, it's worth it for most... i got two kine... Cold ginger was apparently a must... and that's for certain. Candy Masago was a little sweet. I really enjoyed the sides, crab salad and surprisingly, WATERCRESS SALAD! I was shocked to see that i enjoyed it as much as I did. I'm pretty sure there was fresh cuttlefish too. I will also say that I enjoyed the smoked tako poke more than i expected. I am not much of tako or smoked items, but that changed my mind for sure! They did it right, a bit chewy... but very flavorful! I loved that the pokes weren't drenched in the sauces and so you can really taste the freshness of the poke! Small space since it's inside of Da Crawfish and Crab shack, but service is friendly and quick! If you looking for fresh, flavorful, and closeby poke spot in Kapolei, come on out!!!

To put it into perspective, there was a flash flood warning during a storm this week and I still drove 40 minutes just to pick up takeout from them. That's how worth it this place is to me. The portions here are insanely generous, especially for the price point. You get so much food, and the quality never feels compromised. The fish is consistently fresh, flavorful, and well prepared, which is why I keep coming back year after year. Their service is also incredibly efficient. You can tell this team really knows how to run a tight operation. They stayed open and adapted throughout COVID, and that ability to pivot and keep things running smoothly still shows in how quickly and reliably they handle orders today. If you wanna sit inside, I urge you to come towards open or with the expectation to wait a bit. You sign up on the clipboard outside and wait patiently. The good news is that they turntables extremely quickly. Places like this are rare--great food, great value, and a team that clearly cares about what they're doing. I'll always make the drive for Sushi Bay, and I genuinely hope they stay open forever.

They have so many options and flavors that you really can't go wrong. We asked the guy behind the counter what he recommended and he had just made a fresh batch of their spicy poke which was delicious. We also got the californian poke, but that was just alright in comparison to the spicy poke he made. I think the trick here is to just ask what's the freshest and go with that. While the poke gets a lot of love at Foodland, the low key superstar is their fried chicken. Warm, cold, room temperature, it's hella good. We tried their salt and vinegar wings and their garlic fried chicken, and it was some of the best bites on the entire trip. Definitely don't skip out on this on your next trip to Foodland!
