It's…read moreclose to the city's main draws--the Piazza Ducale (beautiful!), Castello Sforzesco, Torre del Bramante, etc. Anyhoo, we started with Salumi Misti d'Oca--pretty good, not too salty and not too much. We ordered the risotto con asparagi e prosciutto and the tagliatelle con ragú d'oca. The tagliatelle was delicious, but the risotto was clearly the star of the show--it tasted of asparagus and butter but wasn't cloying, cooked just right. Even my toddler finished her plate! Since we were satisfied with the primi, thought we'd try the dessert and ordered a tortino al cioccolato con sorbetto a la pera. The pear sorbet was delicious--not too sweet, and perfectly paired with the lava cake. We finished it off with espresso. Great meal for under €70. I'm glad I chose it

It is a surprising large restaurant and has water colored painting of characatures adorning the walls. They have a very good wine list and quite a selection of half bottles. The server was quite attentive and definitely added to the experience. I started with the Bresaola della Valtellina. Thinly sliced beef in olive oil, lemon, pepper. With the fresh bread a delight. I passed on the pasta and had the veal escallopini with loads of mushrooms. The veal could have been a bit more tender but the dish was still very good. My rating might be a bit a high due to the ambiance and the fact that I love Italian food especially while in Milan. I do think this place is worth a try if you get tired of shopping and looking for a non pretentious place in a very ritzy area to have a good meal.

It is true that this restaurant is hidden away in a street alley, but if you have the address it's really easy to find and it's right in the heart of montenapoleone, perfect if you're all worn out after your Shoppingtour and need a bite to eat. Our waiter was a very funny and attentive elder italian guy. His wine recommendation was perfect for our main course. The food was very good, although my mom and I couldn't get past the primo platta. But for dessert I couldn't resist to try the tiramisu. At the end I was rewarded by one of the best tiramisus I've ever had!

Whether you're meeting friends or just spending some quality time with yourself, Café Trussardi,…read morelocated in the centre of Milan near the Teatro all Scalla, offers hospitality and relaxation in an elegant setting, complete with cocktails and caviar that are out of this world! While killing time between walking the beautiful streets of Milan, I wanted to treat myself to a small snack and a drink (or two). I was impressed by the modern design, with crisp angles around every corner and natural, clean colors. From the moment I entered I felt a sense of calm, and the server greeted me and showed me to a comfortable seat along the bar. The list of cocktails was very diverse, and the drinks menu reflected the upscale atmosphere. I decided to start with a cocktail called Beer Americano, a mix of bitter Campari, red Vermouth, and white beer, topped with the zest of a fresh orange. This was a uniquely refreshing cocktail, as the citrus notes really picked up on the herbal flavors of the Campari. I chose to indulge in Trussardi Calvisius caviar, an excellent choice to match the flavors of my cocktail. This is seriously the best caviar I have ever eaten, fresh, a notch salty, but delicate and delicious. After my Beer Americano, I knew I had to try at least one more cocktail on the list, and ordered the Apple Tru, crafted with Calvados, cinnamon, apple, ginger and BBB bitters. Perfect for fall. I'll definitely be returning to try more cocktails!

Thankfully, the menu had a variety of options with various prices, although most of it was above what we wanted to pay for lunch. I was still able to get a 15 euro plate of well-made pasta. Since it was early in our trip, I did not mind eating pasta. My friend ordered a pumpkin soup with bacon and scallops which she really enjoyed. The person serving us was polite and helpful. She let my friend try several different wines before she decided on what to drink. Our overall experience went from being skeptical as we walked in to this place to being satisfied as we walked out.

The service was very bad, the server tried to tell me to get a 50€ steak when I kept just asking for a simple salad. The salad and a water were 30€ total. Ridiculous! If you're hungry, do NOT go here! Because to eat a normal-sized meal here would probably be minimum of 60€, if you want an appetizer, main course, and dessert. Crazy!

I think it's probably due to the coordinated table cloth and uniform of the waiters and waitresses. It's the first thing I noticed and it's what set it apart from the other restaurants. I love the fresh flowers that every table had. From the moment we entered, we were warmly greeted with two staffs and beautiful smiles. I ordered the Risotto with escapee courgettes, mussels. This is the best risotto I've ever had. The taste lingers in my mouth even till today. I would go back to have this again and again. The creamy taste and perfectly cooked risotto is just flawless! The mussels were a nice touch. My daughter had the Spaghetti cavalier cocco with tomato, basil and cows milk stracciatella. It looks simple but oooh so amazingly delicious!!! With the fresh creamy cheese. It was a delightful treat in our mouth. The gelato didn't make it to the photo but it was a perfectly finishing touch. It was an amazing experience dining with Savini.
